Author's notes

Kori is a character I roleplay in an original roleplay blog called The Silhouette Project. Once one of heaven's angels, he has fallen his purity shackled in part by bitterness, in part by the pain and guilt which surrounds his soul. Accused and found guilty of a crime, which he did not commit - this is an attempt at his backstory, at his reasons for becoming the way he has.

This story rated 'R' to be safe and contains shounen ai hints, so if that isn't your cup of tea then please don't read. It is also carries a warning for angst and themes of betrayal.

This is the first original fanfiction I have written in quite a while and I am afraid I haven't done the complex character, which is Kori justice, and so I would really appreciate feedback for this story… It may after all inspire me to write more.

The story starts off with a flashback sequence (typed in small script), but flicks to present day - hopefully it's obvious which part is which.
