Chapter 2: The story of Oisa

~Dream~

Angel looked around herself, seeing herself standing on the docks by a large and beautiful sea. She smiled and walked down the wooden dock, kneeling next to the edge, to gaze into the watery depts. At first she saw her reflection gazeing back at her but then it rippled, and changed into a gruesome and horrible looking face. She drew away frightened, and suddenly the world around her began to collapse and she fell downward into the darkness with a terrified cry.

~End Dream~

"Ah!" She gasped, bolting straight up, heart racing. She looked around herself, noticing everyone else was sleeping, but her father and his friend Mimi was no where to be seen. She glanced back up at the sky, at the blazing creature known as Oisa.

"I wish....I wish that thing would just go away...it has made everyone so sad..." Her eyes

trailed over the group members all dawning sad expressions on their slumbering faces. "I...I just hope that I can somehow help...Father, where are you?" she clenched the talisman of light in her hand, getting to her feet.

"Where are you going?"

She gasped shocked, turning around to see Leon, setting up staring at her.

"Leon...what? What are you doing awake?"

He did not answer but instead got to his feet, walking over to her and resting his hands on her shoulders, causing her face to heat up.

"Angel, It's dangerous to wander around hear, by yourself. Especially without a weapon."

"............"

"Hear...I found this along time ago, abandoned in Angeles. I believe...it belonged to a woman named Ruto. And that this woman and your father was very close, she may even be your mother, hear."

Angel gasped in surprise as he handed her a silver whip, glowing softly in her hands. "A holy whip? My mother....? Leon...thank you so much. You have no idea how much this means to me, but how did you get this?"

"It is not your concern. All you need to know is that I stumbled apon it by accident."

Angel frowned. "You've changed alot since we were younger..."

"Everything changes over time Angel, perhaps you will too..."

A moment of silence passed, and a wind blew past them, scattering a few leaves as it howled lonely.

"Leon....?"

"Hm?"

"Um....I know we aren't....together anymore, but could we still be friends? I missed you. I couldn't bare if you hated me....if you didn't even want to be my friend anymore."

".....Angel." He reached out stroking her cheek gently, causing her once again to blush. "If I hated you....if I wasn't your friend I would never of bothered to show up, let alone risk my life to save you."

"Leon!" She smiled up at him happily and a little be hopeful. He cleared his throat looking away, as though scared to make eye contact with her.

"Anyway." He changed the subject. "Where are your father and is little fairy-friend?"

"....Daddy? I don't know...I was just going to go and look."

"I'll come with you."

"Thank you."

***************************************

Pan rolled over on her stomach with a groan, squeezing her eyes shut as though against a nightmare. She whimpered out, fingers clawing at the ground as images pierced her mind mercilessly.

~Dream~

A twelve year old Angel sat on the docks near a large ocean, beside her sat a boy sixteen year old boy. The two of them were holding hands and then suddenly the boy vanished and Angel was left standing on the docks, crying, a younger Pan comforting her.

~Dream~

"Huh...!?" Pan gasped, opening her eyes. "What? What are these memories....Why I can't remember them....? Strange dream....who was that boy...and why was Angel crying?" She pushed herself up into a setting position, and blinked twice, spotting that the younger girl gone.

"Angel...where is she?" He eyes traveled over to where Leon had been asleep and saw that it to was empty. Growling she clenched her fist. "Leon...."

"Is everything ready?" A voice asked from the shadows. It was that of a young male, the woman he was speaking to nodded her head.

"Yes, I believe so. We have the first key to the puzzle captured...we just need the other piece and then we can go on with our mission. I've already let loose our monsters to attack and try to capture our specimen."

"Lady!" The voice saluted. "Is our only mission to capture the girl?"

"No...of course not. I also hear rumor of shards and I want them...not matter what. The monsters I sent to both Gaia and earth should have some effect. And if anyone, namely the past heroes try and stop us, I have gave orders to Soya and her five team members to go to Gaia and seek out the shards, I also sent the Bio monsters. No one will be able to stand in our way.

"You shall get the shards you desire, my lady."

"Excellent."

***********************************

"I can't believe we were to late. I just don't understand what is happening, everything is suddenly so confusing. I thought that Oisa was suppose to be on earth." The little boy shook his head in confusion. "How it evens howed up is a mystery enough..."

The woman, Aria, still had not taken her gaze away from Oisa and frowned. "...I'm sensing Oisa from everywhere...I think the day of judgment is soon at hand...but I'm also sensing another darkness, I don't understand either."

Both were silent until they heard footsteps approaching and both turned around in positions ready to fight in case they were attacked. They lowered their defenses however when the two figures came into the little clearing.

Angel blinked confused, looking at the two startled looking strangers. One was a twenty-three year old woman with long white puffy pigtails reaching down to her shapely hips. Skin the same shade as coffee, eyes a pale rose pink. She was wearing a white skirt so short it could be classified as a belt, the ends of it decorated with long with light pink frills. Her shirt was also very much like the skirt, short, white with frills. It was sleeveless and clipped around her medium sized breast area tightly and had to little hearts on the front of it where her nipples would be. She wore long white boots and gloves each having a ring of hearts around the edges. In her hair she wore pink and white frills barrettes, heart shapes in the center of the elastic. A golden horn shimmered in the middle of her dark forehead.

The little boy seemed to be around five and had short brown hair, messy with spiky bangs. He had clear large brown eyes, which gazed back at them curiosity. His skin was almost as dark as the womans except a few shades lighter, being the same color as the palest coffee. He wore rayon khakis, pseudo-leather brown loafers, along with a baggy but very comfortable wine red Cherokee shirt which reached down to his knees. Both the five year old and the woman wore silver lockets around their necks.

