Chapter Fifty-two: What Vanished On The last Day

Saiyoua stood on the balcony, staring up at the fiery Oisa, who neared closer to the earth. It would soon fall, and everything....everything she fought for, everything she suffered so long for would finally be done. There was no way she could be stopped. No one, not even the guardian of light himself, not the girl whose flesh she had inhabited. Not anyone would stop what was happening. No one would stop her wish from coming true. She wouldn't let them. Key was dead...the goddess stone broken into dozens of tiny shards. There was no way she would be imprisoned again inside of human flesh and be forced to watch as her children Earth and Gaia suffered anymore at the hands of these diseases.

She listened as the silence was broken as doors opened and loud foot steps came running into the room.

"SAIYOUA!!"

She turned her head slightly, smirking as she spotted Ryan. "So I see Key has left her mark on you little puppet. Your no longer a puppet to me, but to Key. Big improvement." Saiyoua laughed stepping away from the balcony to stand before Ryan and his friends.

The group growled, and Ryan clenched his sword, taking up a fighting stance, ready to strike. Blood flowed threw his veins at a quick rate and he could hear his heart beating heavily against his chest. This was it...this was the final battle.

"I am not a puppet to anyone, good or evil." Ryan spoke calmly. "I fight for what I believe in, I fight with my heart and soul as one. I will fight to the end to protect all those I love."

"And what of I?" Saiyoua hissed. " Surely you can see, I fight to protect what I love. These planets are my children. I wont allow human's to fester inside of my babies like diseases anymore!"

"We're the diseases!?" Ruto snarled, stepping up beside Ryan. " Your poisoning the planet more then humans are! Don't you see that by removing all the souls from the planet and taking out Magention from the life stream you will destory Gaia!? The planet needs the souls of those whom die to live. If Oisa sucks the souls out of everyone then what will be left!? The planet will turn barren and become dust!!"

"QUITE, VESSEL!!!" Saiyoua roared, striking Ruto in the stomach with a sphere of dark energy.

"Ruto!" Ryan cried out worriedly as the girl staggered back.

"No...I'm ok, don't worry." Ruto regained her compositor quickly, and stood back by Ryan's side, facing Saiyoua.

"Why would you know about my children!? Have you ever seen Gaia and Earth from the lonely depths of space!? Maybe to you disgusting parasites Gaia seems huge and grown up, able to take care of it's self, but if you saw it from my point of view you would see it, a small little part of the big cold and lonely universe. It's a small child, all alone and frightened, having it's mother taken away from it! Left to fend for it's self with humans festering inside of it like a disease. Slowly killing it...making it suffer for thousands of years, as you abuse and scar it not caring about the planet it's self but for your own selfish purposes. The planets and humans will die if things continue how they are, but at least this way the planet can be saved! Gaia will be able to rest and return to it's former beauty and tranquillity."

" And only allow scorpions and insects to remain!?" Ryan growled at her. "What good is a planet where nothing can live!? Saiyoua, you want to destory everyone...no matter how young, how innocent, how kind, you want everyone to die regardless if they ever harmed the planet or not. Your a monster!!!"

"I'M THE MONSTER!?" Saiyoua shrieked. "Look at you humans, you will see who the true monster is! Right now I am fighting to save my children's lives, but there are some human's whom will kill their own child. There are humans whom kill each other for power, money, and other selfish reasons. Human's kill the trees and rip apart the soil and put in place machines and cities for themselves. They take animals and hold them in cages, then kills them, not giving them a chance to defend themselves, and then eats their flesh, regardless if they are still babies or not. then we get the most sickening type of human whom believes themselves are gods, and plays god by taking what makes my planets beautiful and creating their own artificial things, filling it with cells of their own and the cells of animals, creating for themselves cancerous foods. There are humans who willingly turn themselves into machines for power, not caring if they give up to their souls, and there are those whom create machines and feel as though they created life. All what humans are is disgusting parasites. Think of Gaia as a single host and you all are parasites breeding and running uncontrolled over it's surface and a Parasite always ends up killing off what gave it's it vital source of life. But the exterminator is hear to kill the fleas!"

"...Human's can be bad at times, and we can take advantage of what we have, but human's are also the only species whom will give their lives to protect someone else!!" Ryan exclaimed intensely.

