Chapter 5: Return to me my old Friend

Link was so thrilled and excited that the sword did not keep him in that temple for another seven years. He spun the sword on his fingers as he ran up to the gate. The gates started opening and the guards were greeting him again. Link paid no mind he was in to good of a mood right now.

As he made his way back to Zelda, Impa, Karzon and Malon he looked at the rings he had received at they were truly admasing. He could not wait to see the look on Zelda's face. Of course he still had his fears about getting married and having to become a king. He did not like the job as king very much, he liked to be free.

But he had a change of heart on the whole ordeal. He was possible going to become a Father, and such he wanted to be married as well. So much for his ideas of getting married before having a kid. He sighed, this was all coming on way to fast.

Link walked down the halls and headed for the medic room where Zelda was. As he turned the corner to the room, Malon and Karzon where standing out in the hall way just chatting. Malon waved slightly towards him thrilled to see he had not left them. This was kind of weird he wondered why they were standing out there.

"Oh Link, don't worry, they took Impa to get some more test run on her. Thats why she's not in there," Malon said as Link walked to the door. He looked at Malon then Karzon, "Oh and we are out here because Zelda asked us to please step out for a moment, she wanted to be alone."

"Gezzee..." Link sighed as he opened the door and walked in. Zelda had just been attacked last night and she wanted to be alone? Still the same old princess he knew. But at least he would not have to ask everyone to leave himself. Zelda had taken care of one part for him.

Link rolled his eyes when he saw Zelda sitting up on her bead brushing her hair. She never let anything get to her. She had a few weeks to live and she was brushing her hair. Zelda giggled as she saw link Standing there with his arms crossed.

"What on earth do you think your doing? Your sick lay back down," Link said as he walked over to her and pushed her back down on her bed. "What would the doctors say if they saw you brushing your hair when..." Link did not want to Finnish the sentence, he did not want to think about Zelda dying. He sat down on the bed and Zelda sat back up. She started coughing. Soon she would not have enough strength to even get up and thats what scared Link. He might not be here again when she needed him the most.

"I'm not sick Link, I'm dying..." Zelda said and Link hugged her. "Why can't they just tell me when I'm going to die! It's better to know then just...just rotting away!"

"Zelda your not going to die and I'm going to make sure of it," Link said as he let go of her. Her face was starting to go pale as her hands were starting to get cold and clammy. Soon she would look like the living dead. Ganon was going to pay for this.

"Oh Link, what if the Oracle does not have a cure!" Zelda said as her eyes got all watery. She was so scared to die. Not only did she not want to know what death was like, she did not want to leave everyone. She may have sounded greedy but she did not want anyone to take her place. She did not want Link to find another lover, she did not want anyone to be come the next queen. She wanted to be all those things.

Link then took out the box and opened it. He was going to put the most faith in Zelda as he could. He was going to make her see, that what ever mountain he had to climb, no matter what river, ocean, lake he had to cross he was going to find the cure for her and Impa. He pulled out the most fanciest ring that was in the box. He remember why this one had been ordered.

Link then shut the box again and put it away. Zelda gasped putting her hands to her mouth as she saw the ring Link held in his hands. Link then looked at the inscription he had asked to be put in the ring three years ago and he never not it would have such a powerful meaning as it did now. This moment, he was so glad he had a brain three years ago.

"Believe in me Zelda," Link said as he read the inscription on the inside of the ring. Zelda then wiped away her forming tears. Link then took her cold clammy hand and kissed it. HE took the ring and slipped it on her ring finger. "Zelda, will you ....you umm...Marry me?"

"Oh Link!" Zelda yelled as she threw her arms around him. "Yes! Yes I will marry you!" Zelda had waited and waited for that faithful question. Not the time and place she had expected it to be but it made her feel so much better. She had almost forgot about the curse that had been placed on her. She did forget about it until she started coughing again.

"Now the second you get better were going to get married, I swear by this ring, but out love Zelda, that I'm going to find the cure for you. Were going to get married a live happily ever after. Like it should be, the master sword did not keep me this time Zelda, I'm not going to leave you again like last time," Link said and Zelda kissed his cheek. She though she loved him so much before, but this had to be what love really was. To do or say anything to help the one you love. To ask them to marry you when they know a death curse has been put on you. To be so loving and caring in this type of situation.

"Your the greatest guy ever!" Zelda said. She was so happy he was not trapped away in the temple of time either. For one she would not be around to help him. She would not even be alive. And she liked the fact that he was not sleeping why the rest of the world was being destroyed. "You better get going now..." Zelda said as she leaned forward and kissed him. She did not want him to leave. She wanted him to stay here right with her for the rest of forever. She wanted to marry him. But that was not going to happen unless he left her.

Link Kissed her back, the greatest gift he had ever received was being with her. The greatest choice he had ever made was coming back with Navi left him. He went back to Zelda after making the world perfect again. But what he had learned was the world was not perfect with out Zelda. Zelda was a bit disappointed when Link broke off the kiss. He then pulled out the other locket with the Z carved into it and put it around her neck.

"An early wedding gift from the person who made our rings, I'll always be with you, until I come back, I love you," Link said as he stood up and kissed her forehead one last time before heading towards the door. The sooner he left the sooner he'd be back to her.

"See you soon," Zelda said as Link opened the door. He mouth the words `I love you always' before walking out the door. Zelda laid back down on her bed as the door shut closed again. She was going to miss him. She looked at the locket he had put around her neck. She opened it and tears formed in her eyes. There she was with him in the locket. She closed it again and smiled. He was going to do this, she knew it, she trust him.

Link looked in the hall way, Malon and Karzon were still standing there. Then he turned his head and Impa, the King and the two doctors started walking down the hall and back to the room. Impa needed the support of both the king and one of the doctors to stay on her feet. She was starting to look as white as her hair. She was also older then Zelda, Link wondered if there was any chance Impa could die sooner then Zelda. With that in mind Link really wanted to hit the road already and find Taff.

"I was hoping to say good by before I left- I mean we left," Link said and Impa grinned at him. He now had truly earned Impa's full respect. Link wished for the day to come when Impa would fully respect him, fully trust him. And that day finally came. He smiled back at her, their little bonding helped a little last night. Impa was more interesting, friendly and funny then she looked, and Link was not the only one who felt this way about her. (<---big hint there lets see if anyone gets it.)

"Have a safe trip Hero, and don't ditch your team, The master sword seams a bit different. You do Learn boy, I'm proud of you," Impa said, Link tried to hold it back but he could not he hugged her tightly like a boy would hug his mother, mentor or best friend. He then whispered ever so slight in Impa's ear.

"You better stay alive Zelda's going to need a maid of honor for or wedding when we return with the cure," Impa bit her lip, she was so happy, she always wanted to live to see the day when Zelda got married. Link let go of Impa and backed off. His sudden surge of happiness, he did not want the king to him and Impa were an item or anything sence he so kindly got that mixed up last night.

"I'm going to stay alive Link, you can count on that, I'm not going to give up," Impa said and they headed for the room Link waved even though their backs were turned. Karzon and Malon said good bye to them as well and hoped for the best.

"All right what are we waiting for lets go!" Link said and Malon grabbed a hold of his arm. He looked down at her worried expression she had on her face. Once she knew she had links attention she pushed her hair out of her face.

"Me to right?" She asked and Link laughed slightly. Link put his hands on her shoulders and nodded his head yes. Like the master sword had trapped him in the Time and Space chamber for seven years. It now tough him team work with the help of Impa.

