Fallen Stars

Get out of the car.

At the top of the hill.

The end of the road.

In the darkness,

I'll scream out

Out to the city

Without a star in the sky.

The stars died away.

Night after night.

They cried in sorrow.

As they fell straight down.

They cried, and cried.

No one heard them.

So no one will hear this

Shattered scream,

That burns my throat.

Won't you scream out,

So I can find you?

Scream...So I can...

Find the fallen stars

That surround you.

They felt your sorrow,

They felt your pain.

Get back in the car.

I'll drive on through

The night.

So I can get to you,

And your fallen stars.