"...Human's are just disgusting. You hate the darkness but humans are what brings forth the darkness."

"What are you talking about?" Ruto asked slowly.

"The anger, hate, greed, and darkness you humans bring forth is what creates true evil! You humans are evil and I can prove my words!"

"And how do you plan to do that!?" Ryan growled.

"Oisa would not have came other wise. I would not have been able to summon him."

"What!?" The group gasped shocked.

"It's true." Saiyoua spoke calmly. "Oisa is the darker part of the life stream, born from a small piece of Messiah, but is made powerful by the evil souls whom entered into the life stream. He is the giver of justice, he will destory all those who are evil. It's not my fault human's fall under that category. It will be a revolution for the world."

Ryan clenched his fists. "Even if your right, you have no right deciding our faith. We can decide our own destinys on our own! We don't need your revolution."

"DO YOU THINK I CARE ABOUT WHAT YOU WANT!?!?"

"....................."

"I DON'T GIVE A DAMN IF HUMANS BEG FOR MY REVOLUTION OR IS THEY WANT TO TRY AND SLAUGHTER ME FOR IT!! OISA IS GOING TO FALL AND WIPE YOU ALL OUT!!"

Ruto growled. " Saiyoua! I was once part of you so I know what you planned. You don't intend on dying when Oisa falls. You know your evil and that is why you planned on sacrificing Keith, making Oisa taste his power and believe it to be you!"

"............."

"AND YOU CALL YOURSELF A GODDESSES!?!?!?!"

"BE QUITE!!!!" Saiyoua exclaimed, tossing another black sphere at the girl, but it was reflected by Ryan's sword.

"Saiyoua we are prepared to die to fight for what we believe in, but you would rather save your own flesh. We have friendship, Love, purity, hope, truth, kindness and innocence on our side, and all you have is hate and darkness. In the name of the light and humanity it's self!! We will defeat you!!"

The group took on a fighting stance.

"I did many horrible things when I was still in my pack. I slaughtered humans, I attacked and killed and I enjoyed it. I hated humans because of what a few did to me. I let hate and anger control my heart, and then even after I came to my senses I still was afraid to trust others believing them to horrible as was most species were towards man-beasts, but then I released not everyone had a bad heart and that even the worst of people could change their ways! I wont let you destory everyone, not when there are those whom still has the chance to change their ways!!" Squall spoke, a blue light shimmering around him.

" I'm not free of sin and my hands has been stained with blood more times then I could count. I killed so much, people began to call me `the god of death' because everywhere I went I ended up killing someone. I wont say I am evil though, because if I was I would not care if everyone on this planet died. I know because of my vampire blood I could survive Oisa's crash into earth, but I fight because there are people I care about and love!! I wont let your dark influence take over the heart or souls of others anymore! Unlike before I wont hide, but fight you until the last breath inside my body!!" Lemon glowed orange, his face set in a determent expression.

"Humans are the only one who will give their lives for others. Genki gave his life to protect me and I wont let it be for nothing. I learnt that life, no matter how short it is, is one of the most precious things we have and every life is important. To you our lives, as horrible as they can be at times, are nothing, but...They are everything to us!!" Mimi shimmered pink, holding her rose sword thightly in her hands. `Genki please be with me.'

"I once joined you because I believed in what you were saying...." Rose spoke slowly. "Because I loved Gaia, but joining you caused me to do such horrible things....things I can never be forgiven for. I still love Gaia but I started thinking, what good is a planet that is lifeless and empty? For Gaia and for earth I will destory you!"

"I...I once allowed hate and anger to control me...and I did a terrible sin because of it. There is no way I can make up for killing my family....but I can stop you from destroying the world, so other families wont be broken apart!! For children and families everywhere whom hold each other close, for all those families gathered outside, starring up at Oisa thinking they are going to die, I will defeat you!!" Carrie cried, shimmering white.

"I may not be that smart...I may let others down alot, I may be a flake and unreasonable but I don't hate anyone in this world...I believe no one in this world is truely evil. That everyone has some good in their hearts. I still remember how everyone in the world had their hearts as one to build that rocket hopeing to save their world...but even though it failed and their hopes were crushed they are all still standing together, their hearts still as one. I for that love in which all things on the planet share I will fight to the end!" A red glow surround Lima's body as she spoke.

