Chapter Ten: Dense Girl, powerful warrior

An Elf with creamy pink skin was setting near the river, kicking her feet back and forth in the water. She had long golden hair

tied back in a pony-tail and bright blue eyes. She was wearing a simple white dress that scooped low to reveal the tops of her large breasts, a green ribbon was wrapped around her slim waist holding it tight to her body. A wooden staff with a glass circle on the end of it sat on the rocks next to her.

She giggled, watching the fish swim back and forth in the water.

"Such beautiful things..." She sighed dreamily as she gazed at the sky.

The group was walking threw the woods, their moral was low at the lost of their friends. Mara and Ruto were even to

depressed to argue. They had been walking threw Ellen woods for hours, if not for over a day, and they had yet to find any elves.

Mimi kept looking around herself nervously, it was a known fact that their was a feud going on between the elfin village and a near by

fairy village. Not the fairy village she was from of course, but still, she might be mistaken for someone from that village.

Genki paused, looking around himself.

"What's wrong?" Ryan asked.

"My fighter's instinct is picking up on something." The boy responded.

"Huh? What are you---?" Mara began but was cut off by Squall who hushed her.

" I feel it too..."

" Feel what?" Ruto frowned.

Carrie looked nervous. " Is it monsters....?"

As if one cue her question was answered as spider/plant creatures jumped out of the bushes.

Ryan pulled out his T.P.R.A and pointed it at one of the creatures

Spilant

Spilant's are huge spider like creatures made of plants, they are not very strong but are very dangerous. If you are to be touch

by a Spilant it may embedded some seeds into your skin. Each seed contains 1000 baby Spilant's, in the matter of 3 weeks the

seeds will hatch inside the hosts body and the infant Spilant's will eat away the insides of the host.

"WAHHHHHHHHH!!!" Carrie cried, jumping up into a tree. "Spilant's....they killed off so many of my family when I was a baby....they are horrible!!"

"Bugs....Bugs...." Mara froze, backing away in terror.

" Oh....Dammit.... This is scary....But....EXPLOSION!!!" Ruto fired her attack, it managed to burn a few of the Siplants but it

did not do much damage. Ryan slashed at a few with his sword, and Genki fired a few energy attacks, Squall frowned at the

fact he wasn't able to attack because all of his attacks required the need to touch his opponent.

Ruto lashed her whip at a few sending them backing away from her in fright. Even Mara was forced to finally use her 'Razor claws.' and

slash away at the monsters. Mimi was in the sky casting poison and sleeping spells on the creatures. The battle however was not going

to good, things got even worse as Mara, Genki and Ruto's screams caught the others attentions. The Siplants had pulled them

close to them and had wrapped them into a plant like cocoons and had them resting on their backs.

"RUTO!!!" Ryan cried.

"GENKI!!!" Mimi screamed, panicked.

Inside the cocoon Mara sniffles 'Isn't anyone going to call out my name?'

"Carrie, use you fire magic!" Squall said looking at the frightened magic user, who still up in the tree. "They are plants, you can

burn them away!"

"But....I'm....I'm too scared!" Carrie cried, looking away, trembling. "What if I accidentally kill our friends along with the

spiders, I don't want to kill anyone else I care about!!!'

"CARRIE---!!!" Squall began but was interrupted as a wave of fire magic covered the Siplants, burning them away. Their

friends fell to the ground unmoving. The group turned to see who there savor was and saw the blonde elf.

"Lima say Hi! You were in very much danger, Lima save you, Lima can help your friends, grandma have medicine back in

village." The elf girl smiled.

"Lima!" Ryan gasped. " Your Lima?"

" Yes, Lima is I."

"Pai-Pai told us to find you..."

"Lima's did not hear from Pai-Pai in long time! How is she?"

Ryan frowned sadly. "We'll tell you, but first lets cure our friends."

Ruto, Genki and Mara had recovered around an hour after being given the medicine, the seeds had fallen out of their bodies,

and now they were all setting around the table drinking tea with Lima.

"So you were saying Pai-Pai told you to find Lima?" The elf asked happily, sipping her tea.

Ruto looked down sadly. "Lima....Pai-Pai asked us to pass the orb of love onto you....as her last wish...."

" Last wish?" Lima repeated, her face loosening her cheerfulness, eyes wavering for a moment, then to everyone's surprise she laughed. "Oh you mean

Pai-Pai is giving up on making wishes on stars and stuff?"

