Alice: I can't believe this! It's actually over!

Ignis & Marzio: *are smooching in the background*

Alice: I finished SBA! I really did!

Ignis & Marzio: *are still smooching*

Alice: Now I can go on holiday! Whee!

Ignis & Marzio: *grab her from behind and throw her on her computer desk's chair*

Alice: Wha...?!

Ignis: What about the epilogue?

Marzio: Yeah, where's my birthday smut?

Alice: *blinks*

Ignis: And what abut terrorizing Marzio's family? Weren't you supposed to write that?

Marzio: *nods in agreement* Yeah, and he's supposed to kick Venris' ass too. You promised he'd get to kick Venris' ass!

Alice: *blinks* Actually, I think I said "kick Venris in the balls", not the ass.

(Venris: *is tied up in the basement and awaits his grim sentence*)

Ignis: And what about my son?

Marzio: Yeah, what about... Hey, wait a moment! WHAT SON?

Ignis: Well, someone does have to carry on the family line, you know.

Marzio: Nooo!!!!!!!!!!! *sob sob*

Ignis: *sweatdrop* Come now, you knew this had to happen one day... *pats his back*

Marzio: *sob sob*

Ignis: *pat pat*

Alice: *tries to sneak away undetected... only to back down into Owen*

Owen: *smirks*

Alice: Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh!!!

Owen: And what about MY story? You WERE planning on writing it, right?

Alice: *fingers crossed behind her* Oh, suuuuuuure! As soon as I'm done with all the fics I have started, and those SBA sequels.

Owen: But that could take AGES!

Alice: Yeah, but think about all the fun you and Tempesta can have while waiting. *eg*

Owen: You do have a point... but what are we going to do about those two? *points at Ignis and Marzio "making up" from their argument-thingie*

Alice: *blinks* We~el... we could... *whispers something in Owen's ear*

Owen: *smirks* Not bad, not bad. Do you want to let the others know or should I?

Alice: By all means, you do it. I have an appointment with two sexy unicorns.

Owen: Oh. Okay then.

Alice: *rushes away with a decisively devilish smile on her lips*

Owen: *shouts* OOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!

Hello everyone!

I can't believe it. After three years of writing (counting the huge breaks), my first important project is finally completed.

It's been a fun three years, and having all of you wonderful people to share this story with has proved an incredible, and at the same time very pleasant, experience. And fun, too - especially when I got some outraged comments because I proved incredibly cruel with one of the characters. Still, this story was supposed to have a happy ending from the start, so I hope that didn't disappoint anyone :)) And of course I'd never leave Marzio without something as important as his wings. I am not that evil!

So, "Shielded in Broken Armours" is now officially finished. Of course, you still have the series epilogue to look forward to on August 10th (which is also Marzio's birthday by the way). And if you check my site, you'll see that I am keeping this in the "works in progress" section - so do not fear, Ignis and Marzio will be back with new adventures once I give some attention to my other, seriously neglected, characters.

I want to thank you all for reading this story, whether you gave feedback or not, listened to my ramblings or not, had a good time reading... or not?! Don't tell me you didn't have a good time, I'll be crushed! And if I managed to make you smile when you opened your mailbox and saw a new chapter was up, or inspired you, then I am happy. I'd also like to apologize for the long periods of time that passed between chapters, and hope you can forgive me for it.

Well, this is it. The final note is done, and this author is off to bed!
