Hazard sat with her arms crossed over her chest head slightly lowered so no one could see her eyes. Samanta tapped her on the shoulder making her head lull back and revealing she was fast asleep. Samanta directed a questioning look at Ginryu who only shrugged his shoulders. He looked to be very well rested and in a happy mood but Jonah's next words would ruin that.

"So today you go on your first mission gathering a group of highly dangerous prison escapees from the Mars colony."

"You're sending us on a wild goose chase? This isn't right Hazard's barely able to keep her eyes open I'll obviously be doing all the work." Hazard stood up so quick her chair fell back and placed her hands on the table. It seemed like she was going to say something but instead she fell back Samanta sliding behind her in her chair before she could hit the floor. The chair slid back till it hit the wall Hazard staying half sprawled over Samanta who rubbed the back of her head where it had bumped into the wall.

"Jonahs what could be wrong with her?" Jonahs picked Hazard up as if she were a mere feather placing her down on the table. He checked her temperature by placing a hand on her forehead then both cheeks.

"She's burning up," he lifted her eyelids, "and from the way her eyes look it seems she's having some sort of drug related episode. They must've had her addicted to something in the institute and since she's been out of there for more than twenty four hours she's feigning."

Jonahs cursed holding Hazard down on her side as she began to seize, this is not how he had expected the notorious Hazard to be. Hazard was supposed to be the strongest mutant in existence not some sickly teenage girl.

Episode 03: Prepare to Fight- Do It Alone

"Oh no you're not getting away! Silver Dragon!" He spoke into the bracelet on his wrist while putting up the other arm. The arm of Silver Dragon slammed onto the floor blocking the escape of the criminals. They all turned to look at Ginryu who stood smiling like he had just achieved the greatest feat in the world. They all gave their own little smiles but obvious bad intentions lay behind them. Ginryu's smile faltered and he gave a little nervous laugh reaching for the sword behind his back and cursing when he found it not there.

"You guys feel like breaking a couple of bones?" All the guys nodded their head beginning to crack their knuckles and advancing towards Ginryu. A whip came down between the men and Ginryu.

"Now boys I recommend you play nice." They turned their heads to look at the source of interruption giddy smiles immediately coming onto their faces. The copper haired woman had been the one to make an opening for all of them to escape. Ginryu took advantage of the distraction jumping into the cockpit of Silver Dragon activating the Pilot Mode.

"Let's see who gets some bones broken now!" He grabbed a handful of men closing them in his fist and shaking them up a bit. When he put them down they all spun around for a bit then fell flat on their faces. He laughed getting ready to grab the next group but seeing someone familiar stopped for just a second too long. A bomb went off throwing Silver Dragon back and instantly killing dozens of escaped prisoners. When the smoke cleared everyone was on the floor Ginryu slowly getting Silver Dragon back on its feet.

"Hey you! What the Hell are you doing?!" He looked down at the jail warden who had with him a group of very capable looking police officers. He waved and jumped back into Silver Dragon not having taken notice of the note sticking to the outside of the cockpit.

Samanta came running into the room stopping to regain normal breathing patterns and putting a hand up to tell Jonahs to wait one second. Finally she seemed to be ready to speak though she was still panting a bit.

"Hazard is missing." The reaction was immediate Jonahs got up from his chair making it fall to the floor and ran down the way Samanta had come.

"That girl is more trouble than she's worth." Before Jonahs could get into Hazard's room Ginryu got into his path holding up a note.

"Found this while I was checking Silver Dragon for damage." Jonahs took the note reading the chicken scratch on it to his best ability but not being able to make out a word. Ginryu snatched the paper from his hands with an angry sigh.

"It's thug code they purposely write as if it says nothing so if anyone but who's not supposed to find it does they think it's just garbage. It says 'Come with us willingly or we blow up colony after colony for every day you don't come to us. We don't care if we have to destroy the entire universe. Come to the Thebe colony tonight or we blow it sky high. Remember Ginryu that pretty girl is only pretending to like you.' Real weird right?"

"Pretty girl? They must mean Hazard. Oh damn it." Ginryu was left standing in the hallway as Jonahs ran off to look for Hazard. Shrugging his shoulders he went into Jonahs office ignoring Samanta rummaging through Jonahs' desk going to the computer. He hacked into The UPF criminal database in a matter of seconds smiling with the thought of using Jonahs' password as blackmail against him. Boy would Samanta be pleased if she knew his password, RedFox. Not hard to figure out who that was all about. Ginryu looked up from the computer as he heard a crash and some glass breaking. Samanta popped up from behind one of Jonahs shelves now thrown on the floor.