The group fell of their chairs at the girls stupidity.

"No, Lima..." Ruto said seriously. " Pai-Pai is dead....she asked for you to be the new carrier of the orb of love, you know the

story about the goddess orbs right?"

"Lima's friend Pai-Pai dead? After all that dancing she does it's no wonder, I would be dead tired too!"

"NO!!" Mara exclaimed. " Dead, as in six feet under!"

" She's six feet under what?" Lima asked still confused.

The group sighed shaking her head at the elf's stupidity.

"Well...she is a blond..." Ruto sighed.

"Yeah, the explains a lot..." Ryan began then paused. "Hey, wait! I'm a blond!"

"Lima....Pai-Pai was killed by Taromecika's demons." Genki told her sadly.

"What!?" Lima "Pai-Pai gone....?" Her huge blue eyes began to water then.

"WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

The group was forced to cover their ears at the sound of Lima's high pitched wailing.

"Do you think Pai-Pai was mad at us for some reason when she asked us to pass the orb on to her?" Genki asked, raising his

voice so that he could be heard over the sounds of the high-pitched wailing.

Suddenly Lima stopped, wiping the tears away with her hand, she smiled.

"Pai-Pai would not want Lima to be sad, Lima will cheer up!"

The group was at their wits-end with this weird girl.

"So, do you know the story about the goddess orbs?" Ruto asked again, preparing herself for some kind of stupid answer.

" Lima know a lot of things!"

"Really?" Ruto asked flatly.

"Oh yeah, Lima is occult scholar, Lima knows all about the orbs."

"Her...an occult scholar?" Genki asked looking towards his friends.

" Does not seem very likely..." Carrie frowned.

"Well...it's a little hard to believe with someone of her intelligence." Mimi added meekly.

"Hn." Squall agreed.

" Lima will gladly take on the power of the love orb if Pai-Pai wished it so. Many monsters has been attacking Lima's village,

Lima want power to help village."

"Ok...Now how do we pass orbs on to people?" Ryan asked looking at the group who drew a blank. They really never

thought about it.

"Ryan... you said I was the one that gave you, Mimi and Genki orbs so perhaps I have the power to pass them on..." Ruto

suggested.

"It could work, give it a try." Ryan said, handing her the glowing red orb.

"Ok, Lima, just stay still, I'll try to pass this orb on to you."

"Okedokie!! Lima giggled, setting cross legged on the chair.

"Powers hidden within the soul,

I ask you to help me now,

Pass the orb of love on to this girl,

Please sprit that dwells within my soul,

Come forth and answer my wish."

The group watched in awe as Ruto glowed a soft bluish-white, she opened her eyes and they were misty, as if she was in some

sort of trance, slowly the fiery red orb left her hands and entered inside Lima's body.

The soft glow of the lights vanished and both girls fell to the floor.

"DAMMIT!! DAMMIT!! DAMMIT!!! GOD DAMMIT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!" Lounaru cursed smashing random things which

happened to be around him.

"I can't believe even Rosella failed! I've only have two warriors left!!! TWO LEFT!!!!"

"Hauooooooooooo!!!!" Hikari laughed her annoying laugh as she approached him. "Isn't that a pity...We are getting new

recruits everyday, I wont be surprised if Master Taromecika got rid of you, what is the need for failures, eh, Lounaru?"

Lounaru growled. "I'm not a FAILURE!!! "

"Then prove it....We have new orders, destroy Ryan. Ryan is in Ellen woods at the elfin village, and while you try to kill him,

destroy the village so Master Taromecika can feed off the hate that our enemy's and the saviors will feel in their hearts.."

Hikari disappeared, leaving Lounaru alone.

Lounaru grinned madly. " Yes, that's it! I'LL KILL YOU, RYAN!! MAWHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!"

They had decided to stay at the elfin village for a night before continuing their journey, which now had Lima coming along with

them. They were right now traveling around in the village, the elfin people were pretty friendly, even to Mimi after she explained

she wasn't from the enemy village. From they villagers the found out that many lesser demons had been attacking recently but

they were able to protect there village from the attacks with help of Lima and a few other magic users. After buying some more supplies each of them went off to enjoy there

night in the elfin village.

"Mimi..." Carrie sighed sadly, looking at her friend which sat next to her on the cold grass staring up at the velvety black sky.

"Yes?"

"Do you think I was....an coward earlier? You know, when I was to scared to attack the Siplants?"

"No, or course not."

