Chapter 1

I lifted my arm over my head, thrusting my hip to the left. Then, I twirled around, stopping with my foot out in front of me, thrusting my chest forward and elegantly falling to the ground as the beat came to a sudden stop. When I danced, it felt like shots of pure ecstasy were flowing through out my body, a natural high, which left me with a headache. A small and easily curable price to pay for such a sweet feeling.
Sadly though, every time the music stops I'm brought back to reality. The phone, which lay beside me of the floor, rang loudly in my ear, and I smiled, knowing exactly who it was. I picked it up and placed it to my ear answering with an amused “Hello?”
“Don't you laugh at me girl! I tell you every day to stop making so much racket and every day you say `I'll try Mr. Forist' In that cutesy amused little voice and I'm just plain sick of it! If you make anymore racket to wake me up anymore I'm complaining and getting you evicted!” My down stares neighbor, a middle aged lonely man named Kevin Forist, shouted through the receiver at me, sounding serious. I had to try hard not to laugh.
“I'm sorry Mr. Forist, but I have to get my exercise!” Oh! How badly I wanted to at least giggle!
“ Bah! That can be done quietly! This is your last warning!” And with that he hung the phone up on me.
I was finally able to let my giggles out, and did so, much to my relief. After a giggle fit, I calmed myself down and got off the floor, turning the music back on. I gazed out the window to check the weather. It was sunny and the thermometer said it was 90 degrees. Another hot, sticky, June day.
I walked into the bathroom and took a quick shower, getting out 20 minutes later and walking to my room. I rubbed a towel over my long hair, originally black; it had been colored an emerald green. I dropped the towel that had been around my body on the floor and frowned at my body. I was a slightly milky shade of peachy white, but I loved how pale I was, so that wasn't the problem. The problem was that I was too tall, and I was overweight. Sure, being overweight gave me some killer hips and a wonderfully huge bust, but it also gave me a large abdomen, which in my mind, made it seem like I didn't have any curves at all.
I looked through my dresser and found a lovely Victorian style corset, light blue with black stripes to help give me an hourglass look and had lace on the top of it, The lace looked lovely against the pale swells of my breast. I went into the small closet and grabbed a pair of black Capri style pants that had big silky ribbons on the bottom sides and chains crossing in the back to make an “X”.
I sat at my small vanity mirror and put my hair up into two buns on either side of my head, and then sat to work to applying makeup. I put a bit of powder on to cover up some blotchy-ness and put a soft blush to my cheeks. I put on some heavy black eyeliner aping pink glitter liquid eye liner to it. I put on a pair of fake eyelashes, like I needed them, and finally applied some bright pink lipstick.

I smiled, Finally please with my appearance and walked out to the kitchen and grabbed my lunch from the fridge. Walking to the door, I grabbed my bag from the side table and grabbed my keys from it, locking my door after closing it. I didn't wait for the elevator and took the steps down to the first floor of the apartment, walking out the doors and into the parking lot where my pride and joy. My Eagle Cadillac Ultimate Elite Hearse. It was my baby and I loved it more than anything. It's simple yet outlandish elegance is what made it so special. Plus, you just didn't see a hearse driving down the street WITHOUT a corpse in it everyday.
I got in and looked at the things I had put in it. I had a CD player installed, so I had lots of CDs scattered across the bench seat. In the back, I had a couple bench seats installed along the sides, making it like a limo. It was defiantly the car to be in for parties, concerts, and clubs. On the floor in the front , My digital camera and my video camera lay, I decided that I would use my video camera today at work.
I was a clerk at Hot Topic in the mall, I secretly longed to have my own shop where I could sell clothes I had made, or clothes that I loved. Everyone said I should be an artist, but I only drew for fun, I'd never wanna do it professionally.
Turning the key in the ignition, the engine came to life, softly purring. I pulled out of the parking spot and drove to my job, I am Ghost' song The most beautiful nightmare” blaring through the speakers.
