Smile
Smile and say you’re okay,
Save the tears for a later day.
Be brave, act strong,
Let no one see what’s wrong.
Keep in the tears, hide the pain,
Your loss is their gain.
Show no fear, keep your head high,
Take your lies to the grave when you die.
Your pain will hurt them,
Your smile can save them.
Even if it’s just for one more day,
Let the lie of happiness light their way.
So just smile and say you’re okay,
Express your pain in another way.
