Alright Guys. This is my first fic online and hopefully it won’t be the last. These characters aren’t owned by me because they are based on real people. The only difference is, my character is a guy and in real life I’m a girl. Don’t ask. LOL.
The people are as follows:
Chihaya/Betsunin- Me
Kazuki/Circe- Lauren
Hennajin/Katoya- David AKA Jimmy the Straw Master
Awa/Itsuya- Bruce
Katerina/Meshigaru- Amanda AKA Chibi
I know it seems like a lot of people, but not everyone will be in the same place at the same time, just like it is out here in the real world. Also, the reason we each have two names is because Lauren is writing a story called “Turquoise Colored Romance” and we have the whole “Yami/Hikari” thing going on. But enough with that! Let’s start the story!
“Someone Like You”
A TCR AU
Chapter One
Two boys were sitting on a park bench. No one else was around and the two were enjoying some rare “quiet time”.
“Betsu-kun?” asked the smaller one, “How long do you think until Kaki-san and the others notice we’re missing?”
“Hopefully not anytime soon” said Betsunin “Now shut up Chihaya. You’re ruining the mood.”
Chihaya’s forehead fell onto Betsunin’s shoulder.
“Alright” he said.
Betsunin smiled.
“I’ve never seen you so agreeable” he said, “Are you okay?”
The brunette smiled and his head shook slightly.
“It’s nothing. Don’t worry about it.”
Betsunin turned his head and the rosy scent of Chihaya’s hair filled his nostrils. He loved the smaller boy. Unfortunately, no one else knew this. He wasn’t even sure if the younger boy even liked him as a friend. He couldn’t ask him to be his lover so soon after meeting him. Sure, he used the suffix -kun, but then again, so did everyone else.
He cringed as he heard voices behind them and felt the weight on his shoulder lift as Chihaya’s head left it.
“Chihaya! Betsu! Where are you?”
Chihaya turned around.
“Over here Circe-san!”
Betsunin looked at the brunette and winced as Circe, Kazuki, Katerina, and Meshigaru came towards tehm.
‘Oh no,’ he thought, ‘The loudlings and the sexually confused duo.’
He nudged Chihaya with his elbow.
“Hey, I’m gonna go home.”
Chihaya’s eyes turned towards him.
“Why?”
Betsunin thought for a moment before deciding to take a big chance.
“Because.”
He got up and knelt down, whispering into Chihaya’s ear.
“I don’t wanna be around when you realize what I’m about to do.”
He quickly placed a kiss on Chihaya’s lips and left.
By the time everyone reached Chihaya, Betsunin was long gone. The brunette stared in the direction Betsu left in and slowly brought his hand up to his lips.

He couldn’t believe he did it. He fell onto his single bed in the apartment he owned.
‘I kissed him… He’s gonna hate me now… I just know it…’
He heard a ring. His telephone. He ignored it. He couldn’t face anyone right now.

Chihaya flipped onto his stomach. His bed was invitingly soft, yet, he couldn’t fall asleep. His mind kept going back to that instant in the park. He sighed. His first kiss and it hadn’t even lasted more than two seconds.
Plus, it was from Betsunin. A guy. He barely even knew him. From what he had heard, Betsunin was a smart mouth, but a softie if you knew him well enough.
‘Why does he have an interest in me?’ he thought, ‘I’m not anything special. My temper doesn’t count.’
Chihaya was almost always irritated with one thing or another. Usually it had to do with being at his home at the wrong time. Meaning anytime his mother was home. Other times, it was one of his sisters or his brother, or even one of his many friends that he had.
For some reason, when he had been in the park alone with Betsunin, he had felt oddly cam. At peace.
He stared at the unfamiliar ceiling of his room. He never stayed in it. This was actually the first time in a week he had been home, but his mom had insisted he stay.
“Dammit all to hell and back and let Jimmy take care of it!”
