The Titans watched as the smoke cleared. They saw a figure standing in the smoke. Finally they saw who it was. Serpentarius stood holding his bleeding face.
“You bastard! This isn't over. We'll be back,” Serpentarius said.
Leo heaved Hydra over her shoulder and followed Serpentarius. Everyone breathed a sigh of relief. Devin suddenly collapsed onto Raven's shoulder.
“Devin!” Raven shouted.
Devin grimaced, “I'll be okay. Go check on Robin and Draco.”
Devin began leaning against Cyborg. Raven rushed over to Draco and Robin. She healed Robin but he was unconscious. She walked over to Draco and tried healing him. No matter what she did his wounds wouldn't heal. Lupus and Tigris stood and limped over to Draco. Lupus placed his hand on Draco's chest then shook his head.
“And so a hero falls,” Devin said.
Everyone looked at him. Lupus picked up Draco's body. Everyone went to the infirmary. There they placed Draco, Devin, and Robin on tables. Cyborg ran a diagnostic on all three.
“Devin should be fine in a couple days. Robin I'm not so sure about. Draco. Well he's,” Cyborg looked away.
“Don't worry about it,” Tigris said with a fake smile, “We've lost him before.”
“How can you act to calm? He's was the strongest,” Beast boy asked confused.
Lupus started laughing, “I'm sorry it's just that. Draco wasn't the strongest of us. I am.”
“Hey guys,” Devin said trying to sit up, “Draco said something to us.”
“What?” Lupus asked walking toward Devin.
“Corvus and Phoenix,” with that Devin fell unconscious.
“Corvus and Phoenix? That doesn't make any sense. Why would Draco mention Determination and Love? Think he wants us to bring them to earth?” Lupus asked.
“Maybe,” Tigris murmured.
“What are you guys talking about?” Raven asked.
“Do you think we're the only virtues? Let's go to their Terrestrial points. Do you guys have a plane or something?”
A huge smile crossed Cyborg's face. The Titans, along with Lupus and Tigris carried Robin, Draco, and Devin to the T-ship.
After several minutes Cybrog asked, “What exactly are we looking for?”
“I'll let you know when we need to land. We're going for Corvus first. As long as Devin hasn't passed on we'll be able to bring him back,” Lupus said.
Devin opened his eyes and found himself in a white void.
“What the hell! Where am I?” he shouted.
He looked around then picked a direction and started walking. After nearly half an hour he stopped and growled.
“Does this thing ever end!” he shouted.
“Nope,” a voice behind him said, “Not until you're brought back to life or move on.”
Devin turned and saw Draco standing there.
“So we're dead?”
“Yep. But don't worry. If Lupus is doing what I think he's doing then it shouldn't be too long.”
“Till what?”
“Till Corvus' zenith. Then you'll come back to life, only stronger. Not much longer after that is my zenith. Then Phoenix's zenith. But one may be a problem though.”
“Why's that?”
“I would have been here when you woke up but I had some trouble finding Robin. I think he may be stuck in some kind of hellish Limbo, brought about by the Hate that's in him.”
“So what happens if we can't find him?”
“He'll come back but there's no guarantee that he'll be Phoenix, at least not the Phoenix we need.”
“I think you'd better explain this a bit more.”
“Okay. There's a temple. I knew at one point but I forgot a while ago. Anyway. On the walls there are pictures of the battle between the Sins, and the Virtues. Buried deep within is the story of the birth of both sides. But there is a secret chamber where there is a prophecy. That when the Virtues fall two will rise to destroy the Sins. I believe that those two are you and Robin.”
“Why us?”
“Because your shadow form. Instead of being a crow you simply have a pair of wings. Robin because he's the only one of you that doesn't have a power.”
“Oh. So how are we supposed to find Robin?”
“That's just it. To find him may take longer then we have. If I'm not brought back by my Zenith you'll have to wait 50 years for my next one. Yours I'm not sure. It could be 500 years from this one or it could be a week or the next day. There's no way of telling so we have to bring you back this time.”
“Well let's go try and find Robin.”
“All right, hold on.”
Draco and Devin disappeared from the void and appeared in another. They saw nothing amongst the white. They disappeared again and again each time finding nothing, or not what they were looking for.
The Titans landed. Cyborg carried Devin's body into the circle of stones. Beast boy stared at the rocks then it came to him where he'd seen them before.
“This is Stone Henge!” he shouted.
Lupus looked at him, “Yeah. Corvus' terrestrial point.”
Lupus looked up at the stars and stared for several minutes. He narrowed his eyes then looked at Devin's body lying in the middle of the circle.
“It'll be a few minutes then we'll see some fireworks,” Lupus said.
“So how does this all work?” Raven asked sitting down next to Devin's body.