"Hello, excuse me but did you see a man with golden hair and a woman who is part fairy around hear?" Angel asked politely.

"....Who are you?" Aria asked in a silky low voice.

"My name is Angel. This." She gestured towards Leon. "Is my friend, Leon."

"A pleasure." He nodded his head in good manners to the woman.

"My name is Aria, and this..." She looked over at the boy. "My son, Kip."

"Hi." The boy smiled, very weakly, he looked very troubled.

"It's nice meeting you, but, when I asked who you were, I meant not your name."

"Oh?" Angel looked at Aria confused. "What did you mean then?"

"I meant, are you the daughter of the savior of light, and of Miss, Princess Marie-Maya?"

"You where the talisman, and I can see the resemblance." Kip pointed out. "But we have to make sure."

".....My father? My father is Ryan, and yes he was the savior of light...but...my mother I don't know anything about her. I heard that her name could of been Ruto or Maya....but...."

"She's the one." Kip breathed. " Aria, look at the wings."

"Hmmm...yes, she is. Angel, you must listen to us, you are in great danger."

"What are you all talking about!?" Leon demanded.

Kip and Aria turned to each other and nodded there heads as though agreeing on something silently before turning back to Angel and Leon.

"Are there others with you?" Aria asked.

Angel nodded slowly.

"We would like to tell you all at once. Please take us to your friends."

"Wait!" Angel protested. "I have to find daddy first!"

Kip looked pained. "....I'm sorry....we tried to save them but....Judgment got them first."

"What!?" Both Angel and Leon looked shocked and horrified.

"Daddy!!" The half breaded girl buried her face in her hands and began to cry, falling to her knees.

" We will explain everything as best we can, please, take us to your friends." Aria requested again, receiving a nod from Leon as he picked Angel up and helped her to walk back to the camp site.

*************************************

Pan was just about to leave to go after her friend when they walked into the clearing. The first thing that caught her eye was the distraught looking expression on Angel's face, as she was leaned up against Leon crying. She rushed over pulling her away from him, looking concerned and angry at the same time.

"Leon! What did you do to hurt her now!? Angel, what's wrong, are you all right?"

".....Daddy....daddies dead...."

"...What....?"

"He is not dead." Aria said sternly.

"Huh? Really!?" Angel looked amazed. "But didn't you say...Judgment got him."

"Yes...but..." Kip shook his head. "Judgment might end up killing him...all of them, but they aren't dead right now. Judgment perfers toying around with his victims first."

"Then." Pan began, matter of factually. "We have to save them."

"....I wish we could. I really wish we could." Kip looked depressed. "But...we can't."

"Why the hell not!?" Pan growled, awakening the others in the group, who all sat up looking confused and dazed.

"We can't go where they are. But I think we will have to start at the beginning. Please every, listen carefully to our story, so we wont have to repeat it again." Aria demanded. "I hate repeating things."

"Wait! Just what's going on!? Who are these people!?" Raifan demanded, picking up her glasses, dusting them off before putting them on.

"Lilli sleepy, want to go to bed, don't feel like story..." The elf closed her eyes, leaning against Ein's shoulder.

"I'm not sleepy at all, ha,ha..*yawn..* ha, ha." Ein mumbled tiredly.

"....Do you know what happened to our parents?" Lime asked, rubbing his eyes tiredly.

Aria smiled at the three little children. "Three precious ones...."

"...Hey, am I precious, too, good looking?" Gau asked hopefully, scooting up close to the woman. Aria scowled and before he knew it was smacked across the face by her fist and sent sliding to the ground stupidly.

"No, you are far from precious." She sniffed, crossing her arms over her chest and looking away from him. "Don't bother me." she glanced down at Ayane, who was staring up at her, silently. "Who are you?"

Ayane gasped startled, eyes darting around wildly, facing heating up. "Oh! I'm...I'm sorry...I didn't mean to stare...I'm sorry...um...my....name is Ayane. Sorry for being rude...I'm really sorry."

"That's....all right..."Aria looked at the girl strangely. "You don't have to be so apologetic."

"Ohhh...." The girl sounded embarrassed. "I'm sorry..."

"What is your story. Tell us, please." Angel looked worried. "Will my daddy and all our parents be ok?"

"....All right...everyone set down and listen carefully, this will be a long one."

The group, though many were tired all sat around Aria and Kip, as though little kids all wanting to hear their teacher read them a story out of a little preschool book.

