My names Jade Huntress and this is my story.Not many people still living know of my past.I
write this for my own sanity.For I fear I am forgeting the things I once held sacred.And now
I must share it.So that past events will not be forgotten.And so that the people will live on
through others.
And thus my story begins........

{Flashback to a time of magic before the Christ Child's birth}
In the small city of Clysandria,that surrounds the Temple of the Phoenixe Goddess all was
quite.For it was well after dark and most had retired for the eve.
The moon is high in the evening sky as young woman hides in the shadows of a temple,breathing
hard from exostion.
"Come out my little Phoenixe,you know you can't hide from me.I have
forever, and you don't." a manculin voice saturates the air.
A tall,well built man appears wearing brown leather pants and a midnight blue poet's shirt.
His dark black hair,blue eyes and pale skin making him look like a painting.
The woman quivers in fear,pulling back into the shadow as far as possible.
Her long waist length,wine colored hair,blew into her face.
"Now this is no way to treat me,Hakari.I just wanted to give you a gift,and what do you?You
tell me you dislike it.Now,now dear girl where are your manners?"
Choking back a sob,Hakari Feng (1),watchs as he nears where she's hiding.Closing her eyes she
slows her breathing.Trying to stay as still as possible.
"Now my sweet one why do you resist me so?I could give you forever." The man says in her ear,his
warm breath making goose bumps appear on her skin.
Swallowing,she turns and looks into his persian blue eye. "I don't want forever.I want you to
leave me,to leave this place and not to return.I will be made Head Priestess on the marrow.I
will take my vows to the Phoenixe Goddess and to the Order of the Phoenixe.And I will not be
tempted by the likes of you." She say furiously.
Chukeling he responds, "Do you even know who I am?Do you know the consequences of your words?"
"I know you are a creature of the darkness,a vampire,That is enough." She answers while
watching him cautiously.
Moving forward he leans down to whisper in her ear again. "I am the darkness that devowers the
light.The destoyer of many lands.I am the shadow that slips through the cracks,and into your
nighmares.I am Draco Karasu,the one who will have you.Wather you want me or not,you will be
mine."
Strugling to keep her mind clear,she trys to call on the diffrent elements of nature to help
her.Only to have him grab her chin,forcing her to meet his eyes. "Do not mess with me young
one.For I am older than even your Phoenixe Goddess,what do you think you will be able to do to
me?" He was bluffing,but she didn't notice that.He could see the power she posessed and wanted
it for himself.To make her his.She stoped her chanting,and took a deep breath.
Sighing she asks him, "Why me?There are other weman that would give anything for a chance at
eternal life."
"You my dear are very special.You are one of the most beautful,intelagent,and powerful weman.
And I would only want the best,would I not?"
Taking her into his arms he kisses her.She trys to pull away,but his hold on her is to strong.
He pushs her up against the wall of the temple using his body to keep her there.
"No!Please don't do this.I don't want this." She pleads with him to stop,but he wouldn't listen
to her.He want's her to much to stop.
Sliping his hands under her red and gold temple robes,he lets his hands gently slid over her
warm skin.
"So very beautful and soft for a mortal." He mutters to himself.
"Please,no." She's crying,but it all falls on deaf ears.
Pushing her robes,he lets them fall to the ground.He looks at her.Taking in the true beauty of
her body.Her golden eyes briming with unshed tears.
"Now,you are truely a goddess fit for only me." He smiles as he strokes her face,wiping a
single tear that had managed to excape. "This wont hurt much if you don't struggle." He says.
He steps away from her,managing to declothe himself in mere seconds.Her to stund to comprehend
that he had let her go,stood there leting the wall support her waight.
He delacatly touched her breasts,leting his hand wonder over her body.She tried to hold back a
moan,but her body betraid her leting it slip out.He continued his journey,exploring every inch
of her body.Her cheeks were crimson when he had finished.He only found her more appealing for
it.
She had all but given up hope of him leting her go.Knowing that no one would save her,for all
the temples inhabatents where asleep.Her very life depended on the fact he could kill her in
an instant.Deciding to let him have what he wanted,she just stoped strugling.
"I knew you would see it my way." He says.Placing his leg between hers,spreading her legs.He
start to rock against her,moaning.Closing his eyes her rest his head on her shoulder,placing
kisses and sucking on her skin,niping every once and awhile.
"Take what you want and leave me to deal with my shame." She tells him.Smirking he lifts her
legs and places them around his waist.
"I have planed so much more than that for you." He says.Lifting her and penatrating her,not
giving her time to think to much about what he said.He stops once he is seated fully in
her leting her ajust.
She lets the tears run freely now,the pain to much for her to take.He rubs small circles on her
lower back,trying to sooth her.
"Sshhh,It will be alright.Give it time,I promise you will enjoy it once the pain is gone."
Slowly moving pumping in and out,waiting for her to start moaning before he spead up.Moaning
and other noises filled the air as the two began to get closer and closer to completion.
She screemed her release, and went limp.Grunting as he came,he bit down on to her neck.Savoring
her rich blood,he drank until she was almost completly drained.Taking his extened canines he
sliced his rist and lifted it to her lips.Opening her glazed eyes,she turned her head away.Not
wanting to be one of his kind.
"I would rather die." She mumbles tiredly.Knowing she would die soon from the blood loss.
"Fine,if that is your choice.Then so be it." He replies,siting her on her feet.Only to have
her callapse.He gethered his clothing and dressed in silence.Glacing at her he frowns.
"Are you sure about your discion?" She nods and lifts her head to look at him.
"Please show me at least some respect and dress me defore you leave me here to die.Let me
keep what pride I have left,so that when they find me they won't find me naked."
He gives into her last request and leaves.Disappearing into the early morning mist.
They had found her the next day alive.The magic in her blood had kept her alive,though
very weak.In the end she had,had to stay bed ridened.For they feared to much stress would do
her in.

