As Maeko opened the doors they slowly opened. Prentice sighed and waited. "How long is this going to take?" He asked. "Don't worry Prentice, it will open. Then it was almost open. "I CAN'T TAKE THIS ANYMORE!" He yelled. "shhhh. My father is there." Maeko warned. "Oh yes, uh..sorry." He laughed. When the doors where all the way open, Prentice almost cracked. Maeko giggled alittle at him. "Come on now." She whispered.
They walked down the long way to where King Temima chair was. He was a short fat man, he had a white beard, and he had a very funny hat on. Prentice looked at the man, he could not believe it. "This is the king?" He thought. "This guy looks so funny. He looks like from a story." "Hello, Welcome! Maeko! My sweet daughter! Come here and give your daddy a hug." He smiled. "Father!" Maeko ran to him and hugged him tightly. Prentice watched at them and he started to smile. "Now who is this young man? Your boy friend Maeko?" King Temima joked. Maeko giggled. "No Father, this is Prentice the man you sent for." Maeko told him.
King Temima looked at Prentice, and then smiled. "Well, does the boy speak?" He asked. "Yes father." Maeko stepped on Prentice foot. "Och! Hello King Temima." Prentice bowed to him. "Thank you for coming. This is serious news we must talk about." King Temima told him. Prentice nodded at the king. "Maeko my dear, please get two chairs. Prentice, and you must very tired of walking and standing." King Temima smiled. So Maeko got two chairs; she sat in one and Prentice sat in the other. King Temima sat up, and then cleared his thort. "My dear sweet daughter, Aphrodite was taken away from this evil witch name Hilzarie. The reason she was taken away was Aphrodite has the key to something called the Five Stones, but everyone knows that my other sweet daughter Maeko can track where they are. You see they are hidden in a great place. I just don't know where. Maeko can find them. First you must get these stones before Hilzarie does, then you must save my sweet Aphrodite." King Temima looked very sad, so did Maeko. "I will save her for it's my job." Prentice smiled.
"Prentice you're so nice and kind." Maeko smiled at him. "May I ask some things about you before we move on?" King Temima asked. "You may, I don't mind, King Temima." Prentice told him. "When were you born?" He asked Prentice. "I…uh….don't..remember." Prentice slowly said. "What do you mean you don't remember?" King Temima sound alittle mad. "You see…my past..well I don't remember it well at all." Prentice looked down. "Nothing? You don't remember nothing?" King Temima yelled. "Well one thing." Prentice slowly said. "What is that?" He asked. "I heard of the name Hilzarie.. I think I may know her." "WHAT!" King Temima got very mad. "HOW DO YOU KNOW HER? SHE IS EVIL MY BOY! THEN YOU ARE EVIL!" He yelled. "Father please stop! Prentice is a good boy! I know he is! It just does not remember his past that's all! I trust him. He is such a good, cute, happy, dumb man. He makes me feel safe. So if I feel that I know that father." Maeko told him.
"Very well then, I am sorry I cause so much trouble. Prentice I do trust you, please for give me." King Temima told him. "It's alright. I wish I did know my past, it's just really nerve hitting for me. I wish I new where I came from, or where I was born. Or even what I did two years ago, but I don't. I don't know anything and all I know is I will save your daughter if I have to die." Prentice told him. "Prentice, my boy, I believe you and trust you. What you said proved that I can trust you with a great deal. So you will be the one who saves my daughter, and works with the Four Goddesses." King Temima smiled. "The Four Goddesses? Who are they? No one said I was working with other people." Prentice told him. "Silly! Your working with Five! That counts me too!" Maeko giggled.
King Temima laughed alittle. "Oh Father! Please show Prentice the Four Goddesses! I know their dying to meet him! Maybe Prentice will like to meet them too." Maeko smiled. "I don't…uh…" Prentice stuttered. "Oh come on Prentice we don't have cooties!" Maeko giggled. "It's not that, I just wanted to work alone." Prentice told her. "How mean! You selfish monster!" Maeko yelled. "I am not a selfish monster!" Prentice yelled back. "Are too!" "Are not!" "Are too!" "That's enough! If I wish to have babies for this, then that's who I should have had! Now no more fighting, because that is not what teamwork is! Do you under stand?" King Temima yelled. "Yes, I am sorry father. It will never happen again. I promise." Maeko smiled.
Then King Temima cleared his throat "Now let me bring on the Four Goddesses." "Yippee! Come out! They're so cool!" Maeko cried. Then a door opened and in a line Four girls stood. Prentice had his mouth just open and his eyes blank.