"I feel like one...I mean....I know I had the power to destroy them but I was to afraid to hurt our friends who were captured. I

didn't want to kill anyone else that I cared about...like I killed my family...." Carrie's eyes began to water.

"Carrie..." Mimi put her arm around the sobbing girl. " You didn't kill them...Taromecika did, don't cry, ok?"

"Yeah he killed them, just like he killed my sister Kathy...thank you, Mi, I feel better now, I think I'm just going to go to bed,

I'm getting tired."

"All right, have sweet dreams." Mimi watched as her friend walked towards the inn yawning. "Poor child..."

She was setting alone for almost five minuets when Genki walked up to her, setting down on the grass next to her.

"Hey Mimi, It's a beautiful night huh?" He asked the fairy-half who looked down at her feet blushing.

"Yes very beautiful....It reminds me of nights in my village...."

"Hey Mimi....uh...." Genki paused blushing.

"What is it?"

"Well...I, um....I...." Genki looked at Mimi's face which stared back at him questionably. ' Come on Genki, it's not that hard to

say just say 'Mimi I really like you, want to be my girl friend?, all right hear it goes..."

"Mimi I really like..."

Mimi's face began to turn red, so did Genki's and then he choked.

"I really like your dress."

"Oh...."

Genki cursed to himself. 'Idiot Genki! Idiot!!!!'

Ruto, Squall and Lima were setting at the bar, talking, well...Lima was talking.

"Lima is really excited to go on this journey, it sounds like so much fun! Lima never have much fun in this village! So what you

all want to talk about?"

".....Hn...."

"Hn? That's an interesting subject, what's an Hn?"

Ruto began to laugh, spitting out some of her beer.

"....." Squall rewarded Lima with silence.

"Wow, really? That is what Hn is? I never knew, at what store did you say you bought it?"

"........"

" You don't remember? Awww....that's to bad, Lima wanted to get one, tell Lima, do they come in the color green, Lima

loves green."

"........?"

" your favorite color is blue? Cool! Lima like blue too, but not as much as green, Lima loves green the most even though Lima specialize in water magic, which is always blue colored magic."

"....Lima, what are you doing?' Ruto asked slowly.

"Oh! When someone does not answer Lima, Lima talks for them, Heh-heh!!"

"....eh....Kay....Um, I'm going to a bathroom now, I'll be back in an hour." Ruto got up from the table and quickly left the room.

"WOW, an hour to go to the bathroom, Lima didn't know it took that long for some people, she must have some kind of

bladder trouble right?"

"..................."

"WHAT WAS THAT ABOUT MY MOMMA!?"

Squall groaned. 'The girl is an idiot....'

"Mara..." Ryan groaned as the Cat girl gripped tightly onto his arm as they sat on the docks near the ocean ahead of them.

"Rya!! Isn't this so romantic!? The moon, the stars, the ocean...us?" The cat-girl batted her eyes at him seductively.

"If you say so, but....I'm tired Mara, I want to go to bed." He practically whined.

"Rya!" Mara scolded sharply. "What's more important!? Sleep or me!?"

"..........."

Mara smiled, hugging him closer. "I thought so! Rya, when we get married some day what do you want to name our children?"

"HUH!?"

" When we have a girl I want to name her Merle, and I want to name our boy Raphael. Do you like those names, Rya?"

".........!? Kids?"

"Not right away of course, we'll wait at least an year after we are married."

" But Mara...."

"Oh Rya, I'm so happy! I'll be right back, ok? I just need to go freshen up, this salt air is making my fur ruffled."

Mara got up and ran off towards the inn. "I'll be right back!!"

Ryan sighed shaking his head. "Mara....."

The demon-half jumped startled as a small laughter came from underneath the wooden docks he was setting on, he leaned over

the edge to see who it was and suddenly found himself being pulled into the water. After regaining his senses he saw who it was

that pulled him in.

"Ruto!? What are you doing out hear?"

"Hi Ryan, I went swimming and I couldn't resist ease dropping. I was underneath the docks the whole time and I've heard everything Mara was saying. Poor you, that girl is very

demanding isn't she?"

Ryan sighed. "You got that right, I don't even like her in that way. I'm mean, sure she's my best friend but, marring her?

"Hm, Hey I have an idea, let's play cat and mouse!" Ruto grinned.

"Cat and mouse?"

"You know, that game where one person is that cat and the others are the mice and the mice have hide on the cat?"

Ryan began to laugh. "Let me guess, we're the mice, right?"

