Chapter 16: Climax

Genki yawned tiredly, as he continued to drive the car up the road. A month had passed by since their car broke down and

they exchanged stories, but now, now they were almost back to Trisu, where their journey first started. Knowing he would not

be able to stay awake much longer without some sort of distraction he put on his headphones and began to play his favorite

song. Letting the mood of the song flood into his mind.

* So we talked all night about the rest of our lives,

Where we're going to be when we turn 25,

I keep thinking times will never change,

Keep thinking things will always be the same.*

Genki sighed, sadly. 'Things are going to change...soon our journey will be over...Squall, Lemon, Lima, Alex, Ruto will go their

separate ways, and I must admit, I've become so close to them all. Even the ones I haven't know that long like Lemon and

Alex...

* But when we leave this year we wont be coming back,

No more hanging out because we are on a different track.

And if you got something that you need to say,

You better say it right now, 'cause you don't have another day*

Genki glanced at Mimi sighing sadly. ' After this, I may never find the courage to come close to her again...But I'm to much of a

coward to tell her how I feel...Ryan's lucky, he knows Ruto cares about him, he's just to foolish to admit it, but Mimi...she is

cares about everyone...even if she hated me she would treat me kind...so I just may never find out how she feels about me.

* 'Cause we're moving on and we can't slow down,

These memories are playing like a film without sound,

I keep thinking of that night in June,

I didn't know much love but it came to soon*

'I know that sooner this journey ends that sooner Taromecika will be defeated, but for once I feel as though I'm doing

something that counts, as though, my life as a purpose. Ha...who am I kidding...? The only time I feel truly alive is when I'm

fighting...In battle I can let go of my emotions, all my rage...all my pain...but put me hear in real life and I'm just a goof, a

girl-shy goof....'

' I know it's terrible, but deep down I wish that our adventure was not ending already....I mean, after it's over, everyone will be

gone...and after that, what do I have waiting for me? A life...a life in Angeles city, a life which was planned out on the day of my

birth, I wonder what the use of having my own mind is, with a destiny that is already laid out before me. Could Keith have felt

the same way, is that why he joined the forces of darkness? I don't know, I just know, that my friends...Mimi...everyone means

the world to me, and after our journey, I'll lose them all.....'

' I did not tell the others, but this is suppose to be my last year at the school...I am only hear because....' he shook his head, not wanting to continue the thought. ` after that, I will probably never see any of them

ever again....I'll miss them all so much, and Mimi, I'll never be able to tell her how much I love her...'

* So if we get the big jobs and we make the big money,

When we look back at now, will our jokes still be funny?

Will we remember everything we learned in school

Still be trying to break every single rule?*

'I wonder how everyone will turn out years from now.....I hope, they will be happy....'

Genki sighed, closing his eyes for a moment. 'It is almost like this song is mocking me....'

*Will we think about tomorrow, like we think about now?

Can we survive out there, can we make it somehow?

I guess I thought that this would never end,

And suddenly it's like we're women and men.*

'After I leave and years go by, will any of them ever remember me? Will any of them even care to remember me, will Mimi be

married and only recall me as some foolish friend who had a crush on her? No....she's much to kind to do something like

that...but will she even remember me after I'm gone...or would it be 'That guy, with the long pony-tail...the fighter...the hyper

tech nut, what was his name?' But he knew, he would never ever forget her...she would always have a special place in his

heart, along with all his other friends, whom he held so dear.'

* Will these memories fade when I leave this town?

'I don't ever want to leave them.......'

"Genki?"

The boy jerked surprised as Mimi's soft sleepily voice startled him.

"Genki...you seem tired, why not you take a break? You've been driving for hours."

The boy blushed, gazing out the window nervously.

"Oh...I'm not...I'm *Yawn* Not tired at all."

Mimi stifled a giggle. "Oh Genki, you should take a rest, we'll arrive at Trisu soon, there is no use arriving there only to fall

asleep."

Genki smiled, nodding his head.

"All right....I guess your right."

"I love that song you were playing...It reminds me of you...."

Genki looked and Mimi surprised, causing the fairy-half to look down at her feet blushing.

" And how we all will stay friends forever....I don't think any of us will ever forget each other, after all we went threw

together...everyone, will always have a place in my heart..."

Genki smiled. " Yes we will always be friends forever." 'I just wish that someday, me and you, could be more...'

Alex, tossed as much as his cramped little space would allow him, beads of sweat forming on his forehead. Low moans coming

from his thought, his face twisted in the pain of horrid long ago memories.

--Alex's Dream-

All he could feel around himself was darkness, pain, the stench of blood, his own thick hot blood. The torture, the

punishment....his training, ruthless training made not only to crush his body but his very soul as well. Training to bury his

humanity, training to bury himself.

He could not see, everything around him was black, but yet his eyes were wide open, something wet was trailing down his

cheeks, but he did not know what they were...maybe he once did, but now he had forgotten. He could not see but he could

feel and hear. But all he felt and heard was pain...

"Stop whimpering! Soldiers do not whine, they are tuff, they are strong, they aren't weaklings!"

The yelling from a man echoed threw his ears followed by the sting of a whip cutting into his flesh. He cried out in pain, he could

not help it, his body...his soul was in so much pain.

" I told you not to cry out!" The voice boomed. " In battle if you were to do that then your enemy would know that you were

weakening!"

His gritted his teeth together as another whip slash came down onto his already whipped back, he could feel more hot blood

run down his skin and he began to pass out, but was forced to stay awake as his cruel trainer grabbed his arm. He could feel

cold steal next to his hot flesh, and he knew what was going to come next.

"Let's add another scar to your growing collection."

He braced himself, knowing that if he were to show the slightest emotion he would be punished brutally. The knife sank into his

arm, ripping the flesh as it traveled upward. He bit his lip to keep himself from screaming and that was when he was stuck

across that face.

"I told you never to show emotion! By biting your lip like that, I and an enemy can see that you are in pain! You'll be punished

for that!"

All what he could do was lay their on his back, that wet substance trailing down his cheeks. 'But....I'm....I'm....only....I'm only a

kid.....' he thought helplessly. "Not some kind of...robotic monster....I can't help but feel pain.....I'm human after all....."

~End Dream~

Alex jerked out of his sleep with a gasp, bolting upright. Sweat pouring from his face, and seemed to be gushing from every

other pour as well. In his hurried awakening he had bumped Ryan, awakening the demon-half as well. He blinked, staring at the

pale and drawn face of the solider.

"Alex, what is it?" He asked concerned.

The perfect soldiers back stiffened and he turned away from Ryan, not wanting to face the boy. 'How could I have let myself

be so weak, as to be bother by a dream...a dream of the past...the past is gone....a memory...'

He could feel Ryan staring at his back, but instead allowed his eyes to trail over Ruto. Feeling the mixed feelings for her rise in

his chest like it always did whenever he looked at her.

'Love, friendship, kindness, but also hate, agony, and vengeful thoughts.'