"Long time ago." Aria started, sounding much like she was ready to tell a story. "There existed three Goddesses. One was Key, the goddess of light, daughter of the sun god Rada, and Saiyoua, daughter of the goddess Perserphone. Saiyoua, lonely with no love of brightness in her life created two planets, called, Earth and Gaia. They were her children but...in darkness the planets were just lifeless...empty until Key came and filled the planets with her light, allowing things to grow and blossom. The beauty on the planet though was not made up from Key's thoughts, but Saiyoua's. Every piece of grass, every tree and every flower had been allowed to grow for that is what Saiyoua imagined and pictured in her heart. She loved the planets so much, and grew to love Key for allowing her children to grow and her dreams to come true. Key and Saiyoua were not only once friends but lovers as well...but then, Key grew lonely, Saiyoua was no enough to keep her company so she created life on earth. Giving birth to animals, people and every race that flourished in the sun. Saiyoua grew hurt and jelouse and therefor created every race that would flourish in the darkness. The light and darkness fought on the earth for sometime, but....this is how the third goddess formed. Messiah was the keeper of the life stream which appeared, made out of the sprits of the planets. You already know that when you die your soul goes back to the life stream to heal and protect the planet allowing life to continue. Messiah was created by the souls of the innocent people who died, and she therefor since she was created out of both the light and the darkness was neither of the two, but all innocent. However....evil also went into the life stream...more and more darkness began to grow and corrupt things as Saiyoua and Key battled each other as did the people, that was when darkness began to grow inside of Messiah, but the darkness had help growing inside of her, for her own hate at the goddesses selfish ways were turning her dark. She cast out the darkness inside of her, wishing to remain innocent, as not to upset the balance of good and evil between the worlds, however...this has proved and will prove to be a fatal mistake. The darkness was sent into space where it formed Oisa, however..." Aria shook her head slowly. " People's evil souls that went into the life stream became to much for Aria to handle and a dark ocean, the darker side of the life stream was created...that is where...another Oisa, in earth's life stream formed."

The gathered group gasped stunned. "There were TWO Oisa's!?"

"Yes..." Aria nodded slowly. "...I don't understand all that is going on, but...perhaps the judgments...those red Pyramid things that attacked are messengers of Oisa."

"...Um...uh..." Lime began shyly. "I heard Mommy once say that...they heard of something called the Red Devil alot in the Neo goddess tower...um capsule corp."

"...Yes...The devil is the judgment...but how there can be two of them, I have no idea." Kip explained. "...Perhaps...they aren't even servants of Oisa...ohh...I don't know. We don't know much about anything right now. I think the first part of stopping this whole thing would be to find out just what is going on."

"Well, for one, you know more then us, so tell us." Pan folded her arms. "Why do you refer to this pyramid guy as `Judgment' anyway?"

"That is easy." Aria began. "Oisa was created out of the guilty and sinful, so therefor, he punishes the guilty and sinful. He has been around for many years now....thousands of years...but was mostly to weak to do anything massive, but something has changed...maybe because of the rebirth of Oisa? Or perhaps of something entirely different. All we know is...This red devil followed the brief family back from earth, and it was confined to only Capsule Corp, being to weak to venture outward, and it attacked and killed patients in the building."

"Ok...so your saying in simple terms another Oisa was formed from evil souls in the life stream, and that he may have two messengers called Judgment who attacks and punishes the guilty and sinful. Ok...now, explain why are these creatures attacking us and where are our parents?" Raifan demanded.

"I dew time." Aria sniffed. "Anyway, we aren't sure where your parents are...as I said we aren't sure of anything...but...they could be being punished by Judgment....but...it just doesn't make sense, I felt darkness on earth, I thought for sure it was Oisa....or maybe...maybe more then one evil is going on at the same time."

"Oh great." Pan commented dryly.

"Well...even if we knew everything going on." Leon reasoned. "What can we do about it?"

"There is still hope." Kip smiled. "The goddess stone, we can use that to make Oisa go away!"

"The goddess stone!?" Angel blinked puzzled. "Daddy said it was destroyed."

"It was." Kip answered shortly.

"What!? Then how in the hell are we suppose to---" Pan began but was cut off by the excited boy.

"But it broke into many shards after Saiyoua used it to summon Oisa...if we can gather the shards then the goddess stone can be revived!"

"Really!?" Angel beamed happily. "We can make all this darkness go away!?"

"Yup!"

"Wowie." Lilli looked joyful. "Mommy and Daddy will come back?"

"....Wait, when you said many shards." Raifan looked suspicious. "How many did you mean?"

"Um....a hundred?" Kip whistled innocently while the group screamed out in horror.

"A HUNDRED!!?!?"

"....Ha...ha...yeah, it broke into a hundred shards and now lay scattered all over earth and Gaia." Kip became half-way serious. "We have to get them all to form the stone."

"Wait one bloody minuet." Pan halted him in mid-sentence, blond wolf tail flickering in irritation. "That will take forever...and how are we suppose to get to earth?"

"I can take you there, I have the power to travel between both worlds. And as to it taking forever, it should only take a little bit more then a year if we travel separately. Six of us goes to earth because it's a lot more dangerous there and five of you stay hear on Gaia." Aria planned.

"Ok...it sounds reasonable enough." Raifan hunched her shoulders. "Who goes where?"

"Kip and I are going to earth that is a surety." Aria hunched her shoulders. "Angel I demand come with us as well."

"....Hey, where ever Angel is going, I'm going with her." Pan scowled.

"Hey! Wait!" Raifan protested. "How are we suppose to find the shards?"

"Oh...I'll give you the item you need later." Aria dismissed her with a wave of her hand.

"Hey! One moment!" Ein pouted. "None of this make sense you know, I'm confused."

"Lilli confused too!"

"...I also can't fully understand what's going on...." Lime added.

"I don't expect babies to understand..." Aria began.

"I'M NOT A BABY!!!" Ein hissed angrily.

"...Maybe we would understand more if we could actually see this Oisa thing everyone is talking about, but when we gaze up at the sky all we see is....a regular sky, no darkness no Oisa." Lime explained. "Everything is....beautiful."

Aria and Kip exchange puzzled expressions.

"....You can't see it....?" Kip asked slowly. "Aria, something really bizzar is happening. I can see Oisa up in the sky as plain as day but they can't....I think we are over looking something that should be quite obvious."