Malon was so happy he was not going to fight with her about this. She turned towards Karzon and gave him a thumbs up. He smiled back at her as the three of them started heading down the stairs towards the exit of the castle. As they passed by the kitchen some people handed then sacks of food to take on the trip and wished them luck.

They walked out of the castle and headed towards the Hyrule castle town. They did not need to stop there or get anything, they were pretty set. They just agreed to stop by the Lon Lon Ranch before heading out to the lake. They had to tell Talon and grab a horse for Malon and Karzon.

There were less people out in the mark then when Link hand went to get his rings. Most of them had to go open their shops or go shopping. Link jumped up onto the side off the water fountain and walked across it. He then jumped off when there was nothing more to walk on. He noticed that the castle town gates were up still.

They must have though Ganon had left the castle and castle town. The only reason why they would not have put the gates down already. Link walked up to the window of the gate and asked them to lower the bridge. It took a few minuets but they lowered the gate and the three walked out and over the bridge.

Epona was still sitting out there right where Link had left her yesterday. But Epona was not alone. Next to Epona was a horse, a Gerudos horse. Link looked around looking for the owner of the horse. Epona got to her feet once she saw link and the new worried look he had on his face. Had Ganon gotten to the Gerudo that was spouse to come greet him, or their messenger.

"Took you long enough didn't it?" The Three of them jumped slight as they turned around. There was the owner of the horse and was in the lake that surrounded the walls of the castle town. She was not wearing a normal Gerudo outfit that Link was used to seeing on the Gerudos. Hers was orange and cover up most of her stomach. She also had a darker skin tone then the other Gerudos.

"Nice accent," Link said as he walked over to the side of the river and extended his hand out to her. No one had comment on the way she spoke before. She was quite found of her voice and so was her old guy friend. He held out her hand and took hold of Links. He pulled her out of the water.

She was dripping wet, all her clothes but she did not seam to mind. It was quite nice to be cool on a hot morning. She had found out during half the night that the Skull kids could not got in the water or die. Thats why she was down in the water. Also the last time she had taken a bath was a few weeks. So she though taking a nice dip in the middle of the night was a good idea.

"My Names Mika, soon to be a Former Gerudo. Once we save Zelda and the Shika woman, then kill Ganon of course You wont ever have to see me, here me or look at me again. So to make this trip move enjoyable for all for all of us I ask you not to question me at all," Mika said as she started wringing out her wet hair. She then put her two pointer fingers in her mouth and whistled for her horse. It got up off the ground and walked over to her.

"But-"

"No buts, Your Link right? Yes you must be Link your the only one I've ever re-call seeing before. So Mr. Hero where so we start? And what did I gust say about questioning me?" Mika said as she mounted her horse. She just wanted to get this done and over with. Though it was going to be much harder then she though it could be but that was not her biggest worry right now.

"Were going to the Lon Lon Ranch to get some more Horses, For Karzon and Malon," Link said as he climbed up on Eponas back. Mika then looked at Malon the Karzon, She though the Hero was a longer by heart. Did the king distrust him this much to make him now have a group for three people tagging along with him.

Mika shrugged her shoulders. She had never been to the ranch before, nor had see seen more the one horse at a time. Link then Extended his Arm to Malon for her to get on the back of Epona, sence Epona had been hers before she gave her to Link. Malon climbed onto the back of the horse and Looked down at Karzon.

"I guess your riding with me," Mika said as she kicked off the horse and it walked in front of Karzon. He climbed up on the horse. This felt a little odd. He had never ridden a horse with anyone before. He usually had is own. And he was sitting in the back, another thing he never did when coming to ridding a horse. "I don't even what to know what your holding... by the way are you Malon or Karzon?"

"I'm Karzon, and don't worry this is just my arm," Karzon said and Mika raised her eye brows. She then noticed that he was missing an arm. She figured thats why she did not know to know what was in it. Just the way it was wrapped. She then turned her head towards Link and Malon. This was going to be a real quest all right, she could just imagine it now.

"Lead the way I've never been there before, nor heard of it," Mika said. Link then nodded and kicked off Epona. Epona the started galloping off towards the ranch. Mika kicked off her horse again and followed closely behind Link. The wind was blow drying Mika, and it was a nice breeze. As soon as Mika spotted what she though was the ranch she kicked off the horse again to make it go faster.

Mika and Karzon were now side by side to Malon and Link. Link Looked over at Mika. Sence she told him not to question her he was not going to ask her what she was doing. Mika then realized why she liked the breeze so much. She was free, she was never going to have to Go back to the Gerudos ever again. Everything she did was the start of her own life Mika Slazar.

"I'll race you the rest of the way!" Mika smirked then kicked off the gorse again, it went running in front for Epona. This took Link By Surpies, he had never seen a Gerudo act like the way she was acting. But he kind of thought it was cool. He kicked off Epona and she went running after Mika's horse. He was spurised when Mika got to the Entrance of the ranch before he did.

"Gezze Epona, first I can't do this quest alone and now your not even the fastest horse anymore..." Link laughed as Malon jumped off Epona and started to head into the Ranch. She new where to find her father, and to get the stuff she needed for the trip.

Karzon, Link and Mika jumped off the horse and followed Malon into the Ranch. She walked over to the house on the right and opened the door. In side the house was a bunch of Cuccos. They were flapping around and jumping on her sleeping father.

Malon walked over to Talon and kicked him lightly in his side. The other three walked in the house just in time as Talon rubbed his sleepy eyes. She looked up and smiled at Malon. He then quickly jumped to his feet when he saw she had brought guest with her

"Daddy I came home to tell you that I'm going to Help link Save Princess Zelda, Great Impa and Hyrule. I dunno how long it's going to take, but I though I'd tell you," Malon said and Talon raised his eye brows as he the really looked at his daughter, then looked at Link and the two new people, he knew one was a Gerudo and a Shika. A Shika man? He rubbed his head no more long naps for him.

"A Farmer, A Gerudo, A Shika and a Hero are going to Save Hyrule?" He asked and Malon gave him a hug before she started to head up the stairs. She had to get her bow. Link walked over and shook hands with Talon, though he had seen him just the other day.

"Yeah we are, Ganon's free," Link said and Talon nearly hit the roof. The news had not reached the Ranch yet. Talon then looked up at the room his daughter just entered. Link was for sure thinking that Talon was not going to let Malon go. But he Relaxed and sat back down where he was before he noticed the guest.

"Hyrule could not be in better hands," Talon said, this was the only chance there had been that Malon would be forced to stay behind. But that chance was now out the Window. Talon looked worried but he had faith in his daughter and it was time he showed it.

Malon entered the bedroom and looked around. It was a small room with two beds in it. A dresser against the wall and the opened closet door. Then at the foot of one bed there was a large trunk. It was her trunk, where she kept everything she owned. Which was hardly anything. But the trunk it's self was over a few hundred years old. Her great Grandfather Taff have given it to her when they had went to see him a few years ago.

She walked over to the trunk and bent down in front of it. There were all sorts of Crazy pictures carved into it. There were Twins carved on the trunk, old people young people. Dragons and strange symbols. Taff had told her it told about the past present and future. But Taff had always wondered who in his family the Trunk was made for. He said he had a feeling it was Malons so he gave it to her.