" I held both you and Key in my flesh...but somehow I still am my own person. I feel responable for what has happened, I keep thinking that maybe if I was just a little bit stronger, if I had a little more control I could have stopped you from taking over me and doing all these horrible things, but now...I know it's not my fault...it is yours and yours alone! You used people like toys to get your way, even Taromecika was used and then discarded of, and without him you would never even had been able to rise again. Just like a parasite you are...without humans you could never have come back into existence and now you look to destory them." Ruto's body brightly shimmer with an silver energy as she formed her words, each word coming being spoken by her very soul.

"We are the lights in the darkness..." Ryan slowly began to raise his sword into the air. "The hopes of the universe..." Golden light erupted from his body and he began to transform back into the state he was in when he defeated Keith. "ALLY TO GOOD, NIGHTMARE TO YOU!!!"

Saiyoua slowly floated upward into the air. "OH HOW DRAMATIC!!! BUT PRETTY SPEECHES WONT SAVE YOU!!! DO YOU THINK PITIFUL HUMANS HAS ANY HOPE IN DEFEATING A GODDESSES!?!? FEEL MY WRATH, INSECTS!!!!!"

The crowd outside gasps, as they saw from the top of the goddesses tower explosions of light and darkness.

"It looks like the final battle is beginning." Lena looked upward, staring at the battle ground.

"I hope everyone will be ok...." Holly trailed off worriedly.

"Ryan...." Parfait whimpered.

"............." Aria remained quite, just staring up at the sky.

"I know..." Bra began. "I know they will win...they can't.... they wont loose..."

Colt stared up at the goddesses tower. `Why is it they fight....? I still don't understand....

why is it they fight when it is impossible to win....?'

"MAGICAL ORBS OF LIGHT!!!"

"WATER TWISTERS!!!"

Saiyoua hissed batting away the two attacks as though they were nothing, and turning them back on Carrie and Lima sending them sprawling out onto the floor, with painful cries.

Squall, turned into a wolf dashed towards her, clawing at her but was batted away like a fly, and was sent crashing into the ground. While she was distracted Lemon ran up behind her, and jumped into the air, bringing down his scythe, however the sheer power that surrounded her was enough to cause him to go crashing back into the wall.

"BUBBLES!!!" Lima cried, back on her feet, showering the area in a thick mist.

"MAGICAL CRYSTALS!!!"

"ROSE PASSION!!!"

"DIE!!" Saiyoua growled enraged, summoning an dark spear of energy and struck Lima, Mimi, Carrie, and Rose back into the walls, causing each to cry out in pain.

*Think! But the brilliance does not last forever

Unaware Someday something shall be lost

If we do not seek our love it will disappear *

They fight even though they know they can't win....

"AHHH!!!" Ryan screamed charging at Saiyoua with his sword, cutting her, but causing little damage and was flung backwards.

"Ryan!!' Ruto cried. "DRAGON SLAVE!!!!"

"Reflect!" Saiyoua exclaimed, bringing a shield up around her, and sent Ruto's own attack crashing into her. With a scream, she was thrown backwards and fell against Ryan, with a groan.

"GIVE UP, AND FACE YOUR FAITHS!!" Saiyoua screamed, batting away Mimi and Rose who charged at her sides with their swords drawn.

"NEVER!!!" Lemon screamed, jumping into the air bringing his scythe down just to be thrown away from her like all the others. Squall slammed into her side with his head, causing her stagger slightly before she turned her rage on her and blasted him against the wall with her dark magic.

"We wont let you win!!" Lima screamed, dashing forward. " ICE BOMB!!"

Saiyoua extended her hand to stop the attack. The only damage Lima's powerful ice bomb did was to make her fingers cold, but that was enough to make Saiyoua angry and Lima was sent flying backwards a mile by an dark sphere of pure energy.

Music only heard by the heart whispers

Shining kindness

Waltz of the air and beat of the heart *

Is it because they are to proud to accept defeat....?

Ryan raised his sword into the air. "LIGHT ARTERY!!!!!"