"Naturally." She grinned. "Look Mara's coming back, let's go underneath the docks, she wont spot us there." Ruto ducked underneath the

water swimming underneath the dock, smiling Ryan followed her.

It was dark underneath the wooden docks, and it did not offer much room, infact they only had enough room to raise up to their

shoulders out of the water if they didn't want to hit their heads on the wood. But it was cozy none the lest. Both of them

lessened as Mara walked onto the deck.

"RYA! RYA!? HEY!! RYA!!!?!?!?!" Mara called looking around for him.

Ryan bit his lip to keep from laughing, Ruto grinned at him, making a 'quite' sign with her hand.

"OH NO!! MY RYA MUST HAVE FELL INTO THE WATER AND DROWNED!!!

WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Both Ruto and Ryan almost started to laugh there heads off but were silenced by each other when the other put a hand over the

others mouth.

"RYA!!! RYA!!! CAN YOU HEAR ME!?" Mara screamed looking into the water. "Oh NO!!! I MUST GET HELP!!!!!!

RYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

They two 'mice' only allowed each other to burst into laughter after they heard the cat girl run off, in search of help to `save' Ryan.

" That was a good one, Ruto!" Ryan laughed wiping a tear away from his eye.

" One of my better ideas, Come on, let's go for a little swim." Ruto swam from underneath the docks with Ryan following.

"The water is so beautiful isn't it? I love it so much..." The girl sighed dreamily. "The name Ruto even means water....."

"Yeah, my sister Parfait loved water too, almost as much as you."

"We will save your sister, Ryan." Ruto said noticing the sad expression on his face. Seeing that her words did not bring a smile

to his face she grinned, deciding to do her best Mara impersonation.

"Come on Rya!! Don't be so sad, just think about how were are going to have a daughter named Merle and a son named

Raphael someday."

Ryan looked at her surprised and then both of them began to laugh. They swam together in the water for awhile, splashing each

other, when a hard cold wind started to blow causing both of them to shiver. Looking forward they saw that they were a long

way from land.

"I didn't know we swam this far out." Ryan commented frowning, shivering in the cold.

"Darn, why did this wind have to start, we're going to freeze before get back to land!" Ruto grumbled wrapping her arms

around herself to keep warm. Involuntarily Ryan wrapped an arm around her, holding her close, something Parfait always told him he use to do for her when they were younger, to keep her warm.

Ruto blushed, but then smiled at him, as she wrapped her arms around his waist and keeping each other warm with their body

heat they swam towards land.

By the time Ruto and Ryan reached land, coming up behind the motel, which was some distance from the dock they saw Mara

running towards the dock with their friends, from all the way where they were standing they could hear her shouting.

"SOMEBODY!!! SAVE MY DEAR SWEET RYAN!!! WAHHHH!!!"

" You think we should tell her I'm not drowning?" Ryan asked staring at his overreacting friend.

Ruto laughed , shaking her head. "No way, the game of cat and mouse is still on! But if we don't hide, the cat will find and eat

us all up!" She smiled slyly before adding. "You should find us a hiding place."

"Me?"

"Of course! I found the 1st one, so it's only fair you find our second hiding place."

"Hmmm, ok." Ryan began to look around himself but only spotted tress, but then his eyes landed on the back entrance of the

Motel. Grinning her took Ruto by the hand, and together they crept threw the motels back doors.

"RYA!!! RYA!!!!!!" Mara was shouting, her head part way into the water. Behind her, her friend were sighing, shaking their

heads, except for Lima who was to dense to realize that what Mara was doing was ridiculous.

"If she doesn't take her head out of the water soon, she'll be the one who drowns." Carrie shook her head.

" Poor Mara, actually believes that Ryan is drowning...." Mimi frowned looking at the Panicked can girl with sympathy.

"There is no use telling her that he isn't, she wont lesson. Well, at least it's entertaining to watch her babble on like an idiot."

Mimi's frowned deepened. "Genki, that was not very nice." She scolded.

Genki instantly blushed. "I'm sorry...."

" Do you think we should get a life savor or something? Or maybe a scuba diver?" Lima asked clueless.

"Idiot girl...." Squall rolled he's eyes. " Ryan's not drowning!"

"He's not?"

".................hn.....idiot....."

" Hear, this room I heard is not used for some reason, I don't know why but it seems comfortable." Ryan said, leading Ruto

inside of the deserted room. The room was dark hues of blue and purple, and had only one window that allowed pale moon light

to shine in.

