Chapter One-So it begins

The moon was full, and the night was dark, as it always was on a full moon. With the nights blush, it made the moon seem like a gigantic night-light, to keep all the scary things away. But tonight, a few scary things can't be kept away with a simple night-light, the moons going to need a little help with those scary things. St. Lunar, a city where the moon shines it's brightest, hence the name, Lunar. On an island which rests in the enter of it's harbor, also rests a huge cliff overlooking the harbor and the city surrounding. On top of the jagged cliff, stands an entity unknown to most human life. A sword over his left shoulder, and a trench coat keeping him safe from the cool air he dislikes. He dislikes many things for reasons unknown. He stares off into the night, he's been staring at the same spot for quite some time now. I guess because there's a huge comet hurling its way towards that cliff. But not just the cliff may see harm, but the rest of the world. Not because of the comets impact or result of it hitting the earth, but because of what's inside the comet. The man in black looks down and murmurs something to himself.

"It's time…" his words seem to be on fire, as he turns around and begins his journey down the cliff, and to a certain place in the city. St. Lunar University, "only the rich kids go here," is the motto people have given it over the years. Not just the rich, but also the smart, and the lucky. The library is closed at this time, but someone is doing a little after school research without authority. She's surrounded by at least thirty books containing information on the same thing, "The Comet that Killed the Dinosaurs." She's connected tables to one another to hold all these books to her liking, as she reads a book never checked out before. Never.

"Comet…magic? Council…One?" she said as she read the book intently. As she read, the man in black, made his way across the bridge connecting the island to the city of the moon, his sword over his shoulder still, care free of spectators.

"I'm the only one to borrow this book? Odd…no one else could understand it," the girl read the books borrowing status with surprise. The man in black walked between the streets and into a dark alleyway, he, like the darkness, disappeared. The comet had made its way towards the cliffs bottom and stuck with little impact surprisingly, it embedded it's self within the bottom of the cliff, fire started at the edges of the island. Then the comet started to split open slowly, laughter erupted slowly, as the comet had ripped open from top to bottom. Shadows could be seen, a million maybe, or double that. The men within the comet, made their way out, and onto the sand, continuing the laughter, in the enter was a man with long hair, and a beard like most of the others. He stood on top of a huge limestone boulder, and addressed the others; he seemed to be the leader.

"SILENCE!" he cried from his position, "the time has come! The "One" is ours! And with her, we will regain supremacy," he smirked, "she is at her…school…hurry!"

The man in black, made his way to a street sign labeled, "Woom Island" pointing behind him, and a sign labeled "St. Lunar University" pointing up ahead.

"While you're at the school, I'll be else where…" the man, who had addressed the million others like him, told them of his plans.

"Where?" one of the others asked.

"Taking something back…" the man with the long hair replied.

"Whoa…" the girl had opened to a page in the center of the book, the language was not of this earth. But those words of enigma changed to English slowly:

Legions upon legions will fight for the honor, of having this special being apart of their Council, making them higher than all. The life of the one, is more important than anything…

The girl crossed her arms, and peered off into the distance, "How cool would that be?" she put her hands down, "The most important person in the galaxy…" just then, she saw a shadow creep behind a shelf aside from the Librarians desk, "Miss. Sankt? I'm sorry for sneaking in but-" she had walked over to the shelf, and was surprised to see what was there.

"G-g-g-ahhh…" A man dressed in white was choking Miss. Sankt to death; his hand seemed to be burning her flesh slowly, connected to an arm that seemed abnormally long.

"Scream for me…" he said slowly. He then noticed the girl standing there, "Oh…she has arrived…which means the scream is no longer needed. Which also means…you Sankt, are no longer needed…" he smirked.

"P-please…let me…" Miss. Sankt tried to bargain for her life, but it didn't work with this bald headed man, he tightened his grip and cracked her neck.

"Live? Ha!" he dropped her on the ground carelessly, his arm retracted back to normal position, he then turned towards the girl, I'm glad you came, it really hurts extending ones arm…" he took a step towards her, "So…lets go already."

"W-who are you?" she asked in astonishment.

The window behind her broke apart, glass flew in all directions, there stood the man in black, sword in right hand, the scar on his left eye ignited and a look of irritation on his face, "A bitch…" he answered the girls question, "now I advise you to move."

"Dammit, how the hell did you get in !?" asked the bald headed man. The huge vein on his head pulsated and the intersecting scar on his left cheek scrunched up, as he got more livid. The man in black stared at him.

"Securities tight, I'll admit…" he smirked, "and slow…" his words were on fire again, they always were it seemed, a cold fire, if there were such.

