Yelling

‘Go! Run!’ he says

My mother

My beautiful mother took me into her arms.

Scared to death, almost.

A yell

A dead man on the floor

A brave man on the floor

A man I’m proud to call my father

Then HE walks in

‘No! Leave! Don’t kill him!’ my mother yells

But it is futile

The man cackles

‘No one lives once I decide they have to die’ he says

A piercing scream

A bright green flash

She’s gone

My mother

She died protecting me

Loving me

I lay there

On the floor

Smiling

Not knowing that I’ll kill him

Not knowing that he tried to kill me

Not knowing Voldamort was the most powerful wizard of all time