"WOW, it's such a pretty room, I wonder why it's not used, is it the 13 room or something?"

Ryan picked up one of the purple sheets of the bed and shook some of the dust off of it, both he and Ruto sneezed, and began

to laugh.

"I guess things are a little dusty." Ryan laughed sheepishly.

" This room, it's so pretty, hey Ryan, set down. After all that swimming your legs must be tired." Ruto gestured to a spot on the

bed next to her. Feeling a slight blush on his cheeks he obeyed, setting next to the brown haired, ocean eyed beauty.

"Hey Ryan? When you grow up, what do you want to be?"

"What?" Ryan asked, surprised by her question.

"You know, what kinds of things do you want to do in your future, your job?" Ruto asked again, blushing.

"...Well, it's silly, now don't laugh....I want to be..." Ryan took a deep breath, turning red in the face. " I want to open up an

orphanage and take care of little kids...."

"Really!?" Ruto repeated surprised.

"I know...It's stupid...."

"No, not at all." Ruto smiled. " I was just surprised, most boys I ask says a solider or a warrior, or something to

try and impress a girl. Your honest, I like that in a person. But why do you want to do that?"

"I want to help people. All my life, I always tried to make a difference, I always felt so worthless, you know, I never knew my

parents, the memories I have of my mother are next to none, Mara and Parfait has to tell me things for me to be able to remember them from when I was younger, the only family I had was Parfait, I grew up without love, and it hurt

me so much, sometimes I just wanted to break down and cry but I knew I had to be strong for me and my sister, so I kept my

feelings bottled up inside...afraid that if I ever let them surface I would not be able to handle them...I want to stop other kids

from growing up without any body to care about them...I want to be there for other kids like me and Parfait..."

Ruto's eyes looked at him sadly. "That's a beautiful dream, a dream that comes straight from the heart. I know that someday it

will come true."

"What's your dream, Ruto?"

The girl blushed and began to fiddle her fingers. "My dream? Well, it's not as touching as yours, but I dream that someday to find somebody to love me....you know, somebody who will accept me for who I am, and not try to change me. I would be

happy to just cook and clean for my husband and children...singing once and awhile, you know, just a happy, plain and simple

life."

"Ruto..."

"Yes?"

" I like you the way you are."

Ruto blushed smiling. "Ryan...thank you, you don't know how long I've waited to hear someone say those words to me...." The

girl yawned, closing her eyes.

"Getting tired Ruto?" Ryan asked, then felt himself yawn too. He was suddenly really tiered and then slowly, with Ruto leaned

against him, already half asleep, he fell back onto the bed and both of them, Ruto with her head using Ryan's chest for a

pillow, and Ryan's arm tucked around her as if she was a teddy-bear they fell asleep.

----DREAM---

Ryan could feel the heat of Ruto's body as he kissed her passionately on the lips. He knew what he was doing, but he had no

power to stop himself. She moaned as he cupped her small breasts in his hands, and suckled at the nipples like a new born

baby. In return Ruto moaned loudly, her cheeks blushed as she rubbed her hands over his naked flesh.

Ruto shivered as Ryan nipped her neck, leaving a small mark on her skin, and shuddered in delight as she gave him a matching

mark on his own neck. He ran his hands over her back, feeling the soft skin, and then the feeling of two ruff wing shaped scars.

"My angel."

"My light." Ruto smiled up at him before kissing his neck.

The passion between the two continued and peeked as Ryan tasted of her, she tasted like peaches and cream, she was a taste

to be savored.

The love making between the two continued on for hours, the silhouette of their shadows played on the walls like some sort of

exotic painting.

As it neared the end, Ruto looked up at him passionately, face covered with sweat.

"Ryan, I love you....we will be together

always, forever...."

" Yes we will...I'll never let you go."

And with that they lean over and kissed.

--END DREAM-

Ruto opened her eyes wide, shocked at what she just dreamed, she felt her heart leap into her throat as she felt herself laying

in Ryan's arms, but relaxed as she saw that was still wearing her damp clothes.

"Why would I dream that sort of thing....and what was that feeling I felt in my chest the whole time?"

Taking a glance out the window she saw an orange glow, turning towards the clock that hung on the wall she frowned.

"but it's only 1:00 am....it's far too early for the sun to be rising..." Ruto gasped as it hit her suddenly, running towards the

window she gasped in horror.