"HOLY!!!" Ruto exclaimed raising her hands up, forming a sliver energy between her palms which took on the form of a cross.

Her and Ryan's attacks mixed together crashing into Saiyoua with great force, however as the light cleared they saw that all it did was bloody her hand.

"RAZOR PETALS!!!"

"MAGICAL ORBS OF LIGHT!!!"

Once again the magical attacks were batted away, but annoyed and tired of the attacks Saiyoua sent out a attack which looked like black blades of energy. Before they could even move, the blades ripped across Mimi, Carrie's and Rose's flesh, sending them crashing to the ground in bleeding heap.

Growling Lemon and Squall dashed forward, but were wiped out before they could even strike her. Lemon by a dark energy spear which impaled him threw chest, lucky missing his heart by a few inches and Squall by an energy blast which sent him crashing back into the wall, turning back into his human form.

"NO!! MY FRIENDS!! YOU'LL PAY!!! ICE STORM!!!"

Even Saiyoua was forced to shield herself from the wind and chucks of ice needles which hurled at her.

"Enough of this!!" Saiyoua hissed, breaking up her hand. "DARKNESS WAVE!!"

Lima groaned with pain, bring up her to hands as she tried to shield herself from the attack, as pure dark energy washed over her. After a few moments her defensives gave up and with a scream, she was thrown backwards, hitting the wall, leaving a blood streak behind on it as she slid down.

Holding hands Ryan and Ruto slowly approached the Goddess, white wings unfolded from Ruto's back as she began to intensely glow silver as Ryan glowed golden.

"LIFE POWER!!!!" They screamed together. The attack was powerful and shimmered brilliantly. Saiyoua gazed at it surprised as it crashed into her. The force of it causing blood to gush out from her mouth. With an growl of rage she raise up her hand.

"SINFUL SHOWER!!!"

Ruto screamed as the great force of Saiyoua's darkness hammered down on them. Ryan groaned with pain, but used his body to shield Ruto's. The pain was intense and they could barely take it, and then after a few moments, they too went down.

*Think! But man does not last forever

If we do not save it something will crumble

This calm will also hint of a black flame...

Wow For I love you in the dream of the earth

Wait...I think I understand now....they fight not because of pride or because they think they can win, they fight because.....

"See I told you, you couldn't beat me." Saiyoua grinned, looking down at the group whom laid on the ground, beaten, battered and bloody. "You should never of even tried."

"N...No..."

Saiyoua looked startled, as slowly Ryan pulled himself to his feet.

"Y...You will never win."

Ruto was next, climbing to her feet. "You can't defeat us...you never will."

Saiyoua's eyes widened in shock and fright as one by one each member got to their feet.

"Your darkness will never surpass us." Squall got to his feet, helping Lemon to his.

"Yeah...even if you manage to kill our bodies you will never defeat us or what we are. More and more people will always come to fight you."

"Humans are not as useless and pathetic as you think they are." Carrie stood bravely.

" As long as we are willing to fight, everyone of us, we will never loose!" Rose exclaimed.

"Everyone on earth and Gaia has love in their hearts...and each and everyone will fight against you...no matter what...everyone's hearts are connected." Lima was the next to stand, followed lastly by Mimi.

"As long as we work as a team, and refuse to give up, you can never win."

"What!? How can this be!?" Saiyoua cried. "How can you all be standing!?"

"Saiyoua." Ryan spoke. "This is the end, no more shall your darkness poison the hearts of all living things."

They fight because, they live!

Ryan and Ruto joined hands, each glowing gold and silver. Behind them their friends also joined hands, closeing their eyes, and each one began to glow with their own power. blue, orange, red, pink, white, and purple.

"YOU WONT DEFEAT ME!!" Saiyoua screamed. "I CALL ON OISA, THE ULTIMATE DARKNESS, INFUSE ME WITH POWER!!! AHHHHHHHH!!!!" Dark light shimmered around Saiyoua's body, glowing intensely. "THE DARK EXECUTIONER!!!!"