He bore such ruthless, such dark training to protect her and her damn city. No, to protect the city, and keep her enslaved, trapped

within the castle. It seems like he had failed at both of his jobs...but at least he could still protect her, so his whole mission was

not failed. But he could not help but think, that if she or her city never existed then, he would never have been in so much

agony. But it was not her fault....it was not her fault, she did not ask for someone to keep her imprisoned, it was gods fault for giving him such a cruel destiny. 'God....what a foolish

thing to believe in...'

He could still feel Ryan's eyes on his back, and rewarded him with a few simple words.

"Your kind of lucky you don't have a past."

"Huh?"

"Without a past, no memories can come back to haunt you, a clean sweep from your soul." Alex finished, pulling up the sleeve

of his blue jacket a little to look at the large scar on his wrist. Unlike all his other wounds, this one did not come from battle or

the training...

They arrived in Trisu at around 10:00 am, stopping outside the bar to get a drink and stretch their legs before continuing onto

the school.

Juri along with Arisu and Nagisa came running out of the bar but stopped short as they did not spot Keith among them.

"Hey...Hey...." Juri whimpered. "Where is Keithy?

"Lord Keith...." Nagisa bit her lip, eyes watering.

Arisu fumed. "Where is Master Keith!? What have you done to him Ryan!!?"

The demon-half rolled his eyes. "....I did not do anything to that low-life bastard. Keith went off and joined the forces of

darkness."

The three girls gasped in horror.

"KEITHY!!!" Juri wailed, sobbing as she put her hands to her face.

"Lord Keith, would never!"

Arisu bitch-slapped him across the face. "LIAR!! MASTER KEITH WOULD NEVER DO SUCH A THING!!!!!"

The group watched as one of the twins stomped away. Nagisa frowned, for a moment.

" I don't see Mara with you either....Did she leave with Keith?"

Ryan looked down sadly at the ground. "Yes, she too betrayed us."

"Hmmm...I guess it must be true then, you would never lie about Mara ....I wont ask why they betrayed you, but I know that

Lord Keith must have had a good reason to. And I will not look at him with dishonor. But please, don't tell anyone else in the

school what he did, they don't know him....they will think he is a monster...."

Ryan nodded. He understood what she meant. Nagisa unlike her twin sister Arisu was more sensitive and relaxed.

"I promise I wont tell anyone....so, what's been going on at the school?"

"Hmmmmm...." She frowned, twirling her short hair around her long index finger. "Most of the students went home...they are

only 50 students remaining, including the four other 5th rankers, and of course Yuu, you know she will never leave Karl

Cabrera's side. Kind of like you and Ma...." Nagisa put her hand to her mouth clumsy. "Opps!"

"It's all right." Ryan reassured. 'Mara.......why, why did you betray us.....I may have not have loved you, but you were my best

friend....'

As soon as they entered the school all activates were stopped. Everyone stared at them, waiting intently for one of them to say

something.

"We got the orbs!" Genki exclaimed, causing everyone around them to burst into cheers.

"Great!" Yuu shouted, her short hair bobbing as she spoke. "I've gotta go report this!"

Ryan with the others in his group that came from Marlo magic school shock their heads, with small smiles on their faces.

Yuu Tachiwaka, she was fourteen and very odd indeed. No, she did not look odd. Sure she was a little chubby, but not that

much, nothing really bad. She wore jean-peddle-pushers, a green T-shirt and a white over shirt over that, along with a black

leather pouch that buckled around her waist. She had blackish-brown hair, that was cut round and curled under her chin, two

bouncy, bobby curling pigtails were tied in the back of her short hair. She always wore whitish makeup, like white eye-shadow,

lipstick and powder and when she smiled her two cute little dimples would stick out. The only weird part of her body were her eyes,

they were an icy blue...Most of the time, her eyes were an icy blue, the means she is friendly, kind, caring, compassionate,

giddy, a little shy and very sweet, but of course Yuu was terrible spoiled , her motto being 'When I want something, I get it.'

But of course, she says she spoiled....In The Good Way! An another thing about Yuu was that she had a violent temper,

strong-will, and could often be ruthless in getting what she wants. A stubborn young girl, but cute. She was one of the best

students in the school, the only reason why she was still 4th rank is because she missed a few of the training missions on the

account she is always sick, besides her strong suit is not in her strength, but in her mind. She had a brilliant brain, and often

helped students with researching knew kinds of spells and history. Besides being the school reporter for their newspaper, there

was not much else to say about her, except that she loved the now 5th ranked student Karl Cabrera, even though she knew he

did love her back since he had a girl-friend already, but she just said that she was happy just being near and seeing him happy.

If only Mara had thought that way....

Before he knew it, Yuu was right in front of his face with her mini-tape recorder.

" So Ryan, it's good to see you again, You to Mimi, Genki! I thought Keith and Mara had gone with you two, oh!? And who

are these people? Are they the one's with the orbs? Was it hard your mission? Did you ever get attacked by Taromecika?

Did...."

"One question at a time, Yuu!" Ryan held his hands up in the air, stopping the girl who blushed, kicking her foot on the floor.

"Sorry, so um, first what happened to Keith and Mara....are they ok?" Yuu's face flashed with concern.

Ryan frowned, looking at the ground.

"Oh...." Yuu's eyes wavered. ".....I'm sorry.....I guess no mission can end in total joy....we'll honor them.... So, um...can you

introduce me to these people?" The girl looked at the members of the group who were still looking around at the school in

wonder.

"Hi, My name is Carrie Fernandez, I have the orb of purity."

".....Squall....."

"Hey there!" Lemon smiled. "Nice to meet ya, my name is Lemon! I have the orb of Truth. He..." Gesturing towards Squall.

"Has the orb of friendship." Lowering his voice Lemon whispered. "He does not speak much." Yuu giggled slightly at this.

" Lima's name is Lima Waterflower!" The elf exclaimed giddily. "Lima has the orb of love!"

"...My name....Alex....not that is your business weak woman...."

Yuu raised an eye brow, a frown forming on her face. "....Oh? And let me guess , your orb is the orb of....sexist pigs?"

Alex reward her by folding his arms and looking away.

"Actually..." Genki smiled nervously. "He has the orb of kindness...."

Yuu blinked for a moment but then began to laugh. "Well, I guess the orbs aren't very picky with who they attach themselves

to, huh? Hey....those are all seven orbs since Mimi and Genki has one each...but...." She turned towards Ruto. " If you don't

have any orb, who are you?"

Ruto blushed. "Uh....I'm Ruto, I'm trying to help stop Taromecika to."

"Oh? Well it's good to see others join the fight! More hearts out there who is trying to defeat him, then the stronger we will be!"

"Yeah...I guess your right."

Yuu smiled. "Anyway, Master Jabora is out right now, he will only be returning around tomorrow afternoon, so why don't you

relax some. I'll interview you later since you seem tired."

