The Darkness Within

Shadows are every were and there is always a darkness within every ones soul, at least that is what my friend always said… But you know how those things are you never really believe them until you become the victim or a witness. Well this is my story… I was a victim of the darkness within, but it was not my soul it was my friends, she became possessed, by a demon…

And this is how it began…

It was a nice day, truly beautiful, about mid morning. We were walking to school, talking as usual, she would always talk about what she had planed for us to do after school, and I would always be listening. Commenting when I had a better idea, and as always she would agree… always, always wanting nothing more than to make me happy. It was the middle of October, and that's when the weather begins to get cold. A cold wind started to blow, so I gave her my jacket… and the smile she gave me was wonderful, it made me want to kiss her right there… but where did that feeling come from? I couldn't believe what I was starting to feel for her, we had known each other ever since I could remember.