There was one carving on it that Malon liked the most. It was of a Woman with long hair that almost touched the ground. She held a bow high above her head. She was beautifully carved on the trunk. There was also a charm carved into her shirt, it was the symbol of healing. Malon ran her fingers across the top of the trunk before sliding her hand over to the handle. She pulled upwards on he handle and the trunk opened. Malon always made sure to clean the trunk ever week so it kept looking nice.

Inside the Trunk there were some clothes, her other pair of boots. Some paintings her father had given her. One of herself and her father. A few letters and a package that Taff had given her. He told her not to open it unless someone was in trouble. She never really understood what he meant by that. But now was a time when a dew people were in trouble. Malon slowly picked up the package and laid it on the floor. She pulled the string off the package, once the string was off the paper fell off easily reveling a silky purple shirt with a matching skirt. As she picked up the shirt two things that were wrapped in it fell to the ground. One made a loud clacking noise and the other was a piece of paper.

Malon first picked up the Iron thing. It looked like a handle of some type. It was quite heavy as well. She then picked up the piece of paper. Taff always left and explanation to every thing he gave out or did. Even if it did not make sence half the time. She unfolded the letter and read it.

Dear Malon,

My sweet Great Grandchild, the day shall come when you learn everything you ever wished of learning. The Iron handle you have with you, is very special. It's part of the legendary Staff of Healing. The Staff that had been ripped to pieces and send out all over Hyrule. The Out fit used to belong to my great grandmother. She passed it down to my wife and we had given it to your mother the day she married your father. Your mother Malon was a strong fighter and worrier. And tush I entrust you with the handle of the Staff of Healing and the outfit your mother loved so much. Love, Your Great Grandfather, Taff.

Malon folded up the piece of paper and put it in the pocket of the skirt, sence she was going to change into the outfit. This had been her mothers It was weird how things worked out. Malon quickly changed into her new outfit so not to keep the others waiting any longer. She picked up a small bag and put the handle into it. She had never heard of the Staff of Healing before.

Malon quickly looked in the mirror. She then walked over to the trunk and pulled out a pair of pants and her boots. She was going most likely on a dangerous mission filled with monsters and Demons, defiantly sence Ganon was involed. It would not be a good thing to run around with a skirt on that went above her knees.

She pulled the pants on then slipped into the boots. She just needed one more thing before she left. She walked over to the closet and pushed all the clothes aside. There lay her bow. She picked it up and smiled. She did not need any arrows, arrows to her were optional. See Her bow was a magic bow. If she though about it an arrow would appear in the form of Ice, Fire, Wind, Light or dark. Those were the only magical arrows she knew how to summon. If she put and arrow in this bow the arrow would fly extremely fast and it had cut threw her board.

This was another item she had been handed down from her mother. Her father had given it to her when she was around nine years old, and early birthday gift. All set and ready to go Malon walked out of the room and headed back down to the steps. Her father was the only one down here. The others must have went out side to wait for her.

"You look nice dear," Talon said as he stood up again as he studied Malons new outfit. She spun around then held her arms open as her dad hugged her. Talon then pulled out a purple hair tie out of his pocket and handed it to Malon. She had been looking for this hair tie for the past few days. She had finally remembered she told her dad to hold it for her why she was putting the horses away.

"It's mommy's outfit, Taff gave it to me," Malon said and Talon put his hands to Malons face. She was so old now. She did look like her mother a lot. And now she was starting to act like her mother as well. Who would have though That Malons mother would have died the way she did.

"Now all your missing of your mother is her boots and her cape. But she was buried with her boots. I forgot what happened to her cape. But I'm sure it will find you like everything else. Her and Pomdima had been best friend you know," Talon said and as Pomdima's name come up Malon remembered about Link. She snapped her fingers and ran over to the front door. She looked out it and like she though, Karzon, Mika and Link were looking at the horses.

"HEY Link! Come here for a second!" Malon yelled. Link turned towards her then said something to the other two then started walking towards the house again. Once he got to the door Malon pulled him in side then shut it. Both Link and Talon looked a bit confused. Malon then pushed link towards Talon. As the three of them were as close as they could get with out touching each other.

"Daddy, Link, well Link is Pomdimas son!" Malon said and Link blushed slightly Little. Talons mouth dropped open as he stared at Link. Ever sence the day he found out Pomdima was going to have a son with a man besides his brother he always wanted to know who the kid was. It was funny because he never dreamed it would be link.

Talon looked link over like he did with Malon. He did look like his sister in law, he wondered why he never had seen it before. Balon and Jade would be thrilled to meet Link. Even though it was Jades half brother and really nothing to Balon. Balon also wanted to know who the kid was and what he or she would grow up to be like. But now he knew, and he was damn proud of Link.

"Welcome to the family my boy!" Talon said as he embraced link tightly. Malon clapped her hands. When Talon let go of Link Malon kissed her dad on his forehead before Taking links arm again. They really had to go now to meet Taff before dark. They had waist to much time here already. More then she had expected.

"I'll be back soon daddy, and in one piece!" Malon added and Talon waved to her. There was nothing that she did that did not impresses him. She truly was the angel in his heart. He loved his daughter more then anything in the world. He was glad she was making the choice to go save Hyrule. Having a Hero for his daughter was more then he could ask for. But she would always be his little girl.

"What was that all about?" Karzon asked as Malon and Link walked out of the door. Malon looked more prettier then she had before. Malon just smiled and braided her hair really quickly. She then tied it back with her hair tie.

"Got the horses ready?" Malon asked and Mika nodded as she patted the one horse she was holding and pointed to the one that Karzon had. Link and Mika then started to walk out of the ranch to fetch their own horses. Malon mounted the horse that Mika was holding. It's name was Ginger, The one Karzon had was named Blaze. Karzon had a bit of trouble mounding his horse while holding his arm. But he managed to get up on the back of the horse.

"You never answered me," Karzon said as he placed his bundle down so he could grab the raneas that were around the horse. Malon patted Ginger's head before looking over at Karzon. He was not lying when he was talking to Malon last night. She giggled. But she did not want to explode her and links little finds out just yet. She still needed time for it to sink into her brain.

"Daddy just wanted to say good by to Link. Daddies known link ever sence the day he left the forest. He feels like Family," Malon said, she was going to wait to ask him about the staff of Healing, she wanted to be with Mika and Link so Karzon would not have to explain it three of for times, if he ever knew about it.

The two then kicked off the horse and went ridding off to Mika and Link who were already to get going mounded on their horses and everything. The for of them together looked like a cult, or some sort of new formation of a group. But they were four totally different people who held and lived different lives. The only thing they really had in common was, they were on a mission to save Hyrule, and soon they would become best friends.

"Could we stop by the forest really fast, there's someone I really need to get before we head out to find a cure and a way to stop Ganon," Link asked and the other three sighed. They might as well, they were stopping everywhere today. And the Forest was near the lake so a little detour was not going to hurt.

They turned their horses in the direction of the forest and kicked off. The four of them road side by side. Mika also did not know where the forest was so she could not offer another race. She had found out that she loved to race. She had only tried it once with the other Gerudos before she got punished. Mika looked at Link. He looked so much like her old love.

The way he reacted when she said she wanted to race. The way he helped her out of the water and then how he picked out the two hours that Karzon and Malon were ridding. Just the way he did everything was just like Jonny. Mika shook her head, that was the thing, Jonny was no longer with her, and Link was not Jonny nor would he ever bee Jonny. She sucked in a deep breath as she put her left hand on the side of her stomach. She would never ever forgive the Gerudos.