{Nine months later}
"It will be alright,don't worry Hakari.The baby is going to live." Vilona Heto,Hakari's oldest
and dearest friend said.Handing the new born baby to Hakari. "What will you name her?" She
asked.
Looking down at the small baby girl she now held,Hakari replied, "I think I will call here
Jade." Vilona looked at her curiosely. "Why?"
"She will lead a hard life,I can feel it.It will leave her jadded and angery with the world."
Said a tired Hakari. "Could you leave me alone with her for awhile?" She looked her friend in
the eyes trying to convey the emotions she was feeling.
Vilona noded and went to the door of the small room they were in,turning to look at her
laying in the bed holding the baby.Noticing how fragile her friend look.
"Let me know if you need me.I will be just outside the door somewhere so I will hear you if
you call to me.....And Hakari I...Your the one of the most important people to me.I..."
She trailed of,her eyes misting over.
Hakari listened to her and smiled. "You are as well,Vilona.Will you promise me something?"
"Anything,just name it." She replid,wiping her eyes.
"That if something should happen to me,you will raise her as one of you own?Along side your
son Kali.Please Vilona it's very important that I know she will be raised well and loved."
Giving Hakari a smile she noded, "I promise you,but it will not be need.You will live and
die of old age.You will get to watch her grow into a lovely young woman.And one day get
to play with grand children."
Humering her,Hakari noded and once again looked at her daughter.She knew she was dieing,her
body couldn't take the strain of child birth and still be able to substain her life.Her
only regret was that she would leave this child motherless.
Vilona left closing the door softly.
Smiling sadly down at the infant.Hakari spoke, "You truly are a child darkness and light,my
precious one.My little Kurai Kaki (2).For you are a dark fire.Oh,Jade what will happen to you
once I'm no longer here?What pairals will be fall you?" Rocking the sleeping child gently.
Looking up she spoke once more,this time not to the child but to some unknowen force, "Please
mother goddess,guide her and watch over her.I would do anything for her.Please fate be kind
and let her live a happy life,for I fear it will be an unpleasont one."
'You would damn your soul for her?' The breeze through the window seems to say.
Looking down at the innocent face,she noded.To whom she wasn't sure.
'All will be well' it said.

And so that was how I came into this world.My mother died soon after that or so I'm told.
I never really knew my mother.All I know of her I read in some scrolls she left me,that told
me most of the event before my birth.Well I was raised by Vilona,just as she promised.But I
grow tired now and must rest,I will write more on this later.The sun is just peaking over the
horizen and the warmth is away so comforting.