"RYAN!!!" She screamed, causing the demon-half to jump ten feet out of bed. The first thing that entered Ryan's mind was the

dream, and the worry that it had been real or something, but he did not have time to dwell on it when Ruto continued to shout.

"THE VILLAGE IS BURNING!!!"

"WHAT!?"

Ryan ran to her side, staring out the window and to his terror he saw that she was right.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!" Lounaru laughed insanely as he

watched the buildings burn around him, and the slaughter his lesser demons were causing.

"MERRO!!! MERRO!! YES! YES!!!! BURN!!! BURN!!!!!!!! MAWHAHAHAHA!!!!"

"What a psycho!!!" Genki exclaimed, attacking the lesser demons which kept on coming at them.

"How can anyone enjoy death this much?" Mimi asked, as she caste sleep powder over a few of the lesser demons and then

cast petal dance.

Squall had transformed into a wolf and was attacking, while Mara fended off demons with her razor claws, slashing threw them

mercilessly, while screaming in terror the whole time.

'I wont be afraid this time...' Carrie vowed before casting an homing energy ball which blasted threw a few of the enemies.

Lima stood shaking in the corner, to afraid to move.

"What do Lima do? Lima can't....Ahhh!" one of the demons ran towards her, it's claws ready to embedded her skin. Lima

threw her hands out in front of her, sending a magical arrow made of water out forward, it pierced threw the hearts of more then half of the lesser demon's turning them to dust.

Everyone one present looked at her shocked and surprised, except for the elfin people.

"Stupid but very powerful...." An old elfin man shock his head.

"That's our daughter....the power to almost destory a small part of Gaia but is to stupid to use it...."an old woman sighed sadly.

Ryan's group exchanged disturbed looks at the old woman's words before continuing to fight while Lima continued to wail,

sending powerful blasts out into the battle field randomly.

"WHERE IS HE!?" Lounaru roared looking around the fiery battle ground for the demon-half he was sent to slay.

"COME ON! IF I DON'T KILL SOMETHING SOON, I'LL GO CRAZY!!! WHERE THE HELL IS HE!?!?!?"

A little elf girl ran by him, desperate to get away from the flames, but with her unfortunate luck she tripped landing right in front

let the child drop and turned around in anger, in front of him was Ruto, staring back at him with a sour expression.

"What kind of bastard picks on little kids who can't defend themselves?"

Lounaru grinned, unhurt by her words.

"I want to get away from hear!!!" The little girl screamed, fearful tears rolling down her cheeks. "It's so scary!!!"

Before Ruto could move a mussel Lounaru turned part way around to face the child and extended his hand, a blast of fire magic

emerged from it striking the child, killing it instantly. He grinned dusting off his hands.

"Her wish was granted, she gone from hear all right! She's in the life stream now, with all th other DEAD people!!! Mawhaha!!!!"

Ruto's eyes widened in horror, and her eyes began to brim with tears as she growled.

"YOU BASTARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Ruto leaped forward, trying to punch Lounaru , but ended up getting her wrist grabbed

instead. Ruto struggled to get out of his grip, but ended up getting a kneed to the stomach which caused her to begin to cough up

blood.

"Ryan...." She whispered weekly.

Ryan ran out into the battle field, angry at the fact that he had been delayed by two lesser demons, when he arrived at the battle

front, he froze as he was greeted by Lounaru holding a frightened looking Ruto in a powerful grip.

"RUTO!!!"

"Isn't this a nice girl you got hear." Lounaru mocked. "I would hate to see anything...bad....happen to her."

"Is that a threat!?"

"Might be, put down your sword."

Ryan frowned, but then obeyed throwing his sword down onto the soil.

"Hey..." Lounaru's face twisted in a confused sort of way. "That sword....a demon sword...a sword of dark power....I

recognize this weapon but form where....? "

"What?"

"Nothing, I was sent hear to destroy you, but it seems that at the last minuet my master told me to capture you instead. He thinks

you as a demon-half would make an excellent servant for the darkness." Lounaru grinned.

" I would never work for him! Let Ruto go!!"

"Oh? You say that now, your sister said the same thing."

Ryan's eyes widened. "Parfait!? What have you done to her!!!?"

" I don't know, the sorcerers took her on Taromecika's order." Lounaru continued coldly. "But if you really want to find out,

join us."

Ryan growled clenching his fists.

"If that does not make you want to join Master Taromecika, I have other ways to convenes you." Reaching upward with one

hand Lounaru grabbed Ruto's pink top and ripped it off of her back.

