A dark figure walked down the sidewalk taking great care to stay in the shadows. As he walked rain started to fall. The figure pulled a hood up to cover his head. He walked past a bank and saw that the door had been opened forcefully. A smile crossed his face as his body turned solid black and melted into the shadow he was standing in.
The three men inside were rushing around gathering as much cash as they could. They were so preoccupied with there task that they didn't see the black figure rise from the shadow of the vault door.
“Let's go the Titans might be here any minute. I'd rather not be here when they are,” the leader said.
These “Titans” sound like they could put up a good fight. I just might have to keep these idiots around, the figure thought.
The three men started to walk toward the door, when a cold dark voice behind them said, “Were are you going? the funs just started.” The figure walked out of the shadows and confronted the three.
The leader laughed pulled out a gun and said, “You should have kept quite. Now you have to die.”
He threw his head back laughing. The robbers were so dumbfounded that they didn't see the black tentacles slithering across the floor.
“What the hell!” one of the thieves shouted.
the tentacles had wrapped around their arms and legs and lifted them into the air.
“You know, I enjoy fighting worms like you. It let's me be as brutal as I want,” he said
with a sinister smile.
His eyes began glowing red as he held his hand out in front of him. the robbers screamed in pain. There was a flash of lightning and all three dropped. There blood pooled around the shreds of there bodies.
The figure walked over and took the bags, melted into the shadows and appeared in the vault. He dropped the bags and melted back out. He then walked back over to the bodies, touched the blood and drew a symbol on the floor with it. when he was finished he walked out and continued walking down the street.
