So now, in the words of Mickey Mouse, "On with the show!" (BTW, I do NOT own him either.)
Author's Line... Meanwhile, in Gi's Room...
Gi was at her desk, writing in her journal. She had been thinking about the events that had happened over the past few days, and... other things.
Namely, the love letter she received a few days ago.
Since just thinking about it made her blush, she put it in her desk drawer.
Especially since she didn't think that anyone would see her in that light, much less... him.
She had just finally realized that she had been falling for him over the years, but it was only after this last assignment that caused her to see him in a new way. Especially since they almost lost him... forever.
'I don't know what could have possessed him to do that. He could have just saved himself instead of...'
'Why does he think our lives are more precious than his own?' She thought.
But, she already knew the answer. Or more correctly, her heart knew the answer. It was his nature. She thought about his personality, his attitude, everything that made him so... noble.
She also thought about the way he smiled. That is, when he smiled a real smile, rather than the ones he usually wore. Particularly those smiles that made his golden topaz eyes light up so brilliantly. This caused her to smile.
But it was just so much more than that. It was that... something... that always reflected itself in his caring nature.
She sighed. He probably saw her as a dear friend, and little more. And even IF there was something there, she wouldn't force the issue. Not until she knew he was ready.
Sighing, she put her journal away, and went to bed.
The last thing she did was look at his picture and say, "I love you."
Actually, she looked at two pictures. One of them was his. The other picture was of them holding each other quietly after a successful assigment was completed.
Meanwhile, a certain entity had seen all of this with great interest.
"This looks rather interesting." She said, then left with a rather mysterious-looking smile on her face.