"Hmmm....hey...hear, take this." Aria pulled the silver locket from around her neck and handed it to Lime. "Use this to find the shards. It takes an innocent one to use it. I can feel a certain innocence about you."

"Um...gee, thanks." Lime smiled shyly, accepting the gift.

"As for the groups." Aria began. "I think that Raifan and Gau along with these three children should check out Gaia, the rest of us will go to earth."

"Hey, who made you leader?" Raifan sniffed.

"Shut up." Aria looked at the girl almost disgusted. "I know what I am doing."

"...So um...when do we go to earth?" Angel asked quietly.

"....Well...I figure that we should go and make sure you all have some weapons for your journey first. The next town is not that far from hear. The walk should only take an hour or two."

"Aria." Kip whined. "Why can't we just...."

"No." The girl glared.

"But...."

"No."

"Why...?"

"No!"

"Just why not...!?"

"You of all people should no better then that!!"

"Hmmm...." Kip surrendered, walking around a little before grinning. "EVERYONE WHO HAS WINGS, CAN PICK UP A PASSENGER AND FLY!!!"

"KIP!!!" Aria hissed, banging him over the head with her fist.

"COOL!!" Angel and Lime laughed, high fiveing each other.

"Oh might as well now...." Aria closed her eyes as she focused her magic allowing a pair of gray wings to sprout from her back as did Kip.

"Wow....you have wings." Lilli looked dazzled.

"Hey..." Angel looked shocked. "They are angel wings just like mine except gray instead of pink..."

"Your a special girl, Angel." Kip smiled. "It'll only take around 45 minuets to get to the town by air."

"What about us who can't fly?" Raifan frowned.

"We can give some of you a ride." Aria offered.

"Lilli, I'll let you ride with me, it'll be fun. It's wonderful to fly." Lime smiled.

"Oh! Lilli will love too!" The elf giggled, jumping onto his back, arms hugging around his neck lightly as he blushed. Ein frowned jealously.

"Lilli, wolf rides are funnier to flying." He commented.

Lime looked nervous, as Lilli turned to look at Ein smiling but was relieved when she said. "But Lilli feels like flying tonight!"

"Well, Ein and I can go just as fast as you guys can fly as wolves." Pan assured. "So don't worry about giving us a ride."

"Hey, what about me, I can't fly or turn into a wolf..." Gau looked pitiful, before scooting over to Aria and Angel. "But I wouldn't mind holding onto one of you girls."

"NO!" The white haired girl kicked him in the shin, sending him jumping around gripping his sore leg.

"Leon, how will you get to town, maybe you can ride with me." Angel smiled at the man who turned away.

"Oh yeah? How do you expect to lift me up, hu--Woah!" He cried out surprised as he felt himself being left up into the air.

Everyone stared at Angel amazed who was holding the man up into the air with one hand, grinning ear from ear.

"How do you do that?" He frowned down at her.

"Heh-heh." She laughed cutely. "I was born being able to left almost anything over my head, just like I was born with magic!"

"Ohh...."

Pan scowled at Leon, turning away before transforming partly into a wolf, as not to destory her clothing. "Let's get going already."

"Um...hey...." Gau pouted, with big puppy dog eyes. "I still don't have a ride..."

"Oh for heavens sakes Gau!" Raifan threw her hands up into the air. "You have your roller blades, use those, you can go fast enough on that!"

"Fine, sis, guess I better get a head start then, if I don't want to be left to far behind." He said meanly strapping on his skates and skating away into the woods.

"Hey." Aria looked over at Ayane who had stayed quite all this time. "I'll give you a ride, all right?"

"Oh...I don't want to be any trouble..."

"Oh shut up, it's no trouble at all. You have to learn not to be so meek, we're going to go save the world hear."

"...I'm sorry...."

"Fuck, stop apologizing!" Aria looked annoyed. "Will you apologize to Oisa when we beat it, Geeze."

"Aria!" Kip scowled in a scolding voice. "Don't be so mean to her!"

"Sorry...oh look! She even has me apologizing now! Just get on my back, girl."

"O...Oh kay..." Ayane shyly climbed onto Aria's back, holding on tightly as the girl got ready to take off into the air.

"Hey, wait!!" Raifan cried out as the ones with wings, their passengers and the two wolves took off leaving her alone. "What about me!?"

"I'll carry, ya!" Kip offered, cutely, flying up a little to be level with her.

"Oh, yeah right! How is a five year old suppose to lift--Wahh!!" Suddenly Raifan was picked up in the boys arms and he flew after the rest of the group quickly, laughing all the way at the elf's terrified screams as they nearly avoided ramming into tress.

*********************************

"Hmm...so this is Gaia..." One of six figures mumbled, standing on top of a large building.

The figures were those of two women and four men. They all wore a strange emblem on their clothes of a goddess silhouetted with a white light, both arms extending upward as if to heaven.

The one that spoke was a female, wearing an all in one blue spandex suit which hugged closely to her body, metal armor covered the area of her breasts, and two large metal pieces stuck out from her shoulder blades. Metal boots and gloves also shielded her arm. She had dirty blond hair reaching her chin, a Metal helmet protecting her head, but revealing a young and pretty face underneath a blue screen that was connected to the protective head covering. The emblem was imprinted on the metal armor, right under where her name was engraved; `Soya.'

