Fan Fiction ❯ Stolen Darkness Episode IV ❯ Dante ( Chapter 1 )
Dante
The beeping has finally ended, but with the end of that beep, comes the end of a life, a life's end of ones sister, that one is Dante. His sister had fought the disease for some time now, but she could no longer fight that hard battle. She had nothing left in her. And now Dante has nothing left within in him. Tears stroll down his cheek, as he grips her hand, now leaving the warmth state it had been in, and entering a state of bitter eminence. The nurses pull him back, as they stroll his sister's stretcher down the hall, and to the left. He leaves the room and enters the lobby, now empty of others, the time on the clock above saying 2:00 am. He was the only one in the room, he was left alone now, and he would now be forever. He no longer has any family. That which was is no longer. He picks up a pen on top of a porno magazine left on the across coffee table beside a 1/3 cup of coffee used as a book mark for a certain centerfold. He clicks the pen open, and treads it over his left wrist, he pulls the pen up, prepared to drive it through his wrist and inch away from touching his skin, the pen stops, he no longer has any control, and the pen leaves his hand and flies to the other side of the room in a corner of darkness.
"What?" he said astonished.
Movement went on in the shadow the pen had disappeared within. A man dressed in black made his way towards Dante, hand still hovering over wrist. A hand which he later out at his side.
"Who are you?" Dante stuttered.
"I am nothing and everything you wish to know…" he answered, his long black hair swaying from the wind.
"I don't…" Dante trailed off.
"Understand? Do not worry; just do as I say, Free Your Mind."
Dante closed his eyes, and they both soon disappeared in an abyss of darkness. The room gone with them in a flash, then reappearing as soon as it had left to the normal eye. The room filled with cops, aiming guns at what was supposed to be a mourning man, grieved by the death of his sister, but he had disappeared someplace, some how, with a man he did not know.
"He's gone sir…" one officer said to another, with over half a dozen badges on his shirt.
"He can't live for the next week, after what he did to that innocent girl, he calls his sister," the chief turned around and walked away. His eyes flashed red, and then he disappeared into some sort of darkness.
"Are we sure he killed his sister?" another officer asked.
"Chief says he did, and we have to do as he says," one walked over after searching the room.
"Chief doesn't seem like chief though…" an older officer joined in.
"Doesn't matter, we just have to find this sicko and turn him in…" a very young office united in the conversation, he had an unseen smirk on his face, his eyes flashed red as well.
