"Alex, I'm pregnant."
Those words should have filled me with eternal joy. Nothing could surpass the feeling of being a father. When you have the one you love by your side paradise doesn't seem that far away. However, those words, paradise, love, everything that you hold dear can be ripped away from you in one fateful second.
I have been called many things in my life. Demon, wraith, Razriel, Alex...I would have been called a father. Now however, the only name I am called is Monster. Only a God could control life and death. Only a mage of the highest caliber could ever hope to master the arts to raise the dead. Even then, there is a price, there is always a price. The price I pay matter's little. Killing to bring back those that are dear to me, that is something I am willing to do. A demon cannot raise the dead, a Devil has little use to. A father can only do so much to save his child. A husband can only do so much to save his wife. A God, can save everyone.
To bring back those I love I will sacrifice everything. My life, my power, even my soul. I will kill those I once swore to protect so that I may save the one's I love. I will be called a monster for my actions, I will be hunted by those who were once my friends. My fate as well as the fate's of those around me are uncertain. One thing however is guaranteed.
"I will bring her back."
Author's Note: So what do you think of the teaser? Needless to say A LOT is going to happen. Despite the fact that I didn't originally want to write another story I couldn't help myself. Once I wrote the teaser I had sooo many idea's that I couldn't help but write some of them down. So once I get some time I'll try to work on the second story.