"I'm okay."

"Does he know you look through his stuff all the time?"

"He tells me to, to make sure there's no bugs and all that stuff."

"You two are weird." Samanta only shrugged her shoulders leaving the room most likely to find a broom. Looking back at the computer Ginryu found exactly what he was looking for printing it out and making a hasty exit.

She stood overlooking the city with a sad smile leaning on a tree. From up here it all looked so beautiful but she never saw beauty while she was down there. Sighing she closed her eyes holding back the tears that threatened to overflow. Someone put an arm around her waist helping her stay upright knowing anytime soon she could pass out.

"I wondered where you went dear sister?"

"We're not sisters Lay."

"In a way no and in a way yes. We both went through the same pain I was just smart enough to get out of there when I had the chance." Hazard nodded her head looking out at the town again.

"I was stupid to stay but you wouldn't have taken me with you would have you?"

"I would've. You're like my baby, my protégé. Do you want to come with me now? They can't take care of you they don't know how to but I do. Come with me my baby sister."

"But what about Ginryu won't he come after me? I'm supposed to be his partner."

"Don't worry about him. I have that covered. Just come with me and together we'll show this world not to put us down because we come back up fighting." Hazard smiled as she let Layla Rain lead her to the air bike (basically just a flying motorcycle) she had come in. Layla Rain hopped on and waited for Hazard to do the same as she adjusted her helmet. Hazard looked at the scenery one more time then got on behind Layla Rain putting her arms around her waist as she sped off.

With his headphones going full blast Ginryu skated through the air doing wild turns that scared the crap out of everyone he passed. (FYI he's on a skateboard with a jet engine connected to it his feet strapped to it. For future reference I'm going to be calling them air boards, yes I am very creative. X.x) He was in an absolutely terrific mood since he hadn't seen Hazard all day so no one to put him in a bad mood. Someone whizzed by him in an air bike making him do a complete 360 that left him in a collision course with the other vehicles docked in Titan bay. With some very quick maneuvering he got himself back above the other vehicles and jumped down into a parking space.
"Time number 159 that I was almost killed." He ran a hand through his hair making it messier than it already was if that's even possible. He spotted familiar copper locks and ran after her seeing her turn to smile at him as she bounced away from him. He had almost caught up to her when he was thrown up into the air and slammed back into a wall. Shaking his head he looked up at the culprit recognizing the curves of the woman in front of him but not her face. She wore a wicked smile that went right up to her glowing silver eyes, her wild black mane floating around her. Ginryu gasped as he noticed the scar on her forehead.

'How I was identified. I can change my form but I can't get rid of any scars on my body.' Cursing he scampered away from her barely avoiding a bolt of lightning hearing her laugh as if this was the best game ever.

"You can run but you can't hide!" With that she fired an array of lightning bolts all of which he dodged but the fire ball she threw out scorched his shirt leaving him rolling on the floor to get the fire out.

"Hazard why are you doing this?" A metal claw grabbed him around the back lifting him up above Hazard's head as electric sparks traveled on her fingertips.

"Don't try to reason with my baby sis she's far beyond that point. She's back with me now she has no need of you or UPF. They only wanted to hurt her anyway but I'll take care of her. Together we will find the ones that will care for us and accept us. 'Cause isn't that what every girl wants, acceptance? No one would accept her the way she is but with me she can at least be well cared for. She and I we know the same pain and we'll survive together."

"I know who you are! Layla Rain Chavez died in the first attack against the Earth but your body was still partially operational so you were cryogenically frozen and taken to Gaia, the second Earth. There you were made into a cyborg but you were still a child. You're body continued to grow as would a humans and no one noticed you weren't till they gave you up to a human family. When you came of age your body started changing completely the metallic elements becoming noticed and you slaughtered the entire colony because they couldn't accept you. You were taken again to be researched as a mutant much like Hazard was but you're not a mutant you're just scrap metal."

"Hurt him Haz he's hurt my feelings." She tossed him up into the air Hazard keeping him up with the electric currents she made run through his body. Sparks flew from his body as he screamed out in pain unable to do anything else. Layla Rain stood up smiling proudly as someone came up behind her wrapping their arms lovingly around her waist. She rubbed her cheek against the ski mask he wore feeling him smile.

"That's enough I don't want him to die this is just to show him how easily people turn against him. It's just a warning to show him not everyone loves the perfect doll. No on the contrary the perfect doll is there to be broken." Layla Rain called out to Hazard with a whistle making her look up at her. She signaled her to put Ginryu down and Hazard did so letting him fall to the floor with a thud.

"Are you going to stay this time?"