In the darkness if one would try and focus on the figure in the shadows they would find it that every time they thought they had it, they would realize they had not found the edges of it yet. The man was setting down next to the woman, and though she was tall, if he were to make eye contact with her their eyes would be level, and the breath and length of him stretched out on every side. If one would be able to make out the figure they would have a hard time looking away. The man's head was smoothly shaven. His skin was a uniform, flawless expanse the color of chocolate. A small gold hoop adorned one ear and his costume was vaguely East Indian. He wore a long sleeved tunic constructed entirely of white linen. The tunic buttoned asymmetrically, like a sailor's pea coat, and had a mandarin collar. Massive thighs, sheeted in white linen pants, emerged from beneath the tunic and went down until they reached a regular and new looking pair of light brown sandals. Just underneath his emblem read his name, John.

Next to him stood a young man around twenty year of age, wild orange hair sticking out from underneath a blue baseball cap. He wore a pair of brown pants, a black shirt and a partly opened white and blue jacket. He wore one chain over the over sized pants, and stood with his hands on his hips, smoking a cigarette. On the shoulder his coat read the name, Edward.

Next to him stood a young fifteen year old girl with long and straight purple hair, green eyes, a youthful expression on her face. She wore an all in one pieced pink spandex suit, a purple mini skirt around her small waste. She looked very pale and seemed to have a eating disorder of sorts for she was as thin as a rail, and looked like she would break into by the smallest gust of wind. She would of been attractive if she had some meat on her bones. But looked right now like a walking skeleton. She was a cat girl, where everyone else in the group was human and sort of stood out, what with the bright pink spandex, and purple skirt gloves and boots. Even her armor which went around her much like Soya's was a purple color. On her armor read the name `Jane'

Next to her stood a boy with reddish blond hair and one brown eyes with one green eye. He was dressed in a karate outfit. He looked to be nineteen or twenty. He had a strong built but a gentle yet serious face. A black belt held his clothes thightly around his slender waste. On the belt read the name Michael.

The last member was a seventy year old man, wrinkled face and blazing head. Well trimmed but long enough white beard and mustache. Age spots touched his weathered flesh, mostly around his temples. He was wearing a Chinese fighter tunic. On the tunic read the name Genfuu.

"Well, well....I guess we should look for those shards....I'm picking up one hidden in this village." Soya commented a signal flashing on the blue electronic shade of her helmet.

"Hmmm...I'll take care of this. Go back to our base!"

"Yes, commander!" The rest of the group saluted, teleporting away, disappearing into thin air, to where ever their base was.

"Hmm...wait, what's this?" Soya paused as he screen flickered back to life. "These readings...the girl the master of the project NGC wants! I'll just try and get her while I'm at it, I suppose."

********************************

The group had arrived at sun up, and before going to the weapon shop decided to get some breakfast first at the nearest restaurant. However everything was very expensive so all they could order was a stack of garlic bread and five huge wheels of yellow cheese, and tons of free water to wash it town with. Though most wolfed it down hungrily, others, mostly Raifan, Lilli complained and Lime ran from the table gagging, his vampire senses not being able to even stand the smell of garlic. Pan not having as much vampire inside of her did not get sick from the smell alone, but could not stomach to eat the stuff.

However, as it turns out, Aria loved garlic and she and Gau, who always pigged out on everything wolfed down most of it.

"I hope you decide to buy mouth wash, your breaths stinks." Leon commented rudely.

"Besides...if you breath on Lime you'll make him pass out." Pan took a big bite of cheese, wrinkling her nose in disgust. She hated cheese, but was starving so she ate it anyway.

"Where is Lime?" Lilli asked worriedly, looking around for the other boy.

"Probably throwing up from the smell of the garlic." Ein smirked, putting his arm around her. "But I'm hear..."

The girl looked back at the door, and suddenly grinned, ear from ear. "LIME!! WHAT A CUTE LITTLE DEAR!!!"

"WHAT!?" Pan jumped up, slamming her fist on the table as she watched her brother walk into the restaurant, a baby dear trailing after him. "LIME!! I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU BROUGHT MOTHER'S PET DEAR WITH YOU!!!"

"I didn't...it followed me..." Lime frowned, shyly. "But...you know very well Meredy is good at attacking...."

"....Huh?" Kip blinked confused. Angel smiled leaning over to him, whispering in his ear.

"There is a long story behind that dear..."

"Really?"

"Yeah....I was there when it happened...I still remember it as though it was yesterday.

FLASH BACK

An young Angel and Pan was playing a game on the floor, Lime, around two years old was sleeping in the big rest chair. Lemon was drawing sketches of some new clothing designs when the door opened and a frantic Squall ran in, locking it behind him. Lemon blinked confused, watching as Squall ran over to the windows, peaking out of it.

"I don't believe it! It's still there!"

"What is.....?" Lemon asked, sounding nervous.

"I'm being stalked." Squall said seriously.

"Stalked?" Lemon raised an eye brow. "By what sort of beast, Squall?"

"...It's not a beast...it's a baby deer."

"WHAT!?" Lemon exclaimed surprised, looking ready to laugh.

Pan blinked a few times, looking at Angel with a confused expression. "Did he just say he was being stalked by a deer?"

"...I think so...."

"Squally! A deer!? Your joking! Your not afraid of a little deer...."

Lemon walked over to the door but was stopped as Squall darted infront of him, taking him by the shoulders. "It is no ordinary deer...It wont die...I tried everything. I was out hunting and....well....it attacked me. I don't know...it has some kind of power....and...." Squall mumbled something from under his breath.

"What was that Squally?"

"...It can...talk." He sounded almost embarrassed, and turned an even darker shade of red when Lemon began to laugh hysterically.

"Oh great...dad lost it...." Pan shook her head.