The Entrance of the forest was coming up. The grand beautiful Entrance that Link, Zelda and Impa first met Karzon at. Not one of the greatest memories of all time but it was there. Link pulled Epona to a stop and the others followed his lead.

Link jumped off the back of Epona. Malon waited a moment this might be a good time to bring up the staff of Healing. She jumped off Ginner and pulled out the part of the staff from the bag she had with her. Mika, Link and Karzon looked at Malon as she held it up in the air.

"Taff gave this to me, he said it was part of the Staff of Healing, I was hoping you would know something about the Staff Karzon. I mean the Charm around your neck has the symbol of Healing on it," Malon said. Karzon gasped in shock as he looked onto the handle that Malon was holding. Mika nor link had ever heard about the Staff before so they were just as lost as Malon was.

Karzon placed his bundle on the ground then took the handle from Malon. He looked it over a few times. It was not just a Myth. There was really such a thing as the staff of Healing. He never though he's live to see the Staff. Let alone touch it. He looked at Malon, Taff must have really trust her if he gave her this. This gave Karzon a better reason to like her, she was trust worthy.

"I only know a small bit of the history of the Staff, but all I can say is whoa," Karzon said as he handed it back to Malon. "That Staff was said to have powers beyond everyone dreams. The Three goddess did not expect anyone to make such a powerful weapon so they had it split into six parts."

"Oh I remembered now! I heard about this, But The Gerudos called it the Staff of Mortal Power not the Staff of Healing," Mika said in aw as she also took the handle to look over it. Of course this was one of the many items the Gerudos wished to own but they never found any information in it. Mika also never though she'd lay eyes on such a powerful weapon. Karzon then bent back over and picked up his bundle so he would not leave it any where.

"What could the staff of Healing do?" Link asked now very interested in this Staff, or the handle at least. Malon shrugged her shoulders. She whised she new, but if this staff could really heal stuff and had such great powers she was starting to wonder if this Item could Heal Zelda and Impa.

But they would have to get all the pieces and put the staff back together. If that was all they had to do maybe this was going to be simpler task. So Malon though any ways. Mika handed her back the handle and Malon put it in her bag.

"I'm not sure, but what ever it does, it's extremely powerful," Karzon said and link frowned, well they were going to the person who had given it to Malon. Link hoped Taff knew what the staff did of a cure for Zelda and Impa.

Link then waved his hand for the other three to follow him as he walked to the entrance of the Forest. They Mika and Malon cleared their minds about the staff for now and they wanted to know what Link had to do here. Karzon on the other hand was still thinking about the staff.

The four of them walked threw the enteric of the forest. Everyone was really admased by the beauty of the inside of the forest. They started walking across the small wooden bridge. Link was not to impressed, he had lived here for a few years of his life before he was sent out the first time to save Hyrule. Hardly anyone came to the forest and noon of the forest kids left it.

Once they were across the bridge they had to walk threw another tunnel. This time they had to bend down some to get threw it. These tunnels were made in kid size for the Kokiri children and not for anyone Else. Mika had to duck down the lowest because they way she had her hair up it was bumping against the top of the tunnel.

Link was the first to get out of the tunnel and the first to be spotted by the first Kokiri child. He seamed a rather bit shocked and ran off at the first sign of Link. Link rolled his eyes, no matter how many times he told them that this was him, Link, just older they always ran off scared.

"Return to me my old friend..." Link said softly as he looked around the forest. The other three walked out of the tunnel as wall and were more admased by the forest. It just kept getting better and better. Some the houses were made out of looked like Large tree trunks. There were plants and flowers all over the place. Fairies were flying around.

Link took another step, he then crossed his arms and a smile grew on his face as his old enemy started walking towards them. Mido. He still had that goofy walk of his and he still acted like the boss. Link guessed that never growing up meant never changing your attitude either.

Mika never even hearing about the Kokiri children did not know that Mido was the one running the show next to the great Deku Tree. She found it quite odd that a bunch of little kids were walking towards them. And the attitude that shined on Midos face, Mika just felt like slapping it off him.

"Ah Link what are you doing back here?" Mido said and Link looked down at him. Last time Link came here Mido was up to his waits. Now he was twice as tall. Link smiled, he loved being taller then Mido. It just made him feel better that the little brat could not pick on him like he used to when Link was shorted then he was.

"I'm here for Navi," Link said as he looked around the forest he would have spotted her if she was flying around out here. She must be over with the Great Deku tree then. Mido did not like the answer Link gave him. He leaned on his side and was not the one who smirked.

"The boy with out a Fairy, also the only Kokiri who grew up. Your one weird Guy Link, and I mean that in the most harmful way," Link started laughing. He could not believe Mido had really upset him when he was younger. His words now just sounded so stupid.

"Sorry Mido but no harm was done. Sorry if I disappointed you in any way shape for form," Link said then he got down on his knees. Then said in a low whisper so only Mido could hear. "I may not have grown up with a fairy but I'm doing a few things you'll never do, I'm going to get married to a princess, and I might become a father."

"What!" Mido yelped, not really at the fact that he did not believe anyone could not get married or have kids of their own. But He never though Link could amount to anything. He was just a scarnny little fairyless brat. Then for Link to get married to a princess and have a kid was totally out of the picture. Then Link also towered over him and that gave Mido a little scare.

"Yep now out of my way shortie I got to find Navi and be on my way," Link put His hand on Midos head then pushed him out of the way. He laughed light as he stood up and started to head towards the direction of the great Deku Tree.

"Hey! What about these people! No Adults allowed in the forest! Unless your of Importance!" Mido yelled, he did not want Link to win all the way, so he though he would bug the people Link had brought with him. Link looked over his shoulder at Malon, Karzon and Mika. The three could easily take out the Kokiri children. But he though he'd have a little more fun with Mido.

"Oh yeah Mido try and stop them, I'm sure Karzon would be happy to show you his arm. And I don't think You want to mess with Mika, or even Malon. So your best bet is to run back to your little house," Link said with a smile. Then Karzon waved at Mido with his stump that was now his right arm. Mido took a step back as they three walked after Link and headed for the Great Deku Tree.

"Was that!!" Serria yelled as she ran out of her house. She looked as she watched four adults walk away from Mido. Serria clapped her hands together then started to run towards them. The on in the lead, in the Green Tunic and the hat. It had to be Link. "LINK!"

Serria ran in between Malon and Karzon. Then she opened her arms up and latched herself to Links Legs. This took Link by surprise and he went falling face forward hitting the ground. He was thankful for the patch of grass he had fallen in.

"Oh Link! I've missed you so much! You got so much bigger as well! Oh I'm so happy your here!" Sarria yelled happy still hugging onto Links legs. Mika crossed her arms and looked at this scene. This new person acted like she was Links daughter or something, or Links lost lover.

"I sure hope thats not this Navi he spoke of looking for," Mika said as she placed her hands on her hips. Thats one thing she did not want to wonder around with them. A little kid that hardly reached Mika's knees. Malon giggled. It appeared Mika was not to found of the Kokiri kids. Neither was Malon, she hardly liked the forest.

"No Navi's a fairy," Malon said and Mika looked over at Malon then Back at Link who had finally pulled Serria off his legs. But once he got her off his legs she leaped at him again hugging him around his waist.

