"I've been watching you Dimitri."

Dimitri found himself floating in the middle of the sky. The city was right below him. It was in the middle of the day, the sun was shining and the Titan Tower could be seen in the background. Below his feet, cars were driving and people were walking.

"You have finally matured, just like your sister. You may have took longer but you finally matured. You are not so usless after all, my son."

Dimitri turned around and saw a figure walk toward him. The man had long white hair and wore a ceremonial robe.

"Who are you?" said Crow.

"Please, call me dad." said the figure.

"Trigon." said Dimitri angrilly.

"Correct Dimitri." said Trigon.

"You did put up a valiant fight against Slade. He's not a person who takes defeat easily." He turned around to stare at the skyline. "He will become useful to me in the future." He started to laugh.

"What's so funny?" said Dimitri, clenching his fist.

Trigon turned around and looked at his son.

"Don't you find it funny that the very same person who killed me made me more powerful than I could ever imagine?"

Trigon saw his fist shaking at his side.

"Why are you angry Dimitri? Aren't you glad to see your father?" said Trigon.

"You're not my father. You're nothing but a heartless monster." replied Dimitri.

"I'm not a monster Dimitri. I am a peacemaker."

"You liar, you killed innocent people who done nothing wrong for your sick obsessions." said Dimitri.

"No one in this world is innocent Dimitri." Trigon walked toward Dimitri and looked at him in the face.

"Do you know why you and your sister exist." said Trigon.

"You created us to be tools for your sick plans." said Dimitri, looking back at his fathers eyes.

Trigon turned around and stared off to the sky.

"For ten thousand years, I have witnessed this world from Azerath. And everytime I looked at it, I was disgusted at what I saw. Struggle after struggle. Conflict after meaningless conflict. Every Human had the same sick obsession to conquer the world and rule everything. All conflicts that were fought promised peace and prosperity and were fought in the name of good but all it brought was death and misery to all. Humanity committed the original sin."

"What was that?" asked Dimitri.

Trigon looked back.

"Humans thought they could control something that cannot be controlled. And as the meaningless struggles continued, the world suffered from humans. I could no longer stand idlely by and watch humans poison this world. I created the two children, the supreme beings from Azerath, to purge the world from the original sin and bring it peace from humanity."

"I don't want that kind of world." said Dimitri. "Neither does she."

"You both don't have a choice." said Trigon. "You will both fufill your destiny."

"I am what I choose to be. I'm no weapon. Neither is she, you sorry bastard." said Dimitri, ready to fight him.

Trigon walked toward Dimitri.

"You will come to know your purpose, my son."

Suddenly, He started to feel something change. He looked at his jewel and it was now being covered with symbols that glowed red. He lifted up his shirt to find the symbols covering his whole body. It felt as if his body was burning from the inside out.

"WHA.....WHATS......HAPPENING TO ME?!?!?!" screamed Dimitri.

Trigon laughed as the world around him started to change.

"The message has been delivered."

He dissapeared as the world gave in to a new darkness. Dimitri crawled around and now witnessed the future. The sky was blood red. The buildings were twisted and burnt. The sparkling blue ocean was replaced with a lake of fire. In the streets, people were running for their lives.

Some were praying for salvation and some were crying. Lost children being trampled in the chaos. Above them, hovering in the distance, was a shillouete of a woman with symbols covering her body, glowing red. She glared down upon the frightened people with her 4 red eyes. Suddenly, the sky rained with black needles and pierced the people on the ground, killing many. They all started running away from the woman, but then, a shillouete appeared in front of them. A man, covered in the same symbol's with 4 red eyes staring back at the suffering people. He raised his right hand and within an instant, A red flash enveloped all of the people, and the screaming stopped.

When everything settled, the people were carbonized in the spot where they stood like as if they experienced the heat of one thousand suns. Their suffering was over.

Suddenly, a red giant beast appeared and destroyed everything in his sight. The beast had long white hair and the same 4 red eyes as his children.

"NO.....NOOO....NOOOO.......THIS....CAN'T...BE."

In the back of his head, he heard a bell toll. Everything went silent.

"I'LL KILL YOU..........I'LL KILL YOU....."

T he Titans sat in the front room. Staring off at whatever they could to get their mind off of what happened today.

"The Emergency Broadcast System is in effect for the greater Jump City area. Citizen's are asked not to go near the Epic Center disaster area. If you live near the area, Officials advise you to put wet cloths on your windows to deter dust or anything that might cause respitory problems. Police has said that terroism was involved but they do not fear anymore attacks. Citizens are advised to keep calm. Shelters and Red Cross assistance is avai<CLICK>"

Cyborg sighed and crossed his arms.

"Well, did we win or did we lose?"

The rest just stood silent.

"Well, we're all alive aren't we?" said Beast Boy.

Robin kept standing there, not saying a thing. He knew the Titans would get some sort of backlash from the public from the destruction of the Epic Center Building. He glanced at the clock. It was about 1:57 AM.

"Starfire, Go and check on Crow and Raven." commanded Robin.

Starfire was visably tired but nodded and floated to the infirmary. Once she got there, she check on Raven, who suffered the worst between the two. The monitors reported pulse and brain activity to be normal. She got to Dimitri and saw his monitors reporting the same condition. She began to leave the room but as she did, she heard one of the monitors going off.