Ryan gasped, as he watched Lounaru trail his hand over her breasts, and then he began to squeeze them ruff between his

fingers. Ruto cried out in pain and shame, and began to struggle against his grip even harder then before.

"Stop struggling! It will only make things harder!!" The insane man growled, squeezing tighter.

"Damn....You, to hell......I'll kill you....for this....EXPLO---"

"Attack me and see that house over there." Lounaru pointed towards a building. " That building is full of villagers whom are

hiding, attack and I'll kill them all."

Ruto sobbed. "Bastard..."

"RUTO!!!" Ryan exclaimed, beginning to run forward.

"One step forward and I'll kill her, if you want me to let her go join Master Taromecika."

Ryan paused unsure of what to do. 'I can't let him harm her....I can't....' as if she could read his mind Ruto cried, her voice

pleading.

"No Ryan!! I don't care if I die, You're the savior of light, you're the only one who can save the world and the goddess from

the powers of darkness, My life is insignificant in the big picture, forget me!! You can't sell your soul to darkness just to save

"SHUT UP!!!" Lounaru growled, slapping her across the face. He gripped her chin in his strong fingers, pulling her face

towards him.

"Now...It seems as if Ryan does not care about you..."

"How dare you say that!! I care about Ruto more then anything!!" Ryan screamed, only realizing what he said after he said it.

"Ryan...." Ruto whispered, feeling her cheeks grow even hotter.

"Really? Did you ever kiss her, like this?"

Ryan's eyes widened in shock as Lounaru pulled Ruto's tear stained face towards his, giving her an hard kiss on the lips. Then

his eyes began to water as they narrowed into enraged slits.

Ruto never felt so miss-used, so shameful in her life as she felt Lounaru's leathery thoung slid into her mouth. It felt nothing like

the time Ryan had kissed her, when he did she felt loved, at peace, happy, comforted but with this kiss all she felt was shame

and pain, sadness and anger. The anger over powered her and suddenly she found herself biting down hard on Lounaru's

thoung. Instantly she tasted the bitter sweet taste of blood filling up her mouth.

"YOU BITCH!!" Lounaru roared gripping his mouth painfully with his hand, rising his fist to strike her. "I'LL KILL YOU!!!"

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Ryan screamed leaping forward, his sword drawn, the cold steal of his blade

slashed against Lounaru's face, blood dripped from the cut onto the already forever crimson stained soil.

Ruto fell out of Lounaru's grip, hitting the ground, and laying there like a rag doll an child had outgrew and tossed away.

"RUTO!!" Ryan screamed, taking her into his arms. "Are you ok? Are you hurt?"

"Just...my pride...." Ruto reassured weakly, pushing herself upward but fell back with a yelp of pain, grabbing her chest. "And

my body...."

"Ruto...."

"YOU!!!!" Lounaru yelled insanely, gripping his cheek, his eyes filled with burning rage. " HOW DARE YOU SCAR MY

BEAUTIFUL FACE!!!!!!!!!! DIEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!"

" RAW TILT!!!"

Suddenly the ground beneath Lounaru's feet exploded, sending him reeling back. Lima stared back at them, the wooden staff in

her hands.

"Wasn't that a cool spell or what, heh-heh!!!" she giggled brightly.

"You..." Lounaru growled climbing to his feet, weekly.

"LOUNARU!!" Taromecika's voice echoed around them. " Come back to headquarters! You can't beat them that way you are

now!"

The crazy boy hesitated for a moment but then decided to fallow his masters orders.

" I'll be back...then, then you all will BURN!!"

The group watched as Lounaru disappeared then turned back to the village which was still aflame, corpses and blood from

both sides fertilizing the soil.

"Lima's village destroyed....Lima must help fix before going on journey."

"We will all help." Genki said. " It was our fault the village got attacked anyway."

"Yes." Mimi agreed, and so did the rest of the group.

"RYA!!!" Mara exclaimed rushing over to him, giving him a tight hug. " YOUR OK!!"

Ryan began to turn blue around the face as he desperately tried to remove the cats fingers from around his neck.

"Kitty cat...let him breath..." Ruto coughed still in the demon-half's arms.

"Huh?' Mara asked, noticing Ruto for the first time, her eyes wandered over the fact that she was being held in 'her' Ryan's

arms, and that he shirt was ripped open, revealing her bra and the tops of her small breasts.