"Squall!" Lemon, was practically biting his lips off to keep a straight face, and put his hands on his hips in a scolding manner. "Deers can't attack...they aren't immortal...and surely, they can't talk."

"I'm not crazy!" Squall protested, grabbing Lemon by the arm, and opened the door, instantly the deer ran in. "Look! It's evil!!"

Pan, Angel and the now awake Lime exchanged looks as they stared at the sweetly cute baby deer.

Lemon leaned close to it, getting licked across the face. He smiled, hugging it. "Ohh...it's so cute!"

Squall looked amazed. "Licks you and attacks me!"

"....Hmmm....hey wait a moment...it can't be...can it?" Lemon's face turned strange and he began to laugh, chuckles turning into high pitched giggles.

".....Lemon?"

"Oh Squall! Your going to get so mad at me for this but...heh...heh...heh....!!"

"................."

"Remember I told you that....a long time, and I mean a very long time ago...like when we came across your old pack. Remember I told you a bit a deer...and left venom on it...turning it into a vampire.....?"

"........Ah! It can't be!!"

"Yup, it's the same one! It must of sniffed my scent out, and found some of it on you and followed you until it came to the house. Wow, this little guy has really traveled a long distance!!"

".....Long!...." the deer exclaimed cutely.

"Cute! It really can talk, hi there girl! What's your name?"

"Meredy!"

"Wait, wait, wait, wait." Squall put his hand up in the air, silencing them. "Are you saying this deer has powers now because you turned it into a vampire?"

"Yeah....I guess." Lemon grinned sweetly.

"Well, what are we going to do with it?"

"Keep it of course!!"

"What!?"

"Why not? It's so cute!"

"We aren't keeping a talking deep, Lemon."

"Please?"

"No."

"Please?"

Lemon clutched his ears, almost deft.

"I'm NOT going to keep that stupid deer Lemon, there is nothing, even you can say that'll change my mind!"

"Limey! Honey! Daddy brought you home a pet!!"

"Really!?" Lime smiled widely, rushing over, giving the deer a hug. Meredy rewarded him with happy licks on the cheeks. "Thanks Mommy, daddy, she is so cute!"

"But...but...but...." Squall protested.

Lime looked up at him with big cute eyes, smileing. "Daddy your the best! Thank you so much for letting me have a pet. I love you!"

Squall glared at Lemon who was setting there, looking rather pleased with himself, a smug grin plastered on his face. The man-beast shook his head at his lover.

"You know Lemon, your just plain evil sometimes."

"I know, Squally."

Pan and Angel walk into the room, only to get hissed and growled at by the sweet looking deer as Angel went to pet it. The two girls moved over closer to Squall, who frowned watching the deer cutely play with Lemon and Lime, and cast growls back at him and the girls.

"I guess....it doesn't like us." He looked down at the girls.

"I guess...or maybe...."

"It just likes pale blond, girlie vampire boys...." Pan finished off dully.

END FLASH BACK

"That deer actually followed you?" Pan asked in disbelief. "All the way hear?"

"Yeah...I honestly did not know, I found it waiting for me outside the restaurant."

"...Wait!" The deer giggled. Even after all this time the deer could mostly only speek one word sentences.

"Gawd...." The she-beast shook her head. "The thing has fast little legs. Oh well, it is immortal, might as well take it along with you, it probably would get killed, but if it does, don't cry to me."

"It's soooo cute!" Lilli squealed, throwing her arms around Meredy, who seemed happy at the attention she was receiving.

"I'll take care of Meredy, sis! Don't worry!"

"I'm not worried, it's just a stupid deer. Oh well, let's get to the weapon store and get equipped."

"I could pack a few more arrows with me." Gau fingered his remaining arrows as he counted them.

"Well, I don't need any weapons." Kip shrugged his shoulders. "I got all I need." he grinned looking at his fists.

"Are you telling me your a fighter?" Pan almost laughed.

"Yes....you?" He retorted.

"Of course."

"Pan!" Angel grinned, half scolding. "If I didn't know better, I'd say you were making a challenge with a baby."

The girl blushed, and turned away, crossing her arms. "Of course not! What gave you that idea, Angel?"

Aria slammed her hands down on the table. "Enough of this useless chit-chat! We waste time, let's go."

"Fuck..." Pan curled her lip. "What a bitch."

"Aria!!" Kip called after her, chaseing her out of the restaurant. The rest of the group followed at a more relaxed pace towards the weapon shop.

*******************************

Leon already had his Samurai sword, Lime his mother's scythe, Kip and Pan their fists, Gau his bows, so they really wasn't looking for items to buy.

"Hey, Angel, did you find anything?" Pan asked, trying to picture the girl with a weapon, but to no avail.

"Um...no...I don't need a weapon, I already have one."

Pan looked at her surprised. "What? You do? Where and when did you get a weapon?"

Angel revealed the holy whip. "Leon gave it to me. He said he found it in Angeles...it could of belonged to my mother even....."

"....Leon..." Pan turned around to glare at him. "Where did you get this?"

"....In Angeles."

"I know that, but where in Angeles."

"It's not your concern."

"Like hell---!!"

"Pan, please." Angel hushed Pan who scowled at Leon before obeying and tuning back to her friend.

"Hey, Wowie, look at this...!" Lilli smiled widely, picking up a small staff. It was green with a crescent moon on the end of it, made of diamond. Golden patterns wrapped around the rod, as did a few white diamonds.

"It is a fairy-tale rod. It amplifies magic, you can also use it to bash enemies with. When hitting someone it causes a magical shock wave, increasing damage." The shop keeper explained. "It's the best weapon for a young child to use."