"Oh, this is a little fan I'm guessing," Mika said and Serria looked at Mika. Serria had never seen a person with her skin color before. Serria then let go of Link. She jumped behind him scared. Mika's skin color reminded her of the color of the Moblins skin. And sence Serria was the sage of the forest she remember what a moblin looked like.

"You scared her Mika," Karzon said and Mika snatched Karzon's bundle away from him. Karzon tried to grab it back.

"I might scare her but `m sure she's scared of you as well, Mr. one arm!" Mika laughed as she held Karzon's bundle out of his reach every time he tried to grab it back to her. Serria blinked and realized that these people were not harmful. If they were with Link then they must be good.

"It's nice to see you again as well Serria, do you know where Navi is?" Link asked and Serria hugged him again. She then held up her index finger meaning, give me a moment I'll go get her. She then turned and ran off. Link got back up to his feet and garbed Karzon's bundle from Mika. Mika started laughing at how easily Link had garbed it from her.

Link the tossed it to Malon. Malon was not really paying attention but looking at a flower, the bundle hit her on her forehead and landed in her arms. Malons eyes widened, she screamed then threw wit up in the air. Link and Mika then busted out into laughed as Karzon caught it again. Malon shivered as she walked over to Karzon who had now started laughing as well.

Malon walked over to link and pushed him lightly. He took a step backwards then pushed Malon back lightly. Mika joined in and pushed them both into Karzon. The three of them tripped over a small log and landed on their butts.

"I've fallen and can't get up!" Link joked as Mika walked over to them and looked down at them. She extended her hand out to them to help them back up. The three of them looked at one another then they each grabbed a hold of Mika's hand and pulled her down wards. She fell on top of the three of them. They were having to much of a good time waiting for Serria to come back.

"Let me back up, this does not look right and we are surrounded by Children!" Mika said and that only made the other three crack up some more. Mika pushed her own self back up. Link then Sat up with his legs over the Log. Malon was now so happy she decided to put the pants on. She just had a feeling that something like this was going to happen.

Malon was the next to sit up and she helped Karzon sit up as well. Mika then turned away from then and started laughing. They were puzzled on what Mika now found so funny. She turned back towards them, she first put her hands over her ears, then she put them over her eyes then on her mouth they then finally got why she was laughing.

"Hear one evil, see no evil, speak no evil, you three look like money's with your legs over that log," Mika said, the three laughed as Link fixed his hat. He looked at Mika then said.

"What does that make you? Do no evil?" Mika smiled brightly and spun around in a circle.

"Of course! I'm am the perfect little angel I do no wrong!" Mika said then she lost her smile as she though about the Gerudos. She had done something very wrong. She took in a deep breath and let it out slowly. Karzon was the first to notice her sudden change of moods. What had they done or said to make her go from so happy to depressed.

Mika walked back over to them and helped each one back to their feet. She knew she should not let what the Gerudos did to her put her down. She was free from them. But it was her mistake, she just hoped she could find Jonny again. When Mika helped Link and Malon up they then noticed her mood chance and how she did not want to joke around anymore. They was much about her they wanted to know, but she had told them not to question her, they were going to keep to that and not ask her anything.

A few minutes latter Sarria came running back to them. She had her hands cupped over something small. Links heart pounded in his chest, was she holding Navi. Navi may have been annoying sometimes when he was on his first mission to save Hyrule. But he really missed the little flying blue ball.

"Navi here's your surprises!" Serria said as she opened her hand and a fairy was now hovering in the air. The fairy looked around the spotted Link. She made a little twinkling sound, she looked rather shocked as well. She then shot up in the air and started flying around Link who smiled at the fairy.

"Link! Oh Link in that you?" Navi said, she had a small soft voice. She cuddled up to Links face as he laughed light. He then took Navi in his hands and looked down at her. Navi knew that Link had not just came here to visit. He needed her help again.

"Navi, I'm on another mission to Save Hyrule, and I bet sence Ganon is free again his monsters are going to be running around the place just like last time, I wanted to know if you'd come with me?" Link asked and Serria gasped, she did not know Ganon was Free. She was now really scared.

"Ganon! Oh he's nothing but a bully! Of course I'll come with you! I've missed you so much!" Navi said as she flew into Links hat. He smiled, just like the old days. Navi then flew back out of his hat, she looked at Link then flew back down to Serria.

"If Hyrules in trouble that means we got to hurry! Tell the great Deku where I'm going!" Navi said then she flew off at lightning speed towards the exit of the forest. Link smiled then bet down and hugged Sarria one last time.

"Sorry to cut this short but two peoples life is one the Line, Princess Zelda and Impas. I'll see you around! NAVI WAIT UP!" Link yelled as he ran after the fairy. He had found what he came for now they needed to go find Taff. Malon, Mika and Karzon then ran after him, they really wanted to get out of the forest now. Malon and Karzon where really looking forward to their meeting with Taff. Mika did not know where they were going now but she knew she would soon find out, she hoped any ways.

Serria stood there with a smile on her face until the four people were out of sight. Then her smile slowly started to turn upside down. She was more then mad that the only reason why Link came back was to get his old fairy partner. He did not even say hardly anything to her. He was more worked about Princess Zelda and Impa.

She then started grinding her teeth. How could he be so rude like that. Mido walked over to Sarria. HE saw she was not in a good mood. This made him happy because he knew Link had put her in the rotten mood. Mido was quite happy that Link had left quickly

"Stupid Princess Zelda! Thats all he ever thinks about! Zelda, Zelda, Zelda!" Serria said, Mido's grin was so large now that he was showing all his teeth and his gums. He then took in a deep breath and did the `coolest' walk he knew how to do. Then he put a comforting hand on Serria's shoulder and she looked at him.

He was not sure if he wanted to Tell Serria that Link was going to be marrying the person she just called stupid. It was very good information to make Sarria not like Link at all anymore. But then again it might hurt Serria really bad. But what did Mido have to lose she'd get over it sooner or later. She had almost totally forgot about him tell he came back today.

"Well Link told me he's going to get married to Princess Zelda, they are also going to have a kid together. You know Like we are the Great Deku trees kids. He may never come back here once he gets a family," Mido said and Serria's eyes got all watery. This is what Mido did not want to happen. He was not good at handling crying girls. She wiped her tears away and growled lightly. Mido jumped back he have never see Serria so made before.

"Stupid Link! Stupid Zelda!" She said then started to walk back towards her house. She was so mad right now show could pop. Mido then smiled again when Serria was out of sight. Now that she hated link Mido had the perfect chance to get with Serria. This was almost to good to be true.

Mido turned around to go to his own house only to almost crash into a pair of legs. He jumped back as he looked skyward to see the persons face. He started shaking as a person who looked exactly like link. But this Link was much more scary looking with red eyes, and white skin. Dark Link then bent down and was now face to face with Mido. Mido was freaking out, he did everything Link did!

Mido was about to turn and run away but Dark Link grabbed a hold of his shit and pulled him close to him. Dark Link then read Midos mind like a book. This was going just the way he and Ganon planned this. Dark Link then stood up taking Mido with him. Mido then started kicking around to be put down. But is actions did not phase Dark Link.

"I could us you Mido my boy. Not only can you destroy this stupid forest you live in but you and your little friend Serria are going to help me Kill Link. How does that sound? Then when you and Serria kill Link you both can live together as Dark King and Queen of the forest, who needs a big talking tree when you have power!" Dark Link said and Mido was now extremely scared. He had never been so scared in all of his life. He never really wanted to Kill link, he just thought it was funny to make fun of him, embarrassed him and take his girl. Then the though of destroying the forest was horrible. He'd rather not have Serria like him the have her like him why they messed up their home.