"You Dark Council members sure do talk a lot. Lets stop that…permanently," the bald headed guy smirked in return.

"Councils?" was all the girl could say, her hair seemed look different.

"Join the Light Council…" the bald man suggested.

"I don't understand," the girl replied.

"Why should she?" the man in black responded, he stared at the girl between him and the bald guy.

"BECAUSE, we are the BEST…COMPLETE power! And mostly…" the room flashed back for a second, no one seemed to notice, "we-ah!" blood dripped down his mouth, he was at complete loss of words, the man in black had inserted his sword an inch away from the mans sword.

"You Light Council members talk to much…lets stop that…permanently," he had went from one point to another in few seconds, only sign of his transport was the gust of wind he had left behind. He pulled his sword out of his body and got off he one knee, the girl crossed her arms as he passed her, "lets go…" he said edgily.

"Y-you…" she stuttered.

"He's not going to die that easily, we must leave before" the man in black was cut off by a knock at the door, "damn," His trench coat seemed to be changing as well. Behind those doors were the men from before, who arrived off the comet; they had come for the girl.

"I'm guessing there's twenty of them out there," she seemed more at ease.

"Seventy two…to be exact," the man in black corrected her.

"What are those things? Why-" the man in black cut off the girl.

"Those "things," are Light Council members, don't let them, nor me, touch you, or you'll burn," he explained.

"Light? So they're the good-" she was cut off once more by the man in black.

"Take the "light," lightly…they make the devil look like the Easter bunny, as much as I love this chat, we must leave…" the man in black insisted.

"We can't leave the books…" she replied, her voice sounded a bit comical.

"You must be k-" She cut him off this time.

"I'm kidding…"

"Good."

He turned to her, "I can take on twice the amount, problem is-"

"Problem is, watching me at the same time right?" he looked different again.

"That's not what I meant-" his eyes lit up a bit.

"No, prob, I'll just stay behind some shelves," she attempted to walk away, but the man in black had something to say.

"Stay behind the books that label this world."

"Fiction?" she answered.

"Exactly…" he turned around and looked at her before she left.

"We're coming in Mange!" a voice called from outside.

"You've finally chosen a hair style, good choice, the outfit though…" Mange replied while looking at the girl.

"I felt like my hair was changing…I didn't think it was though, how?" she replied.

"Your entering a new world, enter in style," Mange turned back to the door.

"KNOCK! KNOWCK!" the voices called again.

"NOW HIDE!" Mange ordered.

The doors flung, the expected dozens of men, were not there, they had disappeared, Mange looked at the door in curiosity.

"Trying to play tricks on me…try harder." Mange whispered.

"It's so quiet," the girl said to herself quietly behind a shelf.

"You know something guys…" Mange pulled guns from under his trench coat, the girl wondered who he was talking to, "…considering that you guys don't even have to breath…" he spun around, guns loaded, "…you sure suck at sneaking up on someone."

"GET HIM!" a voice called out in the darkness.

Dozens of men in white jumped out from the darkness of the library, Mange aimed his gun out the man who leaped at him in front first, "Also, what the hell are you doin at a library?" he emptied thousands of clips at the darkness, "I mean, you bastards can't even read…" he paced around the room halfway shooting everything that moved, he jumped into the air and somersaulted across the floor, shooting three men. One of them dropped their anchor like weapons on the floor as Mange dived below and shot him in the stomach. Mange moved around the room once more, he had multiplied himself three times, causing more carnage. Blood dripped everywhere, as he seemed to be invisible. All silence covered the room, as the bodies disappeared into nothing.

"Let's go…" Mange commanded.

"They're disappearing…" the girl came out from behind the shelf labeled "fiction."

"They'll be back…we have to jump through the window."

"What!?" she responded to that hostile command in astonishment.

"The building is packed…" Mange said calmly and irritated.

After jumping out the window, they had both landed safely. Their backs turned to the parking lot, in front of them the entrance.

"I didn't feel a thing…" the girl commented after hitting the ground painlessly.

"Your powers are kicking in, good…" Mange got off his one knee, his sword shining in the moonlight, the girl turned around, she stared at the parking lot.

"Um…Mange?" she said as she stared behind Mange.

"What?" Mange turned around slowly facing the parking lot and seeing what the girl sees.

"You're apart of a Council right?" she asked nervously.

"Yeah…"Mange replied.

"Well where are they!?" she demanded, in front of them were hundreds of Light Council members, grins on their faces, a few seconds later, huge light emitted from behind them, they both turned around, eight individuals stood behind them, behind those eight was a huge portal. The man in the center walked forward one step, his shades shined, his hair waving in the wind.

"You called?" he asked arms crossed.