"SOUL OF HUMANITY!!!" Ryan shouted his power, and the power of all his friends filling his winged sword, causing the blade to turn to sheer magical energy and dissolve, as the sword turned into an magical orb he held in his hands. It was strainfull to hold, and groaning Ruto reached out, holding his hands, helping him hold the energy as their power along with the power of their friends helped charge it. The talisman of light glowed intensely, creating a barrier of light around them to shield them from Saiyoua's ultimate attack. But...the shield was beginning to break...and they all knew, though their power was strong...it was not enough to defeat Saiyoua's.

Bra gasped. "I think this is the final confrontation!!"

"Oh my god....they are both so powerful...." Holly put a hand to her mouth.

"Saiyoua is still the stronger though...They can't win...they can't win on their own." Lena sobbed, eyes filling with tears.

"They aren't alone!!" Colt suddenly exclaimed, from where he leaned against the house. "We are all there for them!! We all live, so we should all fight! Let's support them!!!" Colt's body began to shimmer purple with energy.

"Your right!" Bra agreed. " We all live, we should all fight!"

"Your right!" Lena nodded. " We live on Gaia to! We should fight just like they are!"

"We have to fight our own battles and not rely on others!" Holly realized.

"Yes! But not only for ourselves, but fight for everyone!" Parfait exclaimed.

One by one each member began to shimmer purple, except for Aria whom watched shocked and confused. The people of Angeles looked at them stunned, not knowing what to do or what to say. Parfait turned towards them, shouting.

"WE STILL HAVE HOPE, BUT IF WE DON'T WANT TO LOOSE IT, WE HAVE TO GIVE AND ATTACK WITH EVERYTHING WE HAVE!! JUST LIKE THE PEOPLE FIGHTING SAIYOUA RIGHT NOW, WE CAN FIGHT TOO!!!!"

"You right!"

"I'm tired of hiding!"

"We will win together!"

Slowly, like candles being lit, each and every person in the city began to glow, offering their energy to the brave souls fighting to save all of Gaia.

"Arisu..." Nagisa pasued, looking up at the sky in wonder. "Look, they are both so powerful....can they win?"

Arisu fallowed her gaze. "It seems like Ryan has defeated, Keith. But...I don't know if he can defeat a goddess."

"Can't we do anything?"

"Yes...we can offer our energy and help fight against her."

The two twins began to shimmer purple, offering almost all their energy to Ryan to help him fight.

Maria stood in the city of Angelo, staring up at the light show of the two powerful forces which shimmered in the air all over the world. Slowly she and everyone else in the city began to glow.

The students at Marlo magic school watched, faces frozen in serious expressions, as they too began to offer their energy to those fighting.

Everyone all over Gaia was offering their energy fighting for the same cause to save their lives, the lives of those they loved and the planet it's self.

Ryan and the group were trying with all their streangth to get enough energy into the orb, Ryan and Ruto were struggling to hold it, when the shield broke. they screamed fearing death but suddenly the orb they held in their hands tripled in size, growing more powerful then they could ever have made it on their own. It barely held Saiyoua's attack away from them, but dispite the strength, they needed more power!

Parfait gasped staring up at the sky as another ball of purple energy charged towards the Neo Goddess tower.

"What is that!?"

Lena stared in awe, putting her hand to her mouth. "Not only everyone on Gaia is helping to fight, but everyone from earth as well....People from all over both planets are helping to defeat the darkness!!"

Ryan and Ruto screamed as did the rest of the group as more power entered into the orb they held, making it ten times the size it was before. It was so powerful, it took all of their will power to hold it. It began to push back Saiyoua's evil magic but it still....it still was not strong enough yet.

Aria gazed up at the sky, then raised her hands up into the air, her horn shimmering. "IT'S TIME NOW!!! TIME FOR THE TRUE POWER OF THE LIFE STREAM!!!"

Silver magic erupted from the earth, filling the skies.

Ryan could barely hold the orb anymore, it's power was too intense, and it sent pains flowing threw every nerve of his body, but if he let go now...Saiyoua would win.

Suddenly he felt a new support, as someone else took his hand. He turned, and gasped surprised as he saw the ghostly figure of Mara, holding his hand, giving some of her support and power to him. She smiled at him, nodding.

`We are all hear Rya' she spoke, even though she did not move her lips.'

`All of us will fight.'