"No. I have toys to attend to. The Barbie she won't stay with us she'll go back to her Ken get rid of her."

"But."

"I know you love her like she's really your sister so see this as just some sibling rivalry. On the other hand keep her she can break him I see it in his eyes he feels for her. We'll use this to our advantage. Remember my dear Layla Rain you are just a machine you're heart is made of metal embrace that coldness." She nodded her head turning away from him not noticing the way his eyes narrowed just before he disappeared into the night. She dove down in front of Hazard blocking her view of Ginryu, she looked a little concerned Layla Rain noted. Layla Rain grabbed Hazard's arm making her lock her eyes on her.

"Let's go they'll come for him soon." Hazard nodded her head and began to walk away feeling she should stay. Layla Rain noticed her hesitation and with a bit of reluctance injected her in the arm with a small needle filled with some glowing blue liquid. Hazard stiffened up completely as the blue liquid traveled through her veins making her entire body glow the blue color then remaining only in her eyes.

"We've wasted too much time let's get out of here Lay." She hopped onto the bike revving up the engine as Layla Rain got on behind her.

"Maybe he would've accepted you," she whispered it so Hazard couldn't hear then slipped on her helmet.

"He's not responding to me! Damn it this is insane! Jiro!" Again she tried CPR getting no results while Jonahs paced back and forth trying to figure out who could've done this.

"It's no use Samanta. Hazard's gone Ginryu's dead."

"Don't count him out so quickly Jonahs." Ginryu was taking deep breathes as he rolled onto his side rubbing his chest.

"Good now you can tell me who did this?" Ginryu stayed silent as he pulled himself onto wobbly legs Samanta taking notice let him lean on her. Ginryu looked down at his hand at the locket he held with a mix of anger and hurt on his face. He had snatched her locket when she threw him to the floor just before he passed out. Samanta followed his gaze seeing the locket and hiding her 'duh' expression from Jonahs.

"She wasn't herself."

"Yes I think you're right." She gave him a comforting smile as she helped him into the hovercraft Jonahs hopping into the pilot's seat.

"Hey what about the air board I came on?"

"We already got it. Jonahs put it in the back while I was trying to revive you."

"Nice to know Jonahs worries about precious technology instead of my life."

"I am worried that's why I want to know who did this so I can stop them from harming you and anybody else. Already many people have been sent to the hospital with serious injuries that seem to be caused from being struck by lightning numerously. As we know lightning rarely strikes twice in the same place unless something or someone is controlling it. So who was it Ginryu?"

"No one I can't handle. You two don't worry I know how to stop this person."

"Ginryu you are aware that Hazard has left UPF so you will be a lone agent?"

"Very much aware." He looked out at the sky ignoring Jonahs and Samanta even as she tried to speak to him.

"Why won't you show your face?" She stepped towards him but he put a revolver up aiming it at her face as she froze in her spot Layla Rain looking away.

"It's none of your business what I look like under this mask. You're a crony not worthy of knowing my identity." Hazard sat down smiling at him with her head propped up on her hand Layla Rain coming to sit on the table counting the stacks of money on it.

"Do we have enough yet?"

"No we need much more. You girls are doing very good though I'm proud of the two of you. Come sit here with me Layla Rain." Happily she sat herself on his lap ignoring Hazard who was touching her neck for something feeling it missing. She stood up making the other two look at her and the man once again point his gun at her.

"What's wrong don't you trust me?" The way she said it seemed like he shouldn't trust her but he only laughed lowering his gun and putting it in the holster at his side.

"I don't trust anybody it's the way of the world Sweetheart."

"I just lost something I have to go find it."

"The locket he took it."

"Ginryu," her eyes narrowed and Layla Rain stood up putting a hand on her shoulder.

"We'll go get it together. He's probably trying to lure you out alone."

"Hazard come in Hazard!" The source of the voice was coming from Hazard's shoulder and she turned her head to the side to look at the little com link she had forgotten all about. It was Samanta's voice coming from the com link smiling devilishly Hazard pressed it so she could respond.

"He told you to contact me didn't he? Tell him to meet me in Ganymede, Aldarin Road and bring my locket or he's dead." (Just so everyone knows Thebe and Ganymede are both moons of Jupiter, so now you know Layla Rain likes to hide out in moon colonies especially those of Jupiter.)

"You're not going." Ginryu gave Jonahs a challenging look as he began to walk away.

"Oh and no Silver Dragon if I see it I will blow it up even if you're inside of it," her voice showed no sign of humor and he knew she was being completely honest.

"Ginryu you are not going."