She floated back to Dimitri's bedside and the Monitor's flashed red. His heart rate was rising dramatically. Suddenly his breathing started to get more rapid and he started to twitch and convulse. Dimitri's whole body was starting to glow with symbol's and his hair was growing longer instantly.

"SOMEONE PLEASE COME HERE QUICKLY." She yelled.

Suddenly, Dimitri sat up and looked at Starfire with 4 red eyes.

"I'll KILL YOU!"

He reached and grabbed Starfire's neck so she wouldn't scream. Then he jumped out of the bed, disconnecting all of the monitoring systems which now gave out a loud warning. He pinned her to the ground and kept on choking her as she tried to escape. He eyes were starting to roll in the back of her head. His face told her that he enjoyed every second of it.

In the back of his head, the bell stoped tolling and his father's voice was starting to fade away. The symbols started to dissapear and his eye's retained it's original form. The rest of the Titan's rushed in the room and were shocked at what they saw.

As he was begining to realize what he has done, Dimitri looked down and saw her eyes as it started to flash green. Suddenly, A powerful blast shot painfully in his face and knocked him back a couple of feet. He then crawled to a corner and Starfire started to move towards Robin, coughing while trying to regain some air as a tear ran down her face. He immediatly ran toward her and picked her up.

"WHAT DID YOU DO TO HER CROW?!?" yelled Robin, looking for some answers.

"I....I'm sorry" said Dimitri as he curled up in the corner.

"ANSWER ME!" said Robin with unbelievable anger in his eyes

"I SAID I WAS SORRY!" Yelled Dimitri, wanting to be alone.

Cyborg immediately walked into the room and looked at what was happening. He then turned around and looked at the rest of the group.

"All of you leave, we need to talk."

Robin just stood there with Starfire.

"WHY ARE YOU TAKING SIDES WITH THIS MANIAC?" screamed Beast Boy.

"He's not a maniac B.B."

Robin interrupted.

"LOOK WHAT HE DID TO RAVEN. AND NOW HE'S TRYING TO KILL STARFIRE?"

"What makes you think you know what would drive this man to hurt his own sister? For all we know she'd be dead without him and you know it."

Robin stood there looking back at Cyborg.

"I know this guy better than any of you. Let me talk to him."

Robin just shook his head and left along with Starfire and Beast Boy.

Cyborg walked toward Dimitri as he sat there motionless.

"Dimitri. What happened?"

Dimitri just looked at him.

"I had a dream."

"What sort of dream?"

Dimitri started to point to his sister, still laying on the infirmary bed.

"I finally saw why she ran, I saw why she feared herself. I never knew. I could never imagine...." He started to shutter at the thought of his dream. Cyborg knew that his friend had never been so scared in his life.

"Dimitri, it's over now. Get a hold of yourself."

"NO, YOU'RE WRONG. YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT I'M CAPABLE OF!"

"CALM DOWN DIMITRI." yelled Cyborg.

Dimitri immediatly went silent. knowing that his complaints were not going to help him.

"Listen Dimitri, I don't know what you saw in your dream or what you are capable of. The only thing that I know for a fact is that your sister has never been happier in all of her life. She was never this excited about anything before you came in and now look at her. I always see a smile on her face. That's something that never happened before."

Dimitri started to look at his sister.

"She probably knows the same thing you know about yourself now. But you think that is going to make her regret it all of her life? She knows that she can become whatever she chooses to be and nothing in this world can change that."

Cyborg looked down at Dimitri.

"You were the one who taught her that Dimitri, You were the greatest thing that ever happened to her. That's something to live for."

Dimitri stood up and walked to his sister's bedside. He started to grasp her hand.

"I'll never let anyone hurt you again."

"I can't stand the thought of losing you."

Dimitri looked back at Cyborg, still standing there.

"Cy, Thanks."

Cyborg looked back with a smile on his face.

"Hey? What are friends for?"

Dimitri started to rub on his sister's hands.

"I know why you ran." he said. "You needed to find yourself. And you did."

He put her arm down and stood up.

"Now it's my turn."

Cyborg turned his head in shock.

"WHAT? YOU'RE LEAVING?"

Dimitri went for the closet in the far corner of the room and grabbed his shirt and trenchcoat. He then reached into his pocket and threw 4 crumpled up hundred dollar bills on the empty bed.

"Her birthday is coming up soon. Be sure to throw her a party. But don't tell her that I had anything to do with it."

"Hey wait man, where you going?" said Cyborg.

"I don't know."

"Are you coming back?"

"Maybe"

Cyborg looked annoyed.

"What am I supposed to tell her when she wakes up?"

"Tell her that I love her more than she could ever imagine. And that I'll will always think of her."

Dimitri looked at Cyborg.

"Take care of her for me."

Cyborg grabbed the crumpled up bills on the bed.

"Sure man."

Dimitri turned around and looked out the window. Then his body turned into a black mass and went through the window and dissapeared. He was gone.

As Cyborg watched this he noticed something. He saw two picture laying on the floor.

When he picked up the photo's and looked at them. One was a picture of Raven and Dimitri, behind a sunset. Both were wearing uniforms and were playing around with the camera. On the back was written "Dimitri and Katrina." The other picture was taken 2 weeks ago, showing the whole team. In the background were Dimitri and Raven standing next to each other.

Cyborg walked toward Ravens bed and sat the photo's side by side to each other on the cabinet next to the bed.

"Your brother says good night, Katrina."

He then turned around and walked out of the room with a smile on his face.