"Ok, thanks Yuu." Ryan nodded. 'hmmm, why is it? Why is it, something is just telling me that this is not the end of our 'little'

adventure?'

Mimi blushed as Genki brought her to his room.

"Come on, Mimi, we need to take a picture, you know, to remember our adventure together.

"...A...All right." The fairy have stuttered, blushing as she watched Genki set up his camera.

"Ok." He told her. "We have to get close, take my hand."

"...O...Ok...." Mimi blushed as he took her hand into hers.

"Try and lean over so you don't get cut off in the picture."

Mimi's face reddened even more as she put her hand on his waist, flying up a little so she could be leveled with him, her body

leaned on his...it was very embarrassing.

"Ok!" Genki grinned. "Say cheese!"

The camera flash blinded them for a moment, but when it cleared they looked at their picture smiling. It looked pretty good...

Alex scanned over a book in his hands, emotionlessly, when he felt a tap on his shoulder, turning around to spot Ryan standing

there.

"What?" he asked in that monotone voice.

"Uh...well, a few of the students want to show you and the others around the school, it seems you already found the library, but

the school is pretty big so you may want to take the tour..."

"No."

"Ok...hey what are you reading?"

"A book, about the goddesses.... It was pretty old, and it was in the very back of the library, as if, it was not to be found. And

Ryan you wont believe this, take a look at these pictures."

Ryan leaned over, studying the image that laid in the book before him. A picture of a beautiful woman, long curly blonde hair, a white dress that was almost see-threw, golden wings and ruby markings on her cheeks under her blue eyes

"Yeah." Ryan hunched his shoulders. "It's a picture of the goddess Key. Many artists like to draw her."

Alex shook his head. "Yeah, but how many of them include those red birthmarks on the cheeks? No one except for Cid and his

group had ever seen the goddess, Cid told Marie-Maya's mother all about her, so that is why Marie-Maya and I know of those marks,

whoever drew this must have been in Cid's group."

"Hmmm..."

Alex flipped that page to another picture. "Now look at this one."

A woman, beautiful yet disgusting at the same time was drawn in the book. Short black hair, pale purple skin, black eyes and wings, golden horns sprouting on the sides of her head. She wore skimpy black leather and had huge clawed hands.

"Who? Is that Saiyoua? The dark goddess?" Ryan blinked.

"Yeah....Another being only someone in Sid's group would now...this is exactly how she was described in Queen Ruto's diary."

"Could someone have broke into her dairy?"

"I doubt it. Now hear is the final picture."

This picture it was horrible! Saiyoua's fist was clenched around Key's body whom screamed and cried out in pain and agony. The golden light which surrounded the light goddess was being killed by the darkness that surrounded Saiyoua. In the background was the pictures of the two plants, Gaia and Earth, and then another image hurdling towards both of an huge dark and fiery meteor.

Ryan was speechless. "That picture...It's...!"

"It's a picture of Saiyoua absorbing Key...the darkness, absorbing the light, straggling it in it's shadows. "

"Geeze!" Ryan gasped. "That very thought brings shivers down my spine. Whoever drew these pictures were not a fan of Key I

take it."

".........You mean you haven't figured it out yet?"

"Figured out what?" Ryan questioned but did not get any response. He looked over at the pictures frowning. "It says hear that

his name is Oranag Aikacemorat..."

".......Your not to observant are you?"

"What do you mea---!!" Ryan's words stopped in his mouth as he spotted the reflection in a mirror that hung over their desk in

the library.

"That name......It's.....I don't believe it......Oranag Aikacemorat...in the mirror it spells.....!"

"Taromecika Ganaro."

"Fuck...." Ryan muttered. "He is not trying to resurrect Key at all....he's trying to resurrect Saiyoua! But why...why does he

wish to bring the evil goddess back?"

"Mad men...there is never a reason to what they do."

"Master Taromecika.... Ryan and his group are back at the magic school....but they have not joined the orbs together yet."

Hikari informed.

The demon-god smiled, sipping some of the crimson wine from his glass. " I know...things are going perfectly with my plan..."

"Huh? What?"

" My dear Hikari, I know exactly what I'm doing, soon, my love, my beautiful Saiyoua will awaken, and together, we will fill her

desire...."

"....What do we do?"

"You do nothing until I tell you, my dear, but if you wish, fetch me one of my prisoners, I feel hungry. You should get a bite to

yourself, my dear, you seem hungry."

"Yes master."

Lounaru opened his eyes, his head hurt and his memory was fuzzy but then slowly everything in his mind clicked.

"Uhhhhh....Ryan.....Damn you....I wont let you get away, next time!"

Squall was setting on the bed he was lent as he stayed in one of the dorms. He just stared off into space, allowing his memories

to come flooding back to him, about Ganderdof and Angie.

'Now....Now that the journey is ending, I will have fulfilled my revenge, and avenged Angie and Ganderdof but what do I do

after that? What will I have left? I've lost everything that matters to me...Angie...Ganderdof.... My life will have no purpose

once this is all over...everything important to me is gone....Angie...I can't believe I will never see your smiling face again...or you

Ganderdof, Will I never be held in your arms again?....No, your both gone....you both left me....." The boy could feel a tear

slide down his face.

'Why am I crying, it wont change anything.....'

"Hey, Squall!!" Lemon exclaimed, a grin on his face. "The tour is going to be start-----" the vampire trailed off as he saw the

man-beast setting on the bed, his head lowered, his face hidden in the shadows of his bangs.

"Squall...?" Lemon gasped as he saw that small water stains on the floor, and his face softened, and slowly he approached the

other boy, laying a caring hand on his shoulder.

"Squall...."

The boy looked up at Lemon, his eyes shimmering with held back tears.

".....I understand....you don't have to hide your sadness from me, I'm your friend.....I was left alone to....."

Squall sobbed, throwing his arms around the boys waist as he began to cry into his red robes. Lemon gazed down at him sadly,

rubbing the boys back comforting.

'.......Squall.........'

The three girls frowned as the tour ended and none of the boys showed up. They sat in the cafeteria, staring in disgust and

surprise at Ruto's food which was rice, with strawberries, maple-syrup and whip-cream, along with some oranges and

pine-apple piled up on it.

"Ewwww....Ruto, how can you eat that?" Carrie made a face.

"It's yummy!" Ruto exclaimed, merrily, eating more into her dish.

"If you say so...." Carrie frowned.

"Hey...uh....guys, do you think Squall likes Lima?" The elf asked hopefully. Both girls gapped at her shocked.

"Lima really likes Squall, but Lima afraid Squall don't like Lima."

"Uhh..." Ruto began nervously. "Well, I'm sure he *likes* you, but not like that...uh...Squall is......different from us....."

"Yeah? Everyone is different from each other..."

"Yes." Carrie tried. "But Squall kind of...will...he's homosexual."

".....What does that mean?"

The two remaining girls fall of their chairs to shock at the girls stupidity.

