[ P - Pre-Teen ]

"Ahh!" cried Rei.
"This isn't good," cried Lyrea as a strange creature of flames approached
them, "Let's get outta here before this demon dude flames us!"
As the fiery Demon approached them, an outburst of flames erupted from the
ground. Using the flames as a distraction, the Demon pounced into the air
and hitting...

"Ahh!" shouted Lyrea as she woke up from the horrible nightmare. "It was
just a dream..." she told herself. "But, The heat felt so... real." she said
as she noticed that she was heavly sweating.
3 blocks over young Rei had also woken up from the dream. He too was
sweating, even more so then Lyrea was. Both of them took the dream as
only the effect of the major heat, as it was summer in the town
of Ashgan.

The bell was rung for class to start at Montezuma high school, and
students rushed to class. In room 11B many students were very late,
but that was not a problem, as the teacher usually did not arrive
until 25 minutes after the bell. First to enter the classroom was
12 year old prodigy, Rei. He had brown eyes, and mangled black
hair, and was wearing his usual of long black trousers and a
yellow t-shirt.
Next to enter the classroom was 13 year old, Yulaw. His spiked
blonde hair, and dark blue eyes gave him a strange, powerful aura,
and his outfit of a black t-shirt with a brown leather jacket to
cover, and a pair dark blue trousers and a black belt only added
the Aura.
The third person was 13 year old Erika, a blonde haired, blue
eyed girl wearing a female sailor uniform, with a white sailor
hat to match.
The last person was none other then 12 year old Lyrea, who
entered the classroom kicking a soccerball around. This
tomboy had brown eyes & brown hair, and wore only an old
soccer shirt, and white shorts.
After school, the group meet together outside the gym. This
group was only together because of Rei befriending Yulaw,
and Erika trying to make Lyrea act more like a girl. Lyrea
& Rei played a soccer match together (which ended in a draw) and
becoming friends after the match.
After a short conversation about todays schoolwork, the group split
up, and each member went to a different place. Rei headed to the
forest to explore, while Lyrea went to soccer practice. Erika headed
towards the mall, while Yulaw went straight home to study.

Back at the forest, Rei was searching the bushes, hoping to find
something, but he found nothing. After exploring the forest for around
an hour, Rei found a large hole, with a large rock with ancient
carvings on it. Rei thought it might have been some interest to his
group, so he covered the hole up, and marked the area.

"Hey! You there?" said Rei through the telephone to Yulaw.
"Yeah, I'm listening." replied Yulaw.
Rei explained what he found to Yulaw, and then rang up Lyrea
and Erika to explain what he found as well. The group planed to meet
at the forest, 15 minutes later.

20 minutes later, at the site of the mysterious hole, Rei showed the
group the hole. A strange thing was that were there had once been nothing
on the stone there was 4 hand marks, 1 on each corner.
"Hey guys," said Lyrea, "How about we try a move this oversized rocks
with these hand prints. They all placed their rights hands on the rock,
and pushed towards the center. As if magic the rock slid out, and
revealed a hole leading towards a dark dungeon.
The group entered the dark cavern, a strange feeling came over each
one of them.
For Rei, he had suddenly felt much colder, but for Lyrea the atmosphere
felt hot. Yulaw thought the air felt stale, unpure, and without
movement, whilst Erika felt as if there was a gale inside the cavern.
After a short exploration of the cave, Lyrea found a small hole,
just big enough for each member of the group to crawl through. At
the end of the hole they found a spring with 4 rocks with an
elemental symbol carved into each one.
"This is strange..." said Rei.
"Why?," asked Yulaw, "What is strange about spring under the ground?"
Rei replied with: "There is no rivers or lakes near, and with a spring
underground, the forest wouldn't be dead..."
"Good point, it doesn't taste like water!" said Lyrea who had just
drunken a handeful of the water.
"I don't think that's safe to drink, Lyrea." said Erika.

"It's perfectly fine to drink," said a voice from the spring,
"It is an energy pool, were I, the Soul Tetra dwell."
"Soul Tetra?" said a pale Rei.
"I mean no harm, Tetra Masters," said the voice, as a large
angelic figure rose from the spring and hovered in front
of them, "You are magical beings, who will save this world from
the plight of darker Tetras."
The Soul Tetra spoke again with: "Young Rei, touch the rock with
the water symbol, Valiant Yulaw, touch the rock with the earth symbol."
Rei and Yulaw both obeyed her, and as they touched the rocks they
both started to glow.
"Lyrea, you must touch the rock with the fire symbol, and Erika
must touch the remaining rock, with the symbol of wind." said
the Soul Tetra, and bout girls also obeyed."
As all 4 of the group had put their hand on the rocks, a strange
light came from the spring, and the group began to glow...