"Lilli want it!" The elf hugged the rob staff close to her as though it was a teddy bear.

"....Hm...." Ein frowned picking up a sling-shot, a small wooden sling shot, but it had no sling. "What's this?"

"Oh that, sonny is a magic sling shot. You focus your energy and it amplifies it allowing you to shoot out magical blasts. It's not the best weapon for young children such as yourself. It really takes the energy out of---"

"I'M NOT A CHILD!!!" Ein growled, causing the shop keeper to back away fearfully. "I'll take it. But first see if it actually works..."

"No! Don't try it in hear--!!"

KAMBOOM!!!

The group stared at the wall that was blasted away. Ein stared down at the sling shot in his hands stunned, before grinning.

"COOL!!!"

"My...wall......" The shopkeeper sobbed.

Raifan looked at the weapons absent mindly, a frown placed on his face. Actually a skeptical frown was almost always placed on her face. Pan noticed her and grinned meanly.

"Ohh, is the little book worm having a hard time finding a weapon?" She teased. "I thought you were just going to bash the baddies over the head with your text books and run."

"Shut up, beast woman." Raifan sneered.

"Better a beast then no nothing no it all."

"You--!!"Raifan snapped.

"Oh no, there they go again." Angel slapped her forehead as the two girls began to fight with each other. "They always fight...."

The group watched with mild interest as Pan forced Raifan into a corner, nervously the book worm reached for something and her hands wrapped around a weapon that was setting on a shelf. Pan blinked stunned when she felt something it her in the head. Falling back on to her butt she looked around dazed. Raifan blinked, looking almost amazed at herself and looked at the weapon she had in her hands, seeing it was a Flail Nunchaku. She smirked meanly, looking down at Pan.

"I think I found my weapon....It beats hitting things over the head with my text books, don't you agree Pan?"

"...Shut the hell up..."

Ayane stood quietly in the corner, not really browsing for a weapon at all. Aria approached her, putting a hand on her shoulder. Ayane jumped startled, and twisted around frightened.

"Oh! I'm sorry!" She exclaimed, fear dancing in her blue eyes.

"Woah...woah..." Aria put her hands up. "Your sorry for what? I just wanted to ask if you got a weapon yet?"

"...Ohhh....I'm sorry...." The girl put a hand to her head, shaking it, closeing her eyes as though she was trying to get her senses back. "You just startled me."

".................."

"Um....I already....have a weapon...." Ayane reached into the back pocket of her dress and pulled out a sharp and dangerous looking kitchen knife.

"Did you get this back at the orphanage?" Aria reached out to look at it.

"No!" The girl suddenly cried, pulling the knife away from her. The woman just looked at her surprised.

"I just wanted to see it, that's all....fine. Let's go." She turned to the group and began to walk out of the door.

"Hey wait--!" Angel protested. "You don't have a weapon yet."

"Yes I do...I can just summon my weapon when I need it, let's go."

"H...H...Hey! Wait! What about my money!?" The shop keeper demanded.

Aria paused, turning half way around. "Oh yeah...I almost forgot...OH MY GOD WHAT'S THAT BEHIND YOU!!!?!?"

The shop keeper and the group turned around to fallow her horrified gaze, the man behind the counter frowned.

"There is nothing there missy...." He turned around to see his shop empty of any people. "Missy?...oh drat it! I can't believe I fell for that old trick again.....youngens these days...always foolin' their elders. We aren't stupid....oh well...I wonder when they will be back to pay for their weapons...."

********************************

"I can't believe we just did that!" Angel panted heavily. All around her the rest of the group were gasping for breath, having ran to the out skirts of the village.

"Hey, Aria...?" Kip asked, looking up at his mother. Angel frowned for a moment, this kid was extremely rude to his mother, at that age her should still at least be saying Mommy, or Moma, even mother would be better then calling her by her first name.

"Yeah?"

"Did you find it odd, no one in that village seemed to notice Oisa? Everyone was acting nearly care free."

"...Now that you mention it...you would think that the village would be in a panic...." The woman mussed, holding her chin in her hand as she puzzled about it.

"Maybe..." Raifan began. "Maybe only a few people can see it...? Just like the fact that Lilli, Lime, and Ein can't see it....maybe there is some kind of connection between those who can see it and can't. I know the connection can't be youth or age, because Kip is they youngest of us all and he can see Oisa. There has to be something......something that allows some to see and others not."

"....I refuse to have anything connected with you." Pan commented sourly. "Anyway, we should get started on our journey already, right? I'll leave you, walking encyclopedia, to discover the so called connection. I'll just fight."

"Brains over brawn." Raifan sniffed receiving a growl from the she-beast but before a fight could break out a coughing sound suddenly appeared out of no where. The group looked around wildly until they spotted a figure coming out of the little pond in front of them.

"Oh man!" Soya coughed, shaking her head like a dog. "That damn shard was so hard to find!" in her hands she head a small glowing silver fragment.

"A shard!?" The group gasped amazed. Aria rushed forward, face set in a serious look.

"Hand that over, right now!"

"Oh?' Soya just seemed to notice she had company and sneered. "You think I'll give it to you so easy?" Her eyes went from member to member until they landed on Angel and gasped in alarm.

"You! You are the one our master wants!"

Angel blinked confused. "M...me?"

"Hey! No one gets Angel with out getting past me first." Pan stood infront of her best friend protectively.

"Your master, huh?" Leon unsheathed his sword. "Send my regards, will ya? If your still alive that is, because I wont let you hurt Angel!"