"Never mind Lima...." Both of them sighed, shaking their heads.

Ryan sat down in his dorm room, It was late, and he did not have anything to do until tomorrow. Closing his eyes he allowed

himself to fall asleep.

---Dream----

Ruto was tied to a huge cross, her face was drawn in terror, wire was strapped tightly all around her body, cutting deep into

her skin. Ryan gazed upward in horror, he was a mile away from her, but he ran, ran as fast as he could, his heart beating

widely. As he ran, images kept on popping into his mind, from the dreams he had, with the woman and the two kids.

The woman was walking, turning around her eyes widened in horror.

Ryan kept on running threw what felt like water on the ground but more warm and sticky, looking down, to his disgust and

shock he saw that he was running threw an ankle deep river of blood.

But he kept on running, the crimson liquid splashing on

his knees and arms, until he got to the cross.

"Ryan! Help me!....please!" Ruto begged, her voice raspy, from the wire that was tied around her neck.

"RUTO!!"

A flash of light filled his eyes and he gasped as he saw another Ruto standing on the cross, she grinned at him devilishly, her

black wings spreading forth from her back, causing the area to be showered with falling feathers. In her hand she held the end

of the wire that was attached to Ruto.

"Huh?" His eyes grew wide in surprise.

Suddenly another figure approached, and his eyes widened even more, his mouth dropping open in shock.

"How....How can I be looking at me?"

The other figure, or rather him, walked towards the grinning Ruto and wrapped his arms around her, giving Ryan the same

devilish smile, he raised his sword.

"RUTO!!!"

"Ryan.....!! ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!"

Ruto's scream echoed across the empty area as the 'other Ryan' plunged his sword deep into her chest. Ryan gazed up in

horror, unable to move.

"Ryan...please.....help me....Please!!"

'Ruto!" He cried, but before he could move a mussel the 'other Ruto' pulled the end of the wire she had in her hands, causing

the wire around Ruto's body to tighten, and cut threw her skin, causing her blood to spill gush out of her body, joining the river

of death below. Her eyes widened in shock and pain as the wire around her neck tightened, slicing her head off. Ryan gazed in

numb horror, as he watched her head fall, her eyes still wide with terror, he felt her hot blood splash on her face as he watched

her head fall into the bloody river, floating in the mess, like a balloon.

"No...Ruto..." he mumbled, dropping to his knees, scooping the head into his arms. Tears began to burn in his eyes, but as they

fell onto Ruto dead cheeks he saw that they were tears of blood.

"RUTO!!!!!!!!!!" He shouted his scream of agony and heart break enough to haunt the minds of anyone who hears it forever.

~END DREAM~

He awoke with a scream, looking around himself frightened. He relaxed when he did not see anything, and forced himself to

settle back into his bed.

'Why did I have a dream like that.....? Is Ruto in danger....? but why, why did 'I' kill her in the dream, and who was that girl that

looked just like her....? I'm confused....All I know is that I want to see her....I want to make sure she is all right....but she will

hardly talk to me anymore....I can't blame her....'

The boy jumped startled as his door opened and Lima walked in.

"Hey Ryan, Lima heard you scream, are you all right?"

"Uhhh....Yeah, I just had a bad dream...."

"Lima has those a lot, dreamt of the boogie-man?"

"No...I dreamt Ruto....was killed....By me and herself."

Lima frowned. "Sounds kind of symbolic...."

"Symbolic?"

"Yeah, maybe the you in the dream was someone else, and the her in the dream someone else to, maybe....hmmm, Lima don't

Ryan awoke the next morning to the sound of a knock on his door.

"Come in!"

A boy with black hair, brown eyes and glasses came into the room, wearing the school uniform with the 5th rank belt. It was

Karl Cabrera, a handsome young boy who was more skilled in brains then brawn. No, he was not weak, but it was just that, his

brains were his strong suit. Yuu had the most fighting abilities, but could never think things threw, but in a battle, fighting side by

side they were unstoppable, however Yuu still was not a 5th ranker. Everyone thought Karl and Yuu would have made a

wonderful couple, but Karl was going out with a girl he knew since he was young. They hadn't seen each other for years but fell

in love over the Internet. Yuu was crushed but had never said anything.

"You are to meet in Headmaster Jabora's room, your other group members are already there."

"Oh?" Ryan blinked confused. "It's already the afternoon.....Ok, I'll be there in a moment."

"Ok."

The door closed and he was once again alone, setting in front of his mirror he began to brush his hair, almost in a daze, he did

not know why, but for some reason he could just feel that something horrible was about to happen.

"Master Taromecika?" Hikari questioned. "....They are about to summon the orbs together..."

The demon-god ,throwing the glass which shattered to a million crystal pieces as it hit the cold stone floor, stood to his feet.

"Well, I suppose we can finish up our job over their and destroy that accursed school. There really isn't any need to, but I guess

it could make things a lot more interesting, besides, I'm getting bored."

Hikari smiled, nodding her head. " Ok, I'll summon Lounaru, and our lesser fighters."

"....We still have some of the corrupted students from that school, don't we?"

Hikari blinked for a second, then slowly a devilish grin spread across her face. "...I understand, Making friends fight against

each other, the feelings that brings up, will be the tastiest emotions and feelings to devour of all..."

"Well, well." Keith smirked as he walked into the chambers. "Well, seems like we're going to have some blood shed....what fun

it will be."

Ryan and the rest of his group stood before Master Jabora, the 'Great L's' and the four other 5th rank students.

"Ryan, you and your group has gathered all orbs together, we are very proud of you, and we are glad that almost all of you

came back safely. As for Mara and Keith, it seems only like yesterday, they were both students hear, it will be hard to let go of

them. But now, with the goddess stone, Key will come and take the pain away from the earth and the darkness shall vanish."

The group nodded, all glad to know that their hard-ships were over, and no one would ever get hurt by Taromecika again.

"Congratulations!"

The group smiled as everyone in the room clapped, but the celebration was cut short as a large bang hit the side of the school.

"What was that!?" Jabora exclaimed, looking around frantically.

The door to the office opened, and Yuu stumbled in Panicked and out of breath.

"Taromecika!! He and his army is attacking the school!!" she cried, falling to her knees.

"Yuu." Karl went to her side, helping her back up to her feet.

Horror flashed onto Ryan's and everyone else's face.

"No! We don't have time to call on the orbs!" Jabora whimpered falling to his knees.

Ryan dashed over to the microphone in the office, turning it on, he quickly shouted to the students.

"Everyone This is Ryan. We're under attack! We have to fight, I and my group will be joining you shortly, two of us stationed in

the four main areas of the school, one of us will watch the junior class men, who are to head to second floor classroom 5b.

Please everyone, be careful, this is probably our final fight!"

Ryan turned to his group, who were already standing in teams.

"Carrie, Mimi, you guys go to the parking lot."

The two girls nodded and ran off quickly.

"Alex, Genki you two go to the quad."

