Tomomi looked at the boy and smiled. "Hey Sano!"

The boy called Sano had black hair and it was pulled back in a ponytail. Sano then dusted his red hakama then turned his attention to the door. "Seikei hurry up!" Sano shouted

A boy with spiky black hair ran in the house. "Not my fault I can't run as fast as you Oniisan!" Seikei snapped

Sano's eyes narrowed, as walked over to Seikei. "Do you want me to give you a hanaji Seikei?" he asked glaring at his brother.

"Iie…. Oniisan." Seikei said looking at the ground.

"Sano…. What did you find out?" Tomomi asked

Tomoe sat the two teacups on the table and bowed. She closed the door, but secretly sat down to hear the conversation. She wanted to know more about the so-called Christians. Like why did they come to Japan! She sat the tray down and put her ear to the door.

Sano took a sip of the green tea and placed the cup on the table.

"Today, Ichiro-san took an oath this is the whole thing!" Sano said as he reached into the shirt of his hakama and pulled out a scroll. "Read!" he said as he handed it to Tomomi.

Tomomi took the scroll and opened it.

"I hereby promise to deny foreigners all communication, service or friendship that could conceivably promote foreign interests over those of Japan," Tomomi read. "I also promise never to practice the Christian religion. If I fail to uphold these promises, may the gods, the bakufu, and His Excellency the shogun wreak their vengeance upon myself, my family, and my associates." Tomomi finished he put the scroll on the table. "What did he do after that?" He asked

"He had to trample the Christian icon." Sano said

"So if Ichiro-san follows the Christian religion or helps them he'll be killed." Tomomi said

Tomoe gasped. Tomoe looked up to the great Japanese detective! She would be horrified if she saw his head on display.

Seikei then looked at the door.

"Tomoe?" He wondered

Tomomi looked at the door and smiled.

"Come out Tomoe!" He said.

Tomoe opened the door looking at her feet.

"I'm sorry Oniisan it's just………." She trailed off

Tomomi smiled. "It's okay Tomoe! No way Ichiro-san is a kokuzoku of Japan." He said. Tomoe smiled.

Sano then stood up and looked at Seikei.

"We need to get home there might be a omae tonight!" he said

"Right!" Seikei said

"We'll see ya tomorrow Tomomi!" Sano said as he walked out of the house.

~ Next day~

A man pulled a sword out and pointed it at Tomomi's throat.

"Who are you and what's your name?" The man asked

Another man had his sword to Sano's throat.

"My name is Yasunari Tomomi. And this is my sister Yasunari Tomoe." Tomomi said addressing his last name first.

"And my name is Kawabata Sano, and this is my brother Kawabata Seikei." Sano said shooting glares at the strange samurai that confronted them.

"These aren't the ones we're looking for. Keep moving!" A man shouted

Tomomi and Sano released their hands from the hilts of their katana.

"What the hell was that about?" Sano asked

"I don't know… I don't know!" Tomomi said