"Oh, how sweet." Soya cooed sarcastically. "Protecting your girlfriend? Well, I don't think you can win. I'm the second in command to the mercenary elite, consisting of twelve members. Six of us, including my self are hear on Gaia, searching for the shards hidden hear for our master to complete our purpose."

"What purpose!?" Aria demanded. "Are you the ones behind this!?" she pointed upward at Oisa.

Aria blinked puzzled, following her finger. "Huh? Responsible....for what....the sky?"

"She don't see it..." Raifan looked amazed.

"Hey...hey...come on." Gau slowly approached her. "Why not we talk about this and try and settle it, I really don't want to fight with such a cute girl, I'm sure we can solve this little prombl----wahhh!!"

"DON'T GET FRESH WITH ME!!" Soya growled, extending her arm and shooting Gau with a laser from the machine armor glove she wore.

"Owww...." The elf moaned from the ground.

Raifan slapped her forehead. "What an idiot...."

"Hey! The goddess stone does not belong to you or your master!! Hand it over!" Kip growled. "Or else..."

"Or else what, baby? Your going to take a tempertatrum? Oh, I'm so scared! Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!!!"

"MASKANO!!!!" The boy exclaimed summoning an energy blast, striking her in the chest, causing her to stagger back painfully with a screech as she dropped the shard. Lilli dove under it, catching it in her hands.

"Wow...it's so pretty!!" She smiled widely. "Like a star!!"

"You little brat!!" Soya growled at Kip before turning to Lilli. "Hey give me that!!"

Lilli looked up frightened as Soya approached her, read to slap her and take away the shard, when she was pinned to the ground, by a snarling and transformed Ein. The mercenary hissed pushing him off of her, suffering a few bites. She regained her compositor and began to laugh.

"Well, well, well. This was fun! But...I think that perhaps I'll attack you some other time. I'm afraid that you caught me on surprise. But I'll be ready next time, anyway...my master told me not to kill you, she wants to see how well her bio made monsters can fight. She unleashed them all over Earth and Gaia for the sole purpose of slaughter. Why? Well...." Soya stopped talking. "Oh...I'm saying too much. Well, gotta run! See ya some other time!"

She teleported away in a flash leaving the group alone again. Aria walked up to Lilli gently takeing the shard into her hand. She handed that and the little bag she wore over her shoulder, white with pink hearts on it to Lime, placing the shard inside.

"Hear...I gave you the locator necklace, all you'll need to do to use it is wish really hard on it to find the shards. I want you to hold onto the shards ok?"

"Um...ah....o...ok!" Lime nodded taking the bag carefully into his hands.

"Why does he get the neat stuff!?" Ein complained, Aria chose to ignore him.

"Kip, I knew there is something really bizzar happening....we have to hurry and find the shards soon."

"....Yeah...."

"Is that girl and whoever her master is behind Oisa?" Angel asked innocently.

Aria opened her mouth to speak, but Raifan beat her to it.

"Of course not! If she was then she would of been able to see Oisa, but she had no clue what we were talking about when we mentioned it!"

Pan scowled. "What do you know?"

"She's right." Aria said simply, surprising everyone except Kip. "Someone, or something else is behind Oisa....but this girl and her master....they are up to no good I can feel it. We must not waste no more time in starting our journey. Angel, Pan, Leon, Ayane, Kip and I will go to Earth. Gau, Raifan, Lilli, Ein, Lime and his pet Meredy will stay hear in Gaia and look for the shards hear. Hear..." Aria handed a little machine to Raifan. "This was made in Angeles, we can write e-mail messages to each other from very far distances with this...even as far as other worlds. We'll keep in contact using these."

"Ok. Smart idea if I must say so myself."

"Aww, hey! This isn't fair!" Gau complained, gesturing towards Aria, Pan, Angel, and Ayane. "Four hot babes and the only girls I get on my team are my two sisters and a deer!"

"Gau! Shut up!" Raifan rolled her eyes, hitting him over the head with her fist.

"Well...you can always take Leon with you...I would prefer my brother or maybe even Raifan on my team then him. " Pan scowled.

"Pan!" Angel frowned. "Don't be so mean."

"Listen." Leon looked serious. "I'm going to protect Angel, I don't care if you hate me or not. I'm going with her."

Just as a fight was about to start Kip stepped forward. "The faith of two worlds and your parents depend on you, don't waste time fighting with each other, fight with the enemy!"

"Kip is right, everyone coming to earth, please gather in a circle around me." Aria instructed.

"Everyone, take care." Angel smiled at them, trying to be cheerful.

"Um...ah...please be careful." Ayane added shyly.

"Yeah, watch your backs, even you Raifan."

"Humph!"

Leon remained silent. Lime shifted uneasily before running up and giving his sister a hug around the waste.

"Pan! Please take care yourself!"

Dispite herself Pan smiled, ruffly his hair. "Of course I will, kiddo! You take care of yourself too..."

"Leon...." Angel looked up at the boy smiling, taking his hand to hers as they all gathered in a circle.

The man blushed slightly. "Angel?"

"Let's both try are best."

He nodded and in a flash of light the group of six disappeared, leaving their five (six including Meredy) comrades behind.

******************************

"Oh my god...." Angel gasped, eyes growing wide, as everyone else stare up into Earth's sky in disbelief. Up in the sky, over the city they stood in they could see Oisa. Somehow...somewhere, there was a Oisa hear as well....but how could that be? There was only one Oisa left...wasn't there?
