Ok, this is a tri-authored fic. This is based on characters in our life, so just give it a chance. You'll catch on very quickly. The authors are DarkerImage, Condayen, and dudekiller. We try to update as soon as possible, and the more you review, the sooner we update.

 

The Awakening Part IV

"I have no idea." Hannah replied. "Who was she?"

 

"Well, she's gone now." Stacy replied. "Something weird definitely is going on. Is anything going to happen to anyone else?"

Emali blinked herself into consciousness. She propped herself up onto her elbows easily.

 

"What's going on?" She asked.

 

"Please, lie down. You've been unconscious for 11 days." A nurse said.

 

"WHAT?" Emali shouted. She got up in one swift motion and started walking toward the nurse with ease. "What do you mean I've been unconscious for 11 days!?!!!??" Emali shouted at the nurse. She looked horrified.

 

"I-It's impossible! You've be-been u-unconscious for 11 days! You can't be a-able t-to get up, let alone walk around the room!" the nurse stammered fearfully, her eyes wide.

 

"The explosion should have you still-" By then Emali wasn't listening. She thought back to the explosion.

 

~*Flashback*~

"Master, you have some visitors." the guide said. The professor turned around and his eyes widened. He threw up his arms, and some light appeared. The explosion from his experiment went around the light. The force threw the guide somewhere. "LOOK OUT!" Josh shouted. I started to run backwards. Katie got hit with the chemicals first, on her face. She was about to scream but fell unconscious. I turned around was about to duck, but the chemicals splashed onto my arms. I screamed in anguish and slipped into darkness.

~*End flashback*~

 

"It just can't be possible!" The nurse shouted. She was still rambling on about something I paid no attention to.

 

"SHUT UP!" I shouted as loud as I could to her. She finally shut up. "Now, tell me what is going on here." I asked her calmly. She took a minute to get over her shock.

 

"Ok. Well, the explosion happened, we don't know much about that." the nurse began.

"Yeah, yeah, we know about that. What happened after you put us in the hospital?" Emali asked, getting irritated.

 

"Well, we couldn't find out about anything. You all were still the same, but with red marks wherever you were hit. It seems the chemicals were absorbed into your skin. This is a completely new discovery. There were reporters crowded around the hospital, but they all left after a week. That was about when Sarah woke up-"

 

"Who's awake?"

 

"Sarah, Stacy, Jackie, Hannah, and you."

 

"How long before the rest wake up?"

 

"We don't know."

 

"Do you have any clue?"

 

"No."

 

"Do you know anything about the experiment?"

 

"No."

 

"Do you know where the Professor is?"

 

"No.

 

"Do you know anything?"

 

"No."

 

"You're useless." Emali walked out of the room, and went into the lobby area of the quarantine. Hmmm? Maybe I should check this door. Emali opened the door to the right of her bedroom. Inside were Jake and Josh sitting on the bed across from each other. Jake has spiked hair, how he keeps it that way I have no idea, with dark blue tips. The rest of his hair is pitch black. He is about 5 foot 9, the last time he checked, and he also has a tongue piercing. Much against my arguing, why he wanted it I have no idea. Josh was about 6 foot 1, with blonde hair. It lay flat on his head. He has no jewelry, or hair dyes. He's naturally tan. He has a red mark on the back of his right hand, while Jake has a mark across his forehead. Must be from the chemicals. I have two marks around my arms.

Emali left the room, and with into the door on the left of her bedroom. In this bedroom were Katie and Emily. Emily was short, about 5 feet, and had her light brown hair up in a ponytail. Like mine. She had her glasses on her nightstand. She was semi-pale from reading so many books. No wonder she gets a 100 on every test. I wonder why she went on this extra credit assignment? Damn over achiever. On the other side of the room was Katie. She had her hair at shoulder length. She had two pairs of earrings in each ear. Her hair was slightly darker than Emily's was. She was about 5 foot 6, and she had a light tan. I thought she would get a darker tan than that for being at the beach with Jake all weekend. Oh well. Time for some more exploring. The nurses must be on break; I didn't see anyone in either room. Emali walked in on a door further left. Inside Stacy and Hannah were talking. Hannah was tall; about 6 feet, and had her dark brown hair a bit longer than her shoulders. She had two small hoops pierced in each ear. Stacy is shorter than Hannah, about 5 foot 8, has blonde shoulder length hair, (How many girls have shoulder length hair?) and no piercing in either ear. "Ok, so Sarah had some sort of force field and she healed at a miraculous rate. Jackie woke up floating 5 feet in the air. You became invisible or something, and I had like a clone. That's everything that's happened so far." Hannah said to Stacy.

 

"Hey." I said. They jumped. Apparently they didn't hear me come in.

 

"Hey Emali. When did you get up?" Stacy asked.

 

"About 2 minutes ago. It was really weird. I got up and the nurse was shouting something about me not supposed to be up."

 

"You woke up 2 minutes ago? Then of course you shouldn't be up! You were unconscious for over a week! I woke up 2 days ago and I'm barely able to sit up!" Hannah shouted.

 

"Well, I guess that's another thing we can add to the list." Stacy said.

 

"What list?" Emali asked.

 

"The list of weird things that happened. One of the nurses even quit." Stacy replied calmly. "So what should we catalogue you under?" Stacy had this amazing ability to stay calm when she was in shock, but not extreme shock. "Maybe miraculous healing like Sarah?"

 

"No, otherwise she'd have been up sooner. Let's see. She just suddenly got up and had the strength to move around, right?"

 

"So, strength?" Stacy asked. "Kind of odd category, but ok?"

 

"Hey, I have an idea. Since I'm the only one up, you two can't see Sarah and Jackie, right? So, why don't we all meet in the lobby? I could support you guys. I've never felt better then now." Emali suggested.

"Ok, so that's everyone who's awake." Emali said. Sarah, Jackie, Stacy, and Hannah were all sitting in chairs in the lobby. "Ok, so does anyone know what's really going on?"

 

"Apparently not. Something weird is definitely going on. I mean, this is just…not normal." Jackie said.

 

"That's it!" Sarah shouted. "The accident! That's when it all started! It caused us all to fall unconscious. My guess is that if we didn't fall unconscious, this would have all happened sooner!"

 

"Of course! It was so obvious. I don't know why I didn't think of that." Hannah said. All five went on talking about the incidents, and if anything else would happen.

Henna opened her eyes. "Hey Emali."

 

"Henna! You're awake! Finally." Emali said.

 

"What do you mean finally? How long have I been asleep?"

 

"12 days. We were all knocked unconscious after the explosion."

 

~*Flashback*~

"Master, you have some visitors." the guide said. Something exploded, and I was about to turn around, but something hit me just below my shoulders, and I passed out.

~*End flashback*~

"What happened at the explosion? All I remember is the guide getting the Professor's attention, something exploded, and then I passed out." Henna asked.

"Ok, well, the Professor was working on an experiment or something. When his attention got diverted, it exploded. We all got hit and were knocked unconscious. The guide was killed, and the Professor ran away. We don't know where he is right now." Emali explained. "Anyway, to your question, Sarah had a force field and healed miraculously, Jackie woke up five feet in the air, Stacy went invisible, Hannah had a clone, and I could get up and walk around after being awake for 20 seconds." Henna's eyes got wider as she explained each thing. "We-well, I think something is going to happen to all of us. Has anything happened to you?"

"Nothing that I know of?"