"Alex!" Ruto gasped surprised, as the ghostly form of the solider laid his hand on her own. Behind them ghosts of everyone they meet and even those who and even those they didn't know were appearing behind them. Kathy, Cid, Lou, Jabora, Karen, even Taromecika, Anna-may, Pai-Pai, Rio, Quion, Laura, Kim, Amy, Mimi's family, Yuu, Rex, Tommy, Karl, Samantha and Koh. Even the soul of the real Ryan was there everyone from the life stream was fighting along side of them. Everyone from the life streams of both planets.

Mimi looked around herself, and suddenly felt arms warp around her waste. She turned, eyes filling with tears as she saw Genki. He looked different, hair loose, silver circlet around his forehead, a sliver stone in the center of his head, he looked....

"Genki...." Her eyes filled with tears.

"I'm hear for you Mimi...I want you to stop crying, I want you to go on with your life...You don't have cancer anymore, and I returned Link from the life stream...live happy...."

"Genki...I love you so much..." She sobbed.

Genki smiled sadly. "I love you too Mimi, I always will."

"Genki what is happening hear? What is this power?"

"This." Genki spoke loudly enough for the whole group to hear. "This is the power of the life stream, Messiah is not going to return, her soul was part of the goddess stone, she was hear all this time...but she won't be returning to the life stream, and therefore, she made me...the angel of innocence, the new god of the life stream, and so therefore now I deliver the ultimate destruction! The force of all souls combined with the power of all living things united as one!!"

Saiyoua screamed in horror and fear as the orb Ryan and Ruto held grew to a hundred sizes that it was originally, and the power was unleashed, easily breaking threw her darkness and engulfing her and the whole planet in a bright light. As she was slowly engulfed she cursed at them the words.

"You may have defeated me! But you haven't won!!"

Ryan groaned, pushing himself off of the ground. He did not know how long he was out of it, but as he looked around the room he noticed that all the souls of the life stream was gone, save for one, and that all of his friends were slowly pushing themselves upward. Saiyoua laid in the corner of the room, crumbled and pathetic looking, unmoving. They...won..?

"I'm sorry..." Genki looked away from them. "Oisa is to powerful for even the life stream to defeat....we can't....."

"So your saying that even after all that, we are all going to die anyway!?" Rose shrieked.

"It can't be..." Lima's eyes shimmered with tears.

"No!" Lemon hit the floor with his fists. "Not after all we went through! It can't end like this!"

"There has to be away!" Squall denied.

"If we are just all going to be killed anyway why did we even fight!?" Carrie sobbed.

"Genki...." Mimi slowly approached him. "Is there away? Anyway at all?"

"....Yes...but....if the original Messiah strikes Osia head on, with all her power, Oisa will be destroyed...but so will Messiah...." Genki looked almost near tears.

"Genki...Who is Messiah?' Ryan asked slowly.

"............" The boy closed his eyes and shook his head. "I....I...wish I could tell you....but I can't...." his body slowly started to grow transparent and fade.

"No! Genki!" Mimi cried, throwing her arms around him. "Please don't go, don't leave me again!"

"Mimi...I don't have a choice...When I died I became the new god of the life stream and....and that is my cruel destiny. I could come back to Gaia...recreate flesh for myself...live again...but if I did, the life stream would dry up and both planets will die. But I want you to know Mimi, I will always be with you, and I will always love you."

"Genki...."

Slowly Mimi leaned forward, kissing his transparent lips. Genki kissed her back, tears trailing down both of their cheeks. As the kiss ended, Genki stood up, and looked at all his friends, then back at Mimi, eyes staring at her the longest as he silently faded away. Mimi cried softly, but not all of it was sad. She was happy that...at least she got to admit her feelings.

"What do we do now?" Carrie asked slowly, staring up threw the broken roof at the sky and Oisa whom was still coming down on them.

"What can we do...?' Ryan asked, his wings and armor gone. "......Maybe we should go....I don't want to die up hear in this tower..."

Sadly the group began to leave but Ruto stood still, not moving, just staring up at Oisa. Ryan noticed that she wasn't coming and turned around concerned as did the rest of their friends.

"Ruto...?"

"Ryan...I know who I am now. I know now how I could possess a soul, even though I was only born as a rebirth of the goddesses of light and dark."

