There you go again,

staring up at me

with those round crystal eyes.

Your mouth is claiming that you are alright,

when your eyes are screaming

at me to hold you tight.

Your eyes don't hide a thing;

especially from me.

Your eyes are rimmed with tears,

I know I said something wrong,

Please tell me,

don't let your eyes

do the talking this time.
