In the dark

My soul waits

To be found

While I wait,

My soul hates

The siren's sound

The sirens sing,

Their voice a spell

That captures you

I watch them drag

You into hell

I cry for you.

Now that you're gone

Who will save me

From the rising tide?

My soul is lost,

And they can't see,

How I hurt inside.

So I just smile,

And say `I'm fine'

My wounds soon will heal

When it's my time

Then I will shine,

And my smile will be real.
