Chapter Three

Andrew and Navi got down to the first floor and cut open some bushes. The firs bush held the needed heart, the needed heart, the next held a clump of deku seeds, and the last held another heart.

"Lets get these to Sofiea…" Andrew murmured. They hurried back up to the second floor where Link laid.

"Sofia! Sofia! We've got a couple of hearts!" Navi called, flying up to her with one of said hearts in her hands. Andrew was climbing up the vines still.

"Give it to him!' Sofia urged. "He hasn't waken up yet!"

By this time, she'd stopped crying. She was fairly puffy-eyed, but not as much as she could have been.

The fairy didn't notice. In fact, she was too busy getting the recovery heart to Link. She finally got it to him. Sofia was afraid that it wouldn't work.

At last, the kokiri boy stirred. "Uh… what…happened?" he mumbled.

"Oh…my god…you're okay…" Sofia said, her voice cracking with barely suppressed emotion. "Please… DON'T YOU EVER DO THAT AGAIN!" She almost broke out in tears again. Already water had formed around her eyes.

"Are you crying, Sofia? Andrew asked the yami.

She turned around and gave the boy a venomous glare. "I am not!" she snarled.

Andrew had experience. He knew when to stop asking an upset girl/yami questions. And when to stop antagonizing her. So he held up his hands in defeat and backed away.