"RUTO!!! HOW DARE YOU SHOW YOUR BREASTS TO MY RYA!!!!"

"Mara!!" Ryan partly scolded partly gasped at the cat-girls accession.

"Get a life...Lounaru attacked me and ripped my shirt opened....I'm not like you, I don't go around showing my breasts to

people to get attention." Ruto explained weakly.

Mara started to say something when suddenly Lima screamed, her eyes filled with fear and she began to tremble.

"What is it!?" Genki gasped, while the rest of the group began looking around for some left over lesser demons or maybe even

Lounaru again. Lima pointed forward at Ryan, still shaking.

" It's a ghost!!!! Ryan drowned in the river remember!!? OHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! Lima read about this in Lima's occult

studies, they say that if some bodies ghost comes back that means there soul ain't at peace."

Everyone groans at the elf girls stupidity, shaking their heads.

"Well...." Squall said sighing. "We already have an Hyper boy, a shy girl, An emotionally confused guy, A little girl who is

seeking revenge, a love obsessed cat, me a quite guy and a girl with a short temper and amazingly small breasts, I guess it's only

inevitable our next group member is an idiot."

Ruto gave Squall a sour look. " Watch it about the breasts pal, if I had enough strength left in me I'd use 'Explosion' on you, but

sense I don't I'll just give you a warning, next time your going to say something negative, just don't say anything."

A few days had passed by, and the village was mostly restored. The tailors in town had made Ruto a new shirt that looked

exactly like her old one, but the color navy blue instead because they did not have any pink martial. Ruto did mind much though,

saying that she liked blue better anyway because it was the color of water. The group were just about to leave when the old

man which owned the motel came out laughing, shaking his head.

"What's so funny, grandpa?" Lima asked cheerfully.

"Looks like some people broke into the unused room in the motel."

Ruto and Ryan looked at each other, and began to whistle innocently.

"Why is the room unused anyway?' Ruto asked, pretending not to be to concerned.

"Oh, a little while ago this crazy little witch kept on trying to make her boyfriend have sex with her, but he refused to until they

were married, so she made something called 'passion dust.' It makes a person really tired and whoever they fall asleep with

when they breath in the dust it makes them have 'naughty' dreams of each other or if they were alone...themselves. Well you see

this girl, she accidentally dropped a big pile on to the bed sheets!! HAHAHA!!! We could never get our maids to clean it up

because the dust would make them fall asleep and...Heh Heh....dream of each other."

Ryan and Ruto could feel their cheeks burning, and turned slightly away from each other.

"Whoever went into that room must have been surprised after!!" The old man cackled.

Genki looked over at the blushing Ryan and Ruto slyly, the thought entering his head.

"Why are you two blushing.?" He asked evilly.

Ryan and Ruto turned even redder in the face, and both waved there hands back and forth in protest as they both stuttered at

the same time.

"Oh yes you are. I saw you two last night sneaking into the motel....Heh...Heh...Heh....was it good?"

"WHAT!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?" Mara hissed, her fur standing on end. Grabbing a giant mallet out of no where she began to stalk towards

Ruto, vengefully.

"Oh.....damn...." Ruto muttered, sprinting away as the cat girl began to chase her with the mallet, screaming lots of profanity at

her.

"Genki...what the hell?" Ryan growled, the hyper boy just laughed.

"Hey, without Keith hear, *someone* has to torment you."

"You really are his cousin aren't you?" The demon-half narrowed his eyes.

"HEY!! You said you wouldn't tell!!!"

"Keith was you cousin Genki!?" Mimi asked surprised. "Now I see were you get those little bad ways of yours." She finished with a

frown.

"Mimi!! " Genki eyed Ryan sharply. "Now look what you did!"

"Serves you right!"

"Lima ask what's a Keith, is it an hair brush or something?" Lima asked, giggling.

"......Idiot....."

The group argued, while Mara was still chasing after Ruto with the 'deadly oh so powerful mallet.

Carrie sighed shaking her head. "Can't we all just.....get along?"

Ruto stopped running, and annoyed she turned around. "Ok that's, that! To much stupidty from all of you!! DOUBLE EXPLOSION!!!!"

Mara and the rest of the group except for Carrie was blown into the sky by the trade mark Ruto's 'I'm pissed off at you' attack.

Carrie looked at the scorched and moaning forms of her friends wide eyed, shaking her head she watched Ruto brush her

hands off.

"And I thought I was dangerous...."