But Mido did not have a chance to scream, a chance to warn Link or warn Serria. The Dark Magic flowed from Dark Links hand and into Mido's body. Mido then started to get taller and stronger. Once the transformation was complete Dark Link smiled at his new creation.

"Got to the temple or Healing and stay there until I or Serria give you further commands got it?" Dark Link snapped at The new evil Mido. Mido nodded his head then disappeared. Dark Link had one more thing to do before going back to Gonan's castle. He closed his eyes and his appearance changed back into the normal Link style.

Dark Link brushed his hair back as he walked towards Serria's house. Some of the Kokiri looked out their house windows and wondered when Link came back in the forest. They had not been able to see Dark Link in his other form. Dark Link had all the information he needed from Mido to know just the way to Charm Serria into doing what ever he wanted.

He walked up to Sarries house, It was kind of Small, He hoped he'd fit into it. He bent down slightly then walked into the door. Serria was shocked when she saw Link or who she though was Link walk into her house. He smiled, Serria stood up from her sitting spot and walked over to him. He had to hurry up and charm her before she figured something was wrong, she was the Sage of the Forest. She would be a powerful dark warrior. Not as strong as him though but she would get there. It all depends on how long it took for the real link to come back and destroy her for messing with the forest. Dark Link smiled, his plane was perfect, he bent down next to Serria.

"I just came to ask you if you'd like to come with me, I decided it was not worth while if you did not come with me on this mission," Dark Link said and Serria smiled clapping her hands over her heart. This is just what Dark Link wanted her to do, she was falling into his trap.

"Sure! But what about the others? And what about Zelda, you seam to care more about her then me," Serria said crossing her arms. Dark Link then smiled gently and gave Serria a hug. He made a mental note in his mind to take a shower once he got back to Ganons castle. This being nice stuff was not becoming.

"Oh Zelda? I don't care for her, she's a royal pain in the ass. I'm only doing this to save Hyrule so nothing happens to the forest where you are my dear," Dark Link said which was not all a lie. HE did think Zelda was a pain in the ass. After she beated his head with a stone, he hoped she died slowly and painfully.

Serria broke off the hug with link and started jumping around happily. This is what she had been waiting to hear all her life. It sounded almost to good to be true. Thats what scared her. One moment link wanted to hurry out of here faster then he came in. Could a man really change their mind so fast?

Dark Link took hold oh Serria's arm, she was so short, that was the only thing making this harder then Dark Link though. He did not want her to know he was evil just yet, she would have enough time to call upon her Sage powers and his plan would be all messed up.

"Look Serria is it so hard to believe the only reason why I did not come back to the forest was because I though you liked Mido more then you liked me. He is the `hip' guy around here and I did not grow up with a fairy," Dark Link said and Serria got hearts in her eyes.

"I don't like Mido silly, I've always like you...no I love you link!" Serria said and Dark Link tried to hid the smirk that was growing on his face. What a simple sap, she was the sage of the forest, she could not even tell he was evil. He should ever had been worried. This was so easy he almost felt sorry for the sap.

"Then kiss me to prove you love me more the Mido," Dark Link said, once she kissed him she would be in his trap in his spell. When he saw Serria blush a deep red he knew he was going to be the one who left laughing. He could not wait to get this over with so he could start laughing at how stupid she was. He also had to get this done and over with before The great Deku tree felt his presence.

Serria was to thrilled and happy to notice she was going into a dark trap. She walked closer to Link. Even though now he was older then her and taller then her. That did not change a thing. She leaned forward to kiss him slowly. Dark Link was not going to wait that long, he pushed his lips to hers. Then his good link image melted away and his dark Form reappeared. The Darkness flowed from his lips and entered Serria's.

Dark Link pushed Serria off him and started laughing his evil cackle. He was just having a ball with this one. Serria started coughing, his dark magic would have to eat away at her sage powers before she turned evil, but at least he had done his job.

"You fool, do you think the real link has feelings of love for you? He's in love with Zelda and if he managed to save her life they are going to get married you little Brat. Though he's a fool he's not as stupid as you. I can't believe a Sage fell for my acting!" Dark Link said and Serria glared at Dark Link, she felt the evil energy flow threw her body. She should have known it was a trap.

"You monsters! Evil man!" Serria said as she wiped her mouth. She was now also embarrassed for falling such a stupid thing. She knew how much the real Link liked Zelda. Dark Link as right she could never go between him and Zelda. This made the evil energy grow faster. Dark Link was loving this.

"Your going to become an evil monster just like me Serria, also before kissing one again you might want to practice a bit more, kissing a floor is better then kissing you," Dark Link said, taunting her and making her mad would make this go a lot faster. Serria as mad as she could get started to grow tall like Mido did, she was now evil, just like Dark link, Heartless and curl. But she had to take orders from him so she could not mess with him like he had played her.

"Serria, first off you can do what ever you want to this forest, I don't really care what happens to it. Then I want you to go to the temple of Healing with Mido. Link will be around there soon enough and when he comes I want you to kill him and his little friends he brought with him.," Dark Link said as he walked out of Serria's house, just a few more temples to take over and he was set for the rest of the day off.

"Are you sure Taff is going to be here?" The real Link yelled over to Malon. She looked back over at him and nodded his head. She was positive that Taff would be here unless he left already. The horses jumped up the gates that lead to the lake and Navi stayed cozy in side links hat.

The four of them rounded a corner and the lake was in view. The Lake was a lot deeper then it looked. It had to be at least a good thirty feet deep. Malon pulled her horse to a stop, she looked at the fishing pond across the lake and then the laboratory that was closet to them.

Malon jumped off Ginger and walked towards the lab. The other three were quick to act and ran after her. They were all a bit nervous to meet an Oracle. Not only that he was Malons Great Grandfather. Which meant he was really old.

Malon took hold of the handle and opened the door slowly. She walked in first followed by Link, Then Karzon and Finally Mika. Malon hated this lab, there were monsters floating around in jars, heads eyes and bodies of fish floating around in some as well. She looked around and quickly spotted the Sciences guy who ran the place.

"Malon my dear what an horror to meet you again," The man said, he was kind of freaky looking. His back was hunched, and he had the scariest set of teeth that Malon had ever seen on a human before. His gray hair was half tucked under a blue hat. Malon tired to smile with out looking discussed.

"Yeah same here? Is Taff still-"

"Yes I'm hear my dear," Taff said as he walked slowly out of the back room. Link, Karzon and Mika's mouth dropped opened and almost hit the floor. Taff looked like a walking corps. He had a small hunch in his back, his face was full of wrinkles and the part of his hands that were not being covered up by bright blue rubs were long and bonny.

Taff had a can in his hand and it made an odd clacking sound every time it hit the floor. When he walked it more or less looked like he was dragging his feet, like he could not longer lift them off the ground. Taff was missing one eyes and his empty socked looked like a dark black hole. His other eye was the scariest part about him. It kept shooting around, looking at everything. They wondered who it was possible for him to get around with such a crazy eye.

Malon walked over to him and gave him a light hug so not to hurt him. He put his boney arm around her shoulder to hug her back. His robe sleeved was backed up and they saw his arm. It was practiclly nothing but a bone with skin wrapped around it and his veins were defiantly showing. How this guy lived so long was beyond imagination.