"All right!" Genki nodded, him and Alex dashing off.

"Squall, Lemon, you two go to the main hall, it's just inside of the front gate, we're I and Ruto will be stationed, you have to

stop whoever gets past us from getting inside the school."

"Gotcha!" Lemon smiled, taking Squall hand he drug him towards the door.

"Lima, take care of the junior class men, anyone tries to harm them, attack."

"Ok!"

Soon the room was emptied of his and he turned to Ruto, who was staring at him.

" You handled that, much like a true leader, good job...."

"Ruto, we are going to guard the front gate, it'll be the hardest place to guard for it is the easiest place to enter the school, are

The 5th rankers and the Great L's watched as Ryan ran out of the room, Ruto by his side.

"...They will destroy, Taromecika, I know it." Jabora smiled.

Lexy turned to him, a grin spread on her face. "Really?"

"Huh?" Jabora looked up surprised as the great L's circled around him.

"We just don't see that happening." Laura continued, mockingly.

"What...what, do you mean?" The man trembled.

"...Your pitiful, a washed-up hero, You have to train younger people to do your bidding then when a battle starts you hide like

a coward. You think I, or any of us would fallow a wimp like you?"

"But....But....." The man stuttered, beginning to back away. "You three haven't changed at all from those days, have you!? You were using me!"

"Your life ends hear old man!" Lexy laughed. "You should not have chosen to trust the old servants of Saiyoua!"

"No! Please, please don't! I'm defenseless, I...! Ugh!!"

Taromecika appeared behind the man, his claws piercing threw the man's flesh as he gripped his neck.

"Taromecika....you damn....traitor..." Jabora mumbled painfully.

Yuu stared in complete horror, shaking all over. "Karl...that's....is that Taromecika!? Oh!! Please, you must help the

headmaster!!"

Karl glanced at her, smiling wickedly. "....that would be no fun. Watch Yuu, watch as he dies, it'll be something very interesting

for you to write in your newspaper about."

"Taromecika!?" Jabora choked.

" You foolish man, all this time, the school was in my control. Your teaches, the 'Great L's' had always been on my side, and

they helped me corrupt almost all of your students. Sure, some of your 5th rankers were strong willed, like that boy, Alan

copper, but...I killed him...he was delouses meal...I also corrupted all the monsters in your training area, you see, if anyone

could survive those creatures then, I wanted them on my side, I did not want anyone who wasn't strong enough to defeat them."

"I can't believe I was tricked, by those disgusting women....just because they were cute" Jabora choked, a tear running down his cheek. "How could I have been so stupid?"

"There is still one use for you...."

of him, and by the end of Taromecika's meal, the skin, was all that was left.

"The taste someone gives off, when they know they are going to die, but are to helpless to do anything, is one of the best

flavors of them all."

Yuu was screaming, tears running down her cheeks.

"What do we do about that whining brat, master?" Karl asked, bowing his head.

"It seems like the pressure of watching someone die, was to much for her to bare. She's no good, crazy people don't taste to

good, just let her cry herself to death."

" Master." Lena bowed. "What's the plan?"

" Will, my 5th rankers, capture Ryan and his group members. They will trust you, and let their guards down enough for me to

attack. 'Great L's' you are to remove the orbs from their bodies. My other fighters, along with Hikari, Lounaru and Keith will

just have fun destroying them."

Lima held the shivering children close, there was only around four or five, but still they were hard to take care off.

"Ok...Kimmy, John, Harold, Jim. Tim...Henry....Wait!! Were is Henry!?"

"....Outside...Miss. Lima..." Kimmy whimpered.

" Oh no! Stay right here! Lima be right back!"

Lima ran down the hall, Panicked, she spotted the red haired boy down the hall from the class.

"Henry!!!" Lima hissed. "Get back hear, oh please!!"

"Kay missy!!" The boy grumbled, running back to her, but paused halfway, his eyes widening.

"MISSY!!!"

"Huh?" Lima turned around behind her, she caught a glance of a boy with a orange afro and green eyes. "Hey your 5th ranker

Rex Larox...what---Uhhh!?"

The elf girl was knocked out by the boys huge fist. The little boy took a few steps backward, trembling. Rex glanced at him

from the corner of his brown eyes, holding Lima's limp form in his arms.

"...Go back with the other children, if you want to try and live."

Ryan slashed at a few of the demons which were swarming into the school, pieces of their bodies laid scattered on the ground

in bloody chunks of fleshy meat.

"Explosion!!" Ruto summoned, quickly casting the spell and twirling around to whip an enemy which was coming up from

behind her.

"There is just to many of them! I'm not sure how much longer we can last, Ryan!"

Ryan dispatched three of the demons heads with one twirl, before answering. "We can't give up, we have to keep fighting and

stop them from going into the school!"

" I only hope that Squall and Lemon can get the ones the we miss....and that no one gets hurt...."

' Me too, Ruto....me too....I don't want to see anyone else die either....'

"Oh.....MAGICAL ORBS OF LIGHT!!!" Carrie exclaimed in her panic as many lesser demons crawled towards her and Mimi, a couple of

injured students stood behind them, whimpering and moaning in pain.

"Mimi, I'm going to do 'Razor.' It'll destroy anyone close range around me, get back and heal the students, I'll take care of

these creeps."

The fairy Half nodded, backing away from Carrie she dropped to her knees next to one of the injured students.

"Be careful, Carrie."

"I will." The young girl nodded, and watched as the lesser monsters circled around her, closing her eyes, she took her two

golden rings in her hands which began to glow along with her. The monsters stood around her confused, as she opened her

glowing brown eyes,

"SPIN!!! SPIN!!!! SPIN!!!!!' She exclaimed twirling around in a super fast circle, her magically empowered rings slicing threw

her enemies like they were nothing.

Mimi's eyes widened with horror at the meaty chucks and fresh blood which were falling to the floor, and with a soft whimper

she put her hands to her face. "Oh!! How horrible!"

".....Why do you care about them, They are evil."

Mimi jumped at the voice behind her but, put a hand to her chest in relief when she saw who it was.

"Tommy! I thought....you were one of them....I don't want to have to kill anyone, so I'm glad it's you."

"....Why should you care about the lives of Taromecika's followers? They are evil. Kill them, evil lives does not worth

much."

Mimi frowned at his statement. " That is not true...!!"

"What? That their lives worth something?"

"No! That they are evil."

"Huh?"

"There is no such thing as good and evil, it's just to sides sharing different point of views....I think...I think what Taromecika is

doing....I think he thinks he's doing good....I know....It's sounds stupid...but, I really do believe that....What he's doing is not

right, but he can't be called evil, when he believes he's doing good."

Tommy began to chuckle.

"Really? Well....I think your crazy, pink-doll."

"....Ahhhhh...." Mimi's eyes widened in surprise as she was trapped in a head lock, the boy's arm wrapped so thigh around her

throat, her breathing stopped as she collapsed.