"You don't control me. If you follow me you'll be back to square one, agent free." He walked away dropping his bomber jacket on the floor showing off the two guns at his sides as he grabbed his sword. With one quick motion the broad sword was strapped to his back.

"He looks prepared to me."

"He's not going to use any of it, he knows who it is. I know you do too Samanta. It's Hazard she loves the lightning." Jonahs looked over at the screen seeing Ginryu hopping into one of the ships and taking off. Ginryu was careful in steering the ship so terrified that he was going to crash it never having flown one before. It didn't help that he was a bit anxious wanting to get to Ganymede as fast as he could to see Hazard. He was almost there and he could already see two women in black leather bodysuits one short the other long, Hazard wore the short one. She waved at him as he turned off the ship walking towards him seductively keeping her hands on her short swords. Ginryu put up the locket and she smiled as a dagger came out from under her sleeve. She tossed it letting it stick into the wall with the locket hanging from it.

"It'll be safe there while I attend to you. Lay do me a favor and don't interfere!" To show she wouldn't interfere Layla Rain sat herself down on Ginryu's ship punching out the engine with a metal fist.

"He's all yours." Hazard pulled out her short swords licking the blade of one while pushing the other into the wall leaving it there as she closed the distance between them. She grabbed the back of his head and put her lips to his ear flicking her tongue out onto it. Ginryu didn't make a move waiting to see what she was planning.

"I keep trying to understand why I want to kill you but I find no valid reason. I really just want to hear you scream. Do you like the sound of that? It means I might let you live but you have to scream for me. Really scream." She kissed him biting down on his lip savagely and jumped away as he wiped at the blood.

"Kinky! Didn't know you liked it like that!" Hazard laughed hidden in the shadows jumping down behind Ginryu and grabbing his sword but he pushed her back onto a wall. She let go of the sword turning herself into a boa constrictor and wrapping around his neck Ginryu grabbing her locket from the wall. Hazard let him go to go catch the locket glaring at him as she put it on then dove into an alleyway. Ginryu followed after her stumbling back as she swiped at him with her short sword. She stuck her tongue out at him from where she was hanging upside down on a fire escape. Ginryu reached out to grab her cursing as his pants fell to the floor hearing Hazard laughing further down the alley from the rooftops. He saw her dive onto another roof as he adjusted his pants hating that wicked smile she wore. It always meant something bad was going to happen to him when she smiled like that and without missing a beat her short sword came flying straight towards his heart. He dropped down onto the floor barely missing getting his heart skewered and cursing as he didn't hear the sword hit anything, that could only mean Hazard had gotten it back. As soon as he got up she tackled him down straddling him and pulling on his shirt to hold him slightly up.

"Why won't you scream for me? All I want is to hear you scream." She punched him letting him fall back onto the concrete Ginryu putting a hand behind his head to check for bleeding. Hazard grabbed his hands holding them down above his head as she leaned down with long brown hair serving as a curtain around both their faces.

"What the fuck is wrong with you?" She leaned down towards his ear looking like she was going to bite him again.

"He's been watching I have to make him think I killed you or the whole undercover thing is blown. He and Lay are out to destroy the entire universe and I just can't let them do that. They think they've been controlling me with mind serums but they lost effect after I attacked you last night. I figured out their whole little scheme but I have to make them think I'm still in with them. This is going to hurt a little." She sat up flipping her hair back and punching him in the jaw. Ginryu tried to get a hit in but she jumped away before he could taking one of his guns with her. She disappeared again into a small space between two apartment complexes Ginryu hearing her change the bullet cartridge. He looked at what she had left in his hand to see it was a cartridge of blanks and blood packets.

"Smart ass." Hazard shot at Ginryu from the top of the apartment complex, she had climbed up the side of the building.

"Scream for me baby!" Ginryu ducked into the apartment complex pushing down an unfortunate tenant to get to the elevator. As soon as he reached the roof more shots were fired but these were not blanks. Hazard looked over at him winking at him and giving a slight nod to the left to where the other shooter was hidden behind a vent.

"We would've made great partners but I guess it had to end this way." He fired at her purposely missing and letting her shoot at him while the other guy was busy trying to reload his gun. Ginryu pretended to be injured staggering towards Hazard with his hand on his stomach holding the torn packets of fake blood. Hazard aimed the gun at him again as she stood on the edge of the roof only the night sky behind her. A shot was fired that sent Hazard falling back dropping the gun to reach out to something to hold onto finding nothing. Her eyes locked onto Ginryu's as she fell, to him it seeming to go in slow motion. He reached out to grab her hand feeling her fingers slide down his not able to keep a grip on her.

"Hazard!" Someone hit him on the back of the head knocking him out cold.