Taff Let go of Malon and walked slowly over to the three others. He walked in front of Link and studied him for a moment. Taff opened his mouth to say something, but then shut his mouth like it would be a bad thing to say. He turned towards Karzon, looked him over a little then touched the bundle that he was holding. Taff then smiled.

"Can I see that young lad?" Taff asked, his voice was more shaky then it was before. It sounded like he was spitting out dust. Karzon did not say a word he just handed Taff his arm. He had never seen some one as old as Taff, or as scary as the other old guy in the room. Taff handed Malon his cane as he unwrapped Karzons arm.

Once the arm was fully un wrapped Taff tossed the cloth aside and examined it with his eye. He held it up in the light and Mika covered her mouth. She did not know what to do at the side of the arm, make a crack about it or throw up. Taff then turned the arm to it's side so he could look at the bone and see what had caused his arm to be cut off.

Taff took one of his long boney fingers and ran it across the bone and the blood. He then licked his finger and handed the arm back to Karzon. Karzon was now grossed out, that had been the sickest thing he had seen so far in his life. Link was now extremely happy all he had eaten was bread this morning or he would have lost it all in that moment.

Mika on the other had was not to grossed out by that. She had seen a lot worse done. She shut her eyes not wanting to think about that right now. It was all in her past, Nothing like that would ever happened to anyone every again. Taff noticed Mika's emotion change and looked at her, he studied her for a moment before turning his attention back to Karzon who looked ill.

"I can reattach your arm, but you shall have no feeling in it. But on the upside you'll have a powerful grip," Taff said as he looked at Karzons right arm where it had been sliced off. "You used the magic of the Healing god to heal this wound?"

"No I did..." Malon said softly and Taff turned to her with a grin on his face. He walked over to her and gave her another hug. He had always wanted her to call upon the Healing gods, but the last time he saw her shirt though he was a crazy old fool like the three of them did now. But he knew now Malon had believed every word he had told her.

"Now back to what I was doing," Taff said as he let go of Malon and walked back over to Karzon. He took the arm from him again and placed it where it should have been. Or where it was before it was cut off. Taff then took his other hand and started waving it in front of Karzons arm. Within a fracture of a second Karzons arm was re attached. Karzon lifted it up to look at it. It was not a lighter color then the rest of his skin was. It must have been from the loss of blood.

"What a shame that arm would have looked nice on my wall," The Lab old man said and Karzon took a step back. Though his arm was nothing like it used to be it was still his arm and he did not think it would look nice in a jar.

"We came here to ask about-"

"I know why your here Link," Taff said and Link blinked a few times. Link looked over at Malon who lifted her shoulders then dropped them. She did not know what Taff was doing, it appeared he was getting side tracked from what they wanted to ask him. But this was the same thing that happened when Malon had came with her father.

"But she's-"

"I know, question time comes later," Taff said as he walked over to Mika. She took a step back not wanting to be so close to the old guy in fear if she touched him is arm would fall off. She also had been so stuck in her own thoughts he scared her when he just appear in front of her. Taff then touched the Mika's side, Taff frowned then looked up at her. Mika was a very interesting person.

"A Gerudo who hates what she is, the first Gerudo I've ever met like that. But you have very good reasons to hate them. And there is the scare, your scared forever by the hatred the Gerudos shown towards you," Mika looked horrified as Taff poked her side. Her expression got the attention of everyone in the room. She also looked like she was going pale.

Mika was so confused on how Taff could have known she wore this weird Gerudo outfit to hide the scare on her side. She had been trying to hide it all her life. That was the reason why she hated the Gerudos. They had given her this scare, but the scare was not the problem it was everything the Gerudos had taken with it when she received the scare.

"There is no way-"

"I know Jonny," Taff said and Mika shut up. That name, the person who fit with the name. Did Jonny ever come to him. Did Jonny see what was going to happen in the further but still stuck by Mika's side. Why did the Oracle have to bring him up?

"You knew him?" Mika asked and Taff nodded his head. Then took Mika's hands and flipped them over. He looked at her Palms then closer her hands. She was going threw a lot a mess. But he simply smiled back at her. He took his boney fingers off hers then reached deep down into her pocket. He pulled out a piece of paper and handed it to Mika. She looked at it with a puzzled look on her face. It looked like some sort of Map.

"That will lead you to Jonny," Again Mika got the look of horror appeared on her face again. Taff knew that would be her reaction. Just by looking at Mika's palms he knew more about her then even she did. Taff nodded his head again. "I made that map, I took Jonny there and what was her name, Sameria? She's there as well worth Jonny always stays by his side."

"But...but...that can't be true! It just can't be true!" Mika said and Taff rested his hand back on Mika's hand that held the map. He felt that she wanted to cry but her Gerudo pride stood in the way. She was also been beaten, it would take more then this news to make her cry.

"You shall also need this map to find the portal that will take you to find the rest of the Staff of Healing," Taff said and Malon deiced this should be the time she jumped into the conversation. Taff had stirred up a bunch of weird emotions with everyone in the room. She walked over to her Great Grandfather and handed him his cane.

"We need to find the cure for Zelda and Impa, Can the staff of Healing cure them? I mean you gave me the handle of the staff?" Malon as she looked out the handle and showed it to Taff. He grinned again as he ran his fingers over the cold powerful metal. He nodded them laughed as much as he could before coughing.

"This my dear is the only thing in all of the world that can save Princess Zelda and Great Impa. The cures Ganon put on them is a very wise one unless you have this staff. Thats why I'm guess he put that simple but deadly cure on them. The next piece of this staff can be found in the old mine caves Under Hyrule. The rest, you must find the clues after retrieving the next part. There are Six parts all together and they create the most powerful weapon," Taff said as he patted the Handle then motioned for her to put it away. Malon did just that. Karzon looked at the Old man.

"Whats the Legend of the Staff?" Taff nodded, now a days hardly anyone remember the staff. Or what wonders it could do. But that was a good thing, no one would be stupid enough to go look for it and tired to gain it's power. But sence they were going out to look for it he though they should know the legend.

"A long time a go before my great great Grandfather was born six magical sages, met with the three goddesses. Their world was dying and they needed a way to bring it back to it's feet. The Goddess gave them each the same amount of power so none would be stronger then the other. No fights about power would not break lose. The six of them each made a part of the Staff of Healing each part just as strong as the next. But once all six pieces were put together the ultament power was born. The staff cured all sickness, curses, arms being cut off. Change vast deserts into a lush green forest. The Staff was simple the greatest thing ever. This was not worried the goddesses at least the world was not going to bend over and die. They did however get worried when the staff even had the power to bring back the dead, No matter what was missing the staff would bring them back to life. Then the people ended up killing the sages because they wanted the power. The greediness of the people forced the goddess to destroy the staff splitting it back into six pieces. Sending it all over Hyrule, because it was the kingdom they had trusted the most, the only kingdom that had not gone mad to get the power. Anther reason why the Triforce was kept in Hyrule as well," Taff explained to them. All four of them had gotten into the legend.

Mika was shocked at the staffs power to bring a person back to life after being dead and even missing some parts of their body. Organs or anything. He slowed her breathing a little as she tried to take in this information. The staff was very deadly, she understood why the goddesses broke it appear. But if it was the only thing to save the princess and Impa she guessed they would have to get the parts and put it back together.