Carrie meanwhile was coming to stop to her spinning, but was still spinning around dizzily.

"Spinny....Spinny....spin--!!! MIMI!!!"

Carrie's eyes widened as she spotted her friend trapped in the grip of a tall boy with dark green hair, tied up in a pony tail, with

blue eyes and dark brown and black clothes.

"You!!! Your one of the 5th rankers! What are you doing to Mimi!! LET HER GO!!!"

"Ca....Carrie...!! Be...behind....behind you!"

"Eh?"

Behind her, stood a teenage girl, an year or so younger then Tommy, she had red hair tied up in to a medium length pony-tail, a

revealing two piece red female-gladiator suit, and large red eyes.

Carrie paused shocked as the girl leaned over, giving her a deep kiss on the cheek.

"That, my sweetie, is called Rose's 'death kiss.' "

The next thing the young girl knew was a sharp pain in her side, looking down she saw that the girl, Rose, had plunged her

Katana deep within her side. It missed her internal organs fortunately, but the pain and blood lost, will still enough to cause her to

pass out, falling forward into Rose's arms.

"Good, job, Rose, my lovely flower, let's bring these to mice to their cages."

"Heh-heh sure thing sugar-lips."

Meanwhile, the rest of the groups were battling, but the endless swarms of Taromecika's followers always came.

Ruto panted tiredly, at last their were no more enemies coming in at the front gates. Ryan fell to his knees exhausted, beads of

sweat and blood rolling down his face.

"Ryan...let's rest for a moment before helping Lemon and Squall."

"Ok....."

"Hey....Ryan....um.....I know It's not the best time to bring it up, but....about that night...you know....at the motel....why....why

did you....and why did not never speak to me about it after.....actually, you hardly speak to me at all anymore....."

Ryan turned beat red in the face, he knew he wouldn't be able to keep it a secret forever, but at all times like this, why did she

chose now?

".....It was a foolish accident....I...If I could turn back time, I would never have touched you like that....Let's just forget that

night ever happened."

He was unprepared for what came next, a sharp sting across his face, Ruto stared back at him, tears shining in her eyes, she

turned away from him and ran into the school, leaving a trail of her sparkling tears glowing in the sunlight behind her.

She did not yell, or say anything....her silence being much worse of a punishment she could have thrown at him.

"Ruto.....? RUTO!!!!"

Lemon and Squall finished off the last of their attackers in time to see a sobbing Ruto run past them.

"Hey Maya!!!!" Lemon exclaimed, but she did not slow down.

"RUTO!! COME BACK!!!!" Ryan cried, stumbling, and falling to the floor as he ran into the building after the girl.

"Hey!! What happened to Maya?" Lemon asked, as Squall knelt next to Ryan pulling him to his feet.

"I need to find her...we uh....had sort of a misunderstanding."

"Maya, never runs off crying, but something tells me this is not a simple matter, but it's not my business what it is. All I now

is that I'm worried about her, and we better find her." Lemon spoke seriously with concern.

"Yes, we have to hurry, before Taromecika can get a hold of her."

Ruto ran down the halls, her eyes blurry with tears. 'Ryan....I thought....I thought you cared more for me then that....But I

guess...I guess your just like everyone else. There is no such thing as true kindness, people are only kind to get something in

return, money, food, items, friendship, of even self-satisfaction....no one really cares about others....Ryan....I.....I love

you.....I'm such a fool....' She slowly stopped running and fell up against the wall, sobbing.

"....Mission completed." Alex said, refilling his smoking gun.

Genki cracked his knuckles, a grin plastered to his face. "Great! Now what?"

"...AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!"

Alex looked up in horror. "That is Princess Marie-Maya's voice!"

"It's coming from down the hall."

Alex got his gun ready. " Let's go!"

The two of them arrived in the hall, but it was empty except for Lounaru, who stood there with a huge grin on his crazy face.

"Where is Marie-Maya?" Alex demanded, aiming his gun.

"Your to laaaaaate." The mad man chuckled in a sing song voice. "We already captured her, and the rest of the girls on your

team.

"Mimi!?"

"No! Marie-Maya!"

"I do want to kill you, but I've been given my orders not to, just yet. But I did come to deliver this message."

Everyone in the building stopped as Lounaru's voice echoed threw out the school walls, in a loud, haunting voice.

"Come to the headmasters room, and try and reclaim your friends....Their orbs are already being removed."

Lemon and Squall watched as he began to run towards a elevator.

Taromecika smiled, gazing at Lima, Carrie and Mimi who laid stripped of their clothes in the corners of a large hexagram.

".....'Great L's' send the 5th rankers back to headquarters, they aren't needed anymore, for now. Hikari, Lounaru, when Ryan

and his friends come up hear, make them bleed."

"Yes." The servants bowed and quickly went to work.

They had met up with Genki and Alex in the elevator and they were all heading upward, not saying a word, all lost in their own

thoughts and fears. The door opened, and they walked into the room, spotting the girls laying on the floor.

"MIMI!!!!!!" Genki screamed, dashing towards her, but was blasted into a wall by a powerful magical attack.

Hikari giggled, as she and Lounaru stepped out of the darkness.

"There is no way you can win! ORB HOLDERS, FALL TO YOUR KNEES IN PAIN!!!!!" Lounaru laughed, a strong fire

attack engulfed the whole group, causing them all to fall to the floor, unable to even open their eyes, except for Ryan, who

stood, covering his face with his hands, but slowly looked up amazed, at the fact he didn't even gain a scratch and even more

surprised at the dark shield the had suddenly surrounded his body.

".....Keith?" Taromecika's voice rang out of the darkness questionably.

Keith appeared out of the shadows, his being, his soul, seeming one with the darkness which surrounded his person.

".....I wish to be the one who brings him to his knees, Father."

Ryan's eyes widened shocked, his mouth dropped open, and he could barley remain standing from the surprise he could feel

washing over him.

"Keith...."

Taromecika grinned, at the shocked expression which was plastered to the young demon half's face.

"Ok, son, beat him as much as you can, just don't kill him."

"I have no intention to kill him, yet, first I want him to see the would devoured by darkness."

"Keith....what....how? Why? Taromecika....is your father? How is it possible?"

"Oh Ryan, you poor fool." Keith laughed, taking his gun blade into his hand. " When I first starting the journey, at temple Anju,

I also was visited by a goddess, but not Key, I met, Saiyoua, I did not realize what she was trying to tell me at first, but now

everything is crystal clear! I belong to the darkness. I'm the son of darkness it's self."

"Keith!" Ryan growled. "Your not making any sense! You can't possibly Taromecika's son! You have no resemblance to a

demon at all!"

Keith laughed madly. " Things aren't what they appear Ryan."

