Link approached Ganon and was at level with his head. He stood there for a moment looking into his eyes and then he pulled back his sword, gathering the most amount of energy he ever did into the Master Sword. Link then screamed and twirled around as fast as he could, unleashing a wave of energy along with a devastating sword attack. Link's attack would move the sword across Ganon's neck at incredible speed, passing through it with ease and taking off the head of the tyrant who had been terrorizing Hyrule for so long. The head of the beast would fall back into the lava, which was shortly followed by the rest of its body. Because of Ganon's death, his magic wore off and the 'island' they were on began to fall into the lava and sink slowly. Link grabbed Zelda's hand and rushed towards the edge of the 'island' and leaped off, taking her with him, and landing on a safe place a few feet away from the edge of the lava pit where Ganon would rest eternally. Link stood there, looking into the lava, while Zelda looked at him and smiled.

"You are a hero Link. You are the protector of Hyrule and I thank you for saving this land once again from the forces of evil." Zelda said.

Link turned around and smiled while Zelda put the Ocarina of Time to her mouth and began to play the melody that would set things straight again.

Link woke up in his house that was located in Kokiri Forest with his friends standing around his bed.

"Hey! He's awake!" Said one of his friends.

Link slowly stood up and didn't say a word, instead he would walk outside to the balcony and look up at the sky. The sky was blue and had birds soaring across it like always. Link smiled knowing that he had saved Hyrule once again and that there would finally be some peace…for now.