"........Ruto?"

"I know now why Messiah disappeared....her soul was part of the goddess stone, and when Cid used it to combined the goddesses, he combined Messiah with them. That is why I could see the ghosts of our friends...and that was why Aria was able to send me to the dark ocean which is part of the life stream." She looked at the group threw wide eyes. "I'm Messiah...."

"What? Maya!?" Lemon gasped, as did the rest of the group.

Slowly Ryan approached her. "Ruto....what are you saying...?"

The young girl looked at him through tearful eyes. "Ryan...take care of Angel for me...Make sure she grows up to be a good girl."

"Ruto no!!" Ryan cried out as he realized what she was going to do.

"Ryan, I'm sorry..." Closeing her eyes she glowed with an intense silver light, and transformed, to a sliver winged angel, three sliver jewels embedded into her forehead, and long white silk dress, covered with diamonds in which sparkled like stars. She floated slightly off of the ground, still shimmering with power, both hands placed on her heart. Slowly she opened ocean eyes shimmering with tears.

"Ruto!!" Ryan dashed towards him, but the intense power surrounding her stopped him from reaching her. She gazed at him sadly.

"I'm sorry Ryan, that it has to be this way. I wish their was a way I could stay with you...but....to save earth and Gaia and all the people on it...I must do this...I know I will die....but, at least you, Angel and all our friends will live!"

"RUTO!!!" Ryan screamed out desperately, tears rolling down his eyes, as he once again tried to run towards her but was thrown back by her power.

"Goodbye Ryan!" Ruto cried tears rolling down her cheeks, flying up into the air, charging towards Oisa, the silver glow around her intensifying.

"NOOO!!!!! RUTO, DON'T!!! I LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Ryan cried out in agony and pain, the tears flowing down his face endlessly, as he watched Ruto fly towards her death.

Just before she crashed head on with Oisa she heard his words, and smiled, tears filling her eyes and rolling down her face. `After all this time...he finally says the words I wanted to hear since I met him...Ryan....'

She crashed into Oisa, breaking the dark meteor into nothing but splinters as white and dark light exploded. When the light cleared Ryan gaze up at the sky, eyes wide in shock. Oisa and Ruto were gone...he could not see either then, then like a gentle drizzle Ruto's silver feathers rained downward from the sky, landing around him like the petals of dying flower. With a sob, he fell to his knees, crying and trembling all over.

Everyone in the group stared in shock, some trembling, other's crying. Slowly one by one they left, unable to bare the pain. Ryan though remained on his knees, fists clenching the floor as he stared at the feathers, tears still rolling down his cheeks, as he silently cried. He sat there for what seemed like hours, just crying.

"Ruto...why...?....why....? Why did you have to die?"

"SHE WONT BE THE ONLY ONE TO DIE!!!!"

Ryan turned his head to the side slowly in shock and terror.

The group had just joined up with their friends, and were all crying about what happened when suddenly they felt a darkness fill the area, and they turned around, to see a dark glow coming from the goddess tower.

"Saiyoua!!" Lena gasped putting her hand to her mouth in horror.

Defenseless, Ryan desperately brought a hand up to shield himself from the half dead Saiyoua, expecting to feel intense pain at any moment. It never came. Opening his eyes slowly he gasped, seeing Keith standing before him. His eyes followed Keith's sword to the end of the blade to see that it had embedded it's self into Saiyoua's heart. The dark goddess's eyes grew wide with shock.

"Don't ever make me hurt my friends again, *mother* " Keith growled, removing his blade from Saiyoua who turned to dust. The goddess tower shook, and started to crumble. Turning to Ryan, who still sat on his knees, Keith spoke.

"Come on. We have to get out of hear, this place will collapse on us if we don't hurry." Keith began to leave, but saw that Ryan was not coming, the boy was still setting their as though in shock.

"Ryan, snap out of it!" He hissed, slapping to boy across the face whom hardly flinched. "Well...I'm not going to let you die, come on..." Keith knelt down, partly picking the boy up, and began to force him to run beside him, still allowing Ryan to lean against him for support as they escaped the tower seconds before it crumbled. When outside Ryan looked outside at the sky, tears still running down his cheeks.