Taromecika stepped forward. " Keith, is the result of mine and Saiyoua's love, he is the son of the demon-god and the dark

goddess. He has a human form, because just before Saiyoua was merged with Key, she used her powers to place our unborn

child inside the womb of human woman. That woman was related to the Brief family, but they started to get nosy about why their son was so strange, so we got rid of both Keith and innocence's parents. It was a play of faith for my son to end up so close to another of those with the dark blood, the one with the orb of innocence. Of course my son did not know about his true destiny or his true self until a little while ago, but now he knows and he is with his true family now."

Ryan stared shocked, unable to think straight. Keith was the son of a demon god and the dark goddess, he just could not

believe it. He just couldn't....another with dark blood...what? H couldn't take this all in at once.

"Keith we always fought....but deep down....you were....you were one of my best friends, I don't want to kill you..."

The son of darkness laughed louder. "That's rich, I was your friend. Is that why you took Mara from me? Is that why you

Ryan turned his head shocked, as Arisu and Nagisa step out of the shadows, taking their places by Keith's side.

"You two, traitors....you joined the forces of darkness too...." The demon-half growled, gripping his fists.

"...Ryan." Keith smirked. "Prepare to die."

The demon half did not have time or the will to scream, as Keith lunged his gun sword deep within his stomach.

Keith growled, angrily. "Why don't you fight back!?"

".......Your....your being used Keith....please, Saiyoua's will....the destruction of everything....doesn't that include

yourself.....herself.......Stop this, please."

"Foolish!" Keith sneered, striking Ryan again with his weapon, blood trickled down the boys mouth, his face hidden by the

shadows of his bangs.

"....Ryan, don't tell me your out of it already." Keith taunted, removing his blade.

"....Tell me where Ruto is."

Ryan followed Keith gazed and saw Ruto chained to wall, stripped of her clothing, only her panties remaining, her head titled

downward, her eyes closed.

"She's a pain, but she is quite nice to look at." Keith teased. "Despite her like of a chest."

Ryan growled, feeling anger burn in his soul.

"What the?" Keith gasped, backing away as the talisman around the demon-half's neck began to glow, a burst of light shot from

it, sending Keith reeling backwards.

The twins dropped to his side, as the dark boy pushed himself of the ground, staring in contempt at the other boy.

"Ryan...you can join us, you can have everything you want...there is no need for you to die." Taromecika spoke calmly.

" My friends, my friends and Parfait is all I want! Release my friends and give me back Parfait!!"

"Parfait.....hmm, your sister....you don't have to worry about her, I have not done any harm to her. And your friends.....they

wont die when I remove the orbs. They'll be given the choice of joining me, if they refuse then they die."

"They would never join you! Just like I wont!"

"....Poor boy..." Taromecika sighed. " All you went threw to get the orbs, when all along it was my plot."

".....What?"

" 'The Great L's' practically ruled this school, because of Jabora's stupidity. They were my followers all along. They waited until

the day when the orb holders were strong enough to use their powers, and then we corrupted the 5th rank students, brought

out the darkness in their souls. Some were strong willed, like that boy you found in the training center, I had 'the great L's' kill

him, after he overheard our plot. Kathy Fernandez...the brainwashing went good with her, but as she died she came out of it, and

almost told our plot to you. The monsters in the training were also under my power."

Ryan closed his eyes in shame. " So we were fooled from the start, what about Jabora...."

"He's dead, he had no idea....The fool....but he made a good meal...you should try it Ryan...human emotions taste so good, try

it sometime."

Ryan looked over at the shriveled up corpse of Jabora and Yuu who was still rocking back and forth crazily, sobbing quietly.

"....I would rather eat pineapple....I loath pineapples."

Taromecika laughed. "Of course!! All demons HATES fruit, except for fruit which has become fine wine, of course. But

anyway, Ryan, it seems that you will not join me, that to bad. But I will allow you to watch as my love, is brought back into existence."

Ryan was flung against the wall, by a magical blow from the demon-god, blood coming from his mouth by the mighty force, as

he slumped to the floor, the last image he saw was of Ruto, before his vision became black.

Ryan groaned, as he opened his eyes, the first thing he saw as 'The great L's' dressed in dark robes, Lounaru, Hikari, Keith and

Taromecika stood with them, each of them standing over a different orb holder who was laid naked in the six corners and

center of the hexagram. He tried to walk forward but, found that he was chained down to the wall.

"No.....!!" he yelled, his voice small, weak and raspy.

"ORBS OF THE GODDESS, ARISE NOW!!!!" Taromecika exclaimed, raising his hands into the air, over Alex's body.

"ORBS OF THE GODDESS, ARISE NOW!!!!" The rest of his followers chanted doing the same thing.

Ryan, eyes wide, tears shining in them, as he watched, unable to do anything.

The orb slowly came out of Alex's body, it glimmered beautifully with the power of Key.

"Orb Of Kindness, become the orb of cruelness!"

The glowing rob, became black, and evil looking, it became an orb of Saiyoua.

Slowly all the other orbs, except for Genki's, floating out of their bodies.

"Orb Of Hope become the orb of despair!" Laura called

"Orb of Love, become the orb of hate!" Lexy continued, followed by Lena.

"Orb of Friendship, become the orb of enemies!"

"Orb of Truth, become the orb of deception!!" Lounaru commanded, bringing the orb out of his once follower's body.

"Orb of purity, become the orb of lust!!" Hikari summoned, turning the glimmering orb, a shining black like the rest.

Keith grinned, as he stood in the middle of the hexagram, Genki laying underneath him.

".....Now, next to the Orb of Light, this orb is the strongest of all....the orb and carrier which contains the light of Key....but the

blood of darkness....ORB OF INNOCENCE, BECOME THE ORB OF CORRUPTION!!!!!!"

Genki screamed as the orb floated out of his body, shining a shimmering black.

"Genki.....what does he mean....contains Key's light....but dark blood...." Ryan coughed.

Taromecika laughed. "Finally, my will, my wish, Saiyoua.....she will be resurrected."

Keith grinned. "All what we have to do, is join the orbs together."

"NO!!!" Ryan cried, struggling to get out of his bondage's. "You can't!! Please!!"

"Pitiful....Ryan....I can't believe you have the blood of a demon in your veins....Your sister Parfait....she was not as pitiful as

you....she's a true demon..." Taromecika scoffed.

Ryan's eyes widened. "No....Parfait....she wouldn't....she wouldn't join you.....Your lying. Show her to me!!"

"Enough of this idle chit-chat!!!" Keith exclaimed. " DARK ORBS, BECOME ONE, SHOW TO US, THE DARK

GODDESS SAIYOUA!!!!!!!"

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!" Ryan screamed in horror as he watched the orbs glow and then combine, forming a

dark slivery black cup, a large shining black orb within it, looking like a unholy grail of darkness.

A shining in the corner of his eye caught his attention, and slowly as it became brighter everyone in the room turned to look.

Ryan's face slowly turned from one of curiosity to confusion, then to shock.

"Ruto....?"

