A/N: Ok...I had a fic here called "Fated Darkness (iono title suggestions accepted!!!)". This fanfic is supposed to be a remake of it. Kinda the same but different plot intended and changed hella crap and yeah...ok...so whatever...

Anyway, I really didn't take anything from other existing stuff, but some of this prologue and more stuff throughout the story may seem familiar cause I used a bit of everything for inspiration.

Prologue - Dawn of Darkness

In this world, you were either an ordinary person, or a spellcaster. The humans were divided into these two groups. What started this separation was the massive unnamed war long ago. Hundreds of years ago, there were many Sorcerers who walked the world. Sorcerers were often very vile and possessed great power. These men and women were feared upon. They soon started leading their own armies against each other and destroyed many cities and villages. That was when a group of non-magical people lead a rebellion against the Sorcerers. They called themselves the Magister Rebellion. Then after a few years of battles lead against the Sorcerers, a smaller division of the rebellion, a group of fighters who called themselves the Dragon Knights, formed and finished off the Sorcerers. They killed every Sorcerer left and when they believed to have killed the last one, the war ended.

However, the harsh rule of the Sorcerers created a sort of hatred between the normal humans and the spellcasters. With the Dragon Knights protecting them, the people lived without warfare with the spellcasters until now.

There was word that two Sorceresses existed. Their intentions were unknown but the Dragon Knights wanted them gone. But there was this strange organization they had to worry about also. This group called themselves "Oracle" and what they wanted was to revive Sorcery. Their tie to the newly discovered Sorceresses wasn't known or even confirmed of yet, but they were a threat. Their true intentions were also unknown. But being made up of scientists, they had the best of technology and were extremely elusive.

Somehow an ordinary boy gets himself involved in all this. He doesn't want to be involved but he doesn't have a choice in the matter. His adventure to stop whatever the true threat is starts and his eyes get opened to the harsh reality his home sheltered him from. A key is needed...

A/N: Ok, just the prologue...not getting to the real plot yet! More like a boring history lesson, but anyway just read the next chapter to get to the real plot. Erm review it pretty please! And err...just a heads up...some things may seem familiar ok? Just wanna clear up that I didn't take anything unless I said so...just a little inspiration...or it could've just been a coincidence!