The girl was glowing black, slowly she raised her head, her expression drained, and her eyes clear and empty as crystal. The

chains that bound her snapped, the power surrounding her to much pressure for them to handle.

"What.....?" The twins blinked confused.

"This girl.....She is the one?" Taromecika asked surprised.

Keith smiled. "Mother."

Ruto continued towards the unholy grail, as if like a zombie, never showing any expression.

Slowly the other orb carriers opened their eyes but were all to weak to stand.

"....Marie-Maya....?" Alex groaned.

"Ruto?" Mimi asked, blinking confused.

"What....what happened...?" Carrie questioned.

"...Hey....what....Maya, please don't!!" Lemon exclaimed as she passed him, walking towards the grail.

" Ruto, snap out of it." Lima begged but did not get any response.

".......!! What is happening?"

"....." Genki groaned setting upward. "....!!!!! No!! I knew it....I knew it all along....!! Ruto....Ruto is the recantation of the two

goddess.....! Please don't touch that grail, if you do, Saiyoua can take full control over you!!!"

The emotions flowing threw Ryan's heart at that moment, could never be fully described, actually for the emotion he felt, there

was probably no name one could call it by that would explain it. It was an emotion to complex to understand, unless you felt it,

and if you felt it....it would be an emotion that would be with you for the rest of you life, but still you would not be able to give it

a name....but, then again, names are only something others call you by....it really did not need a name to know if you were to

feel it or not...no other emotion could ever be so terrible.

Ryan could feel something inside of him snap, and in tears his shouted

"RUUUUUTOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!"

"What's this!?" Taromecika gasped, as Ryan's chains snapped and he dashed towards Ruto, his eyes filled with tears.

Ruto stopped just in front of the grail and turned her head towards him, her eyes narrowed, and a soft black glowed threw the

empty ocean orbs.

Ryan could feel a powerful wave of darkness push him backwards and he crashed in the wall, causing it to crack, blood and

spit flying from his mouth, he tumbled to the floor. Looking upward, he extended his hand towards Ruto.

"RUTO NO!!!!!"

'Ryan!! Help me!!' he could hear Ruto's voice scream in his head as he watched her close her hands around the dark grail. The

whole area was filled with an dark light, causing the orb holders and him to cry out in pain, as the darkness tried to devour

them. As the darkness cleared, Ryan gasped as he looked at the newly transformed Ruto.

"Ryan!!!!!" Ruto's voice disappeared from his mind in a heart-breaking whimper.

Before them stood and twenty-year old woman, a pair of black wings sprouting from her back, at the end's of the large wings

were long arms and clawed hands, the woman's skin was pale, and her thick red lipstick made her look like she had just drank

someone's blood, her eyes were empty ocean orbs, that would give a WW2 solider nightmares if he were to gaze into them

long enough. Long raven hair surrounded her slim and perfect figure. Black scales covered her private area below, and the

same black scales covered her legs from below the knee to the ankles, as they covered the skin of her arms from her elbow to

her hands which had huge long, a sharp looking claws. Nine short black slithery snake-like tails danced around behind her, as

she raised her hands to her face to, putting one onto one of her large exposed breasts, she smiled.

"Hmmm, finally, I was getting tried of sharing that body with Key and that whiney brat, Marie-Maya. But still, until i get the stone I wont be able to go back to my true form."

"Saiyoua.... At last, I see you again...my beautiful goddess." Taromecika said, barley over a whisper, as he threw his arms

around her.

"Mother...at last, I see you. We are hear to fulfill your will."

"Yes, the destruction of all....But that cannot be done yet. I need more power. Being trapped like I was, I lost so much of my

power....I need the Magention of people...if I'm going to be able to recover to my full strength. Magention and the four peices of the true Goddess Stone hidden inside of four chosen ones..."

"Magention?" Nagisa questioned to her sister quietly.

" Magention...is....is people's souls....she's going to devour, people's souls." Arisu quietly explained.

"....And, I can never recover my full power as long as the power of light exists."

"Ruto..." Ryan sputtered up blood, climbing to his feet, his eyes wavering with tears that slowly trailed down his cheeks.

" Ryan, you lost, Ruto is gone, Saiyoua is hear." Taromecika taunted.

"Ruto is not gone.....!!"

"Kill him, 'The savoir of light....' The purest person in this world....he can not live. Destroy him." Saiyoua ordered, coldly. " We can't risk him living..."

"It'll be my pleasure." Lounaru grinned, looking over at the boy. For a spilt second the image of the little boy he saw before, in

the battle at Angeles appeared before his eyes.

"What?" He asked out loud, but was not noticed.

"....No....Let me be the one to kill him." Keith smiled, walking forward, his sword in hand. " The darkness shall rule, die

weak fool."

'No....I....I can't let it end like this....I can't let the darkness rule over the world...I know Ruto is still alive....that she's still

their....if only, if only I had some more time....NO!!! I can't give up!! RUTO!!!!!!'

Everyone in the group gasped as a bright light surrounded Ryan, halting the forces of evil in their tracks, and suddenly everyone

else in the group began to glow and then....they all disappeared.

As the light faded Saiyoua and her followers looked around questionly, but no one, no one was there.

The group stood in a valley, over looking river, they had no idea where they were but none of them cared, all what they knew

was, that they lost.

"....I can't believe it, after all we went true, we failed." Carrie commented, tears in her eyes. "I'm sorry, Kathy...everyone...I

could not avenge you deaths...."

"If only I was not so weak...so useless, then maybe I could have helped...." Mimi sobbed.

" Marie-Maya....I failed in my mission to protect you...."

".....Maya....I promised you when I was young, I would look out for you....I guess I lied to you....I was not able to save you."

"............." Squall looked towards the water shamefully.

"Oh, Ruto." Lima cried.

"I...I could feel something different about her all along...if only...if only I had been more aware...then perhaps I could have

stopped this." Genki cursed pounding his fist on the ground. `Messiah, I'm sorry...'

".....Ruto..." Ryan sobbed quietly. "I never got to say sorry....I can't believe....I can't believe it is all over now...."

"It is not over, just yet."

The group turned around surprised, the red headed man in the black cape stood behind them, beside him two twenty-year

olds, one with short brown hair and green eyes, wearing black spandex shorts and a lose white boyish tank-top, a strong

muscled and very male like body, made the girl appear like a boy. and the other girl had purple hair and tan eyes wearing a white

cheerleading skirt and a blue belly-button, no sleeved shirt, with a red strip in the centre and a bright yellow star in the middle of

the red strip.

"Who are you?"

" I'm Cid...the former savoir of the light, and these two are Kim." He gestured towards the short haired one. "And Amy." He

gestured towards the lady-like one.

"We're the missing orb holders, the protectors of the orbs of Destiny." Kim said, in a gruff, yet unmistakably female voice.

"And Faith." Amy continued, her voice soothing like the wind's breeze.

"They may be the only one's able to save this world now." Cid said quietly, looking up at the moon and the earth which hung in the

blue sky above.