"Zelda is going to be saved!" Link said as he got all happy again. Navi flew out of his hat. She had been sleeping most of the time. Malon hugged Link, at least there was a way. They had a fighting chance to get Impa and Zelda back on their feet.

"You better go now children, time is short and your five pieces short for the staff, Malon please be careful my dear," Taff said and Malon hugged him one last time. "Remember in the old mine caves, thats where the next part is located, but a word of advice! You are not to use this staffs power for anything besides curing Zelda and Impa. Use if for anything other deed and the staff shall backfire of you. Only a worth cause in now the only way for the staff to work. Such the curse the Goddesses placed on it. So no one will abuse the power again."

"All right Great Grandfather! See you soon," Malon said as she blew him a kiss. Then the four of them walked out of the lab and back out into the fresh air. They looked at the setting son! Had they really been in there that long.

"We should camp out here for the night, not in there though, I'd rather sleep out side then in that place," Link said as he looked around. Epona walked over to him and nuzzled her nose against his face. He patted her head. The skull kids did not come around the lake.

"Agreed," They all said, they grabbed on to their own horses and moved over to where the grass was the biggest to give them a half decent place to sleep. Mika walked to the sore of the lake to gather rocks for their fire. Karzon and link went looking for any sticks they could possible find. But to get any sticks the two guys had to swim in the lake to the tree that was on the small island out in the center.

The Water was cold as Link dived in followed shortly after Karzon. The two of them then swam towards the little island. Navi stayed back on the main land with Malon and Mika. She knew she should have went with link, but the two guys practically stripped naked before they went in the water. They were both down to their boxers. (Yes they have boxers hey I duunno what kind of undergarments the Zelda men wear).

Karzon reached the little Island fist. He shook his head to dry his hair off some. He waited for Link to get out of the water. He looked at the tree then down at the stone that was sticking out of the ground. It had some words carved into it. Karzon walked over to it and it read `Shoot for the morning light'.

"How are we going to carry the sticks back with out them getting wet?" Karzon said and Link laughed. Karzon eyed him, he did not think that was a very funny question. Link pointed Behind Karzon.

Karzon turned around and saw a bridge! A Bridge that was connected to the side of the Lab. Karzon now felt really stupid. What was the point of swimming all the way over here when they could have simply kept all their clothes on and walked across the bridge?

"Hey I felt like swim," Link said as he started walking around picking up twigs and branches. Karzon could not believe this guy., He felt like a swim? Karzon was freezing right now as the wind blew gently over him. Every part of his body was cold but his right hand. He then sighed giving up trying to figure out what kind of stunt link was trying to pull over his eyes.

Karzon hoped Link was as cold as he was. Last night was bad enough he did not need to re-live another one of those moments but with the real link this time and not an impostor. He picked up as many sticks as he could hold and Link turned towards him.

"You can carry move if you shove some in your trunks," Karzon frowned as Link walked away to the bridge laughing.

"But some in your trunks...harr harr," Karzon imitated Link as he started walking after him. This was going to be one long trip. As he walked across the wooden bridge alone, sence Link walked ten times faster then Karzon did, he though about Malon. She must think he was a real fool for diving into the icy water and not walking across the bridge.

He looked up from his bundle of sticks as Malon walked over to the end to meet Link. What was the connection between the two of them. He then watched as Malon walked back to their little camp sight. he was jelouse when the two of them were together. The way she would laugh and hug him. It made him sick to his stomach.

He never though he'd feel so strongly for a girl after hardly known her. She knew link much longer then she knew Karzon. They were friends, but Karzon had a little quizzy feeling in his gut. He did not want the two to get any closer then they already were. He just wanted, Malon to notice him more. He shook his head, what a though, he really wanted Malon to look up to him.

As he finally got off the bridge Link was fully dressed and was waiting for Karzon to come so they could light the fire. Malon had left to help Mika pick up rocks. Karzon put the sticks down next to Links Pile then walked over to his clothes. He pulled his first shirt over his head as Malon spotted him. He glanced at her before bending down to pick up his pants.

He slipped his pants on. He went to pick up another shit when Malon handed it to him. She smiled and placed the shirt into his hand. This girl made no sence half the time. How she could go form one person to the next, maybe thats why Karzon felt like he had to be jealous.

"That shirts next right? See last night when I was undressing you, I guess I kind of remember the order your shirts went on. This was the bitch that took the longest to get off. I though you might have died before I managed to pull it off you," Malon said, Mika had heard the glimpse of the conversation as she walked passed the two on them with arms full of rocks. She stopped dead in her tracks and turned towards Malon and Karzon.

"Thats to much information, That stuff needs to stay in the bedroom," Mika said not knowing that the two of them had just met yesterday evening. She also did not know thats when Karzon got his arm cut off or was thrown out into the mote.

Malon turned bright read and Karzon laughed a little as she slipped on his next shirt. Mika then walked over to Link and tossed the rocks down on the ground. She took a seat then looked back at Malon and Karzon as he just slipped on his chest plate that had the Shika symbol on it.

"Do you hear those two over there? Talking about stripping one another and that some shirts are harder to get off then others," Mika said in such a tone of voice that Link could not help but start laughing. Navi even started laughing. Mika was really one of a kind and her accent even made it more funnier.

"They are talking about undressing each other?" Link asked finding it a bit hard to believe that Malon would bring up a topic like that. Mika nodded. Then pulled her hair out of her hair tai. Her hair then fell over her shoulders. Mika looked really pretty when her hair was down and blowing softly in the wind. "That stuff should be kept where ever they undressed each other."

"Thats what I mean keep it in the bedroom," Mika said then blinked at what Link just said. "What do you mean, anywhere they undressed each other? Your telling me that you've undressed someone besides in a room?"

"NO COMMENT!" Link said as his whole face turned dark red. Mika then was the one who started laughing. What a lovely night time conversation they were getting their selves in to. Mika pulled out a piece of grass as the sun slowly disappeared, leading them into the darkness of night.

"It was Zelda huh? Come on tell em I wont tell anyone!" Mika said as she threw the piece of Grass and Link. It landed on his lap. He started laughing again as she started to stack the sticks so they could light the fire.

"Why do you want to know?" Link asked as he placed the rocks around the sticks. Mika shrugged her shoulders as she looked back and Malon and Karzon who were now walking towards them. She then pulled her hair back up and helped link put the rocks up.

"Well I've never heard of anyone having Sex besides in a bedroom, or any room in that matter of a fact," Mika said and Link shook his head in disbelief. Ever sence that faithful day a few mounts ago, Zelda and Link had made a promise not to let sex rule their relationship.

"What?" Malon asked "Now I don't want to know what you two are talking about." Malon said as she took her bow and pointed it at the sticks. Mika and Link backed up as a fire arrow formed on Malons blow. She shot it off and almost at once they had a little bon fire going on.

"All right Mika you want to know?" Link asked as he shook his finger towards Mika. Then a huge grin come on his face. "It as on top of the castle, you know the roof, whats worse then falling off your bed butt naked, falling off the top off the castle butt naked."

"You lie!" Mika yelled pulling up some more grass and throwing it at Link again. She did find it quite finny though, just to imagine some one falling off a roof bear butt. Then there was always that fact that they would not survive the fall. So who ever had to come the clean up the body, would either have a hard time or a very enjoyable time.

"No it's not a lie, it's a little story I came up with," Link said and Karzon took a seat. Did he dare get into this conversation? He smiled, might as well he did not wanted to become more of the loser then he already though he was.

"So what is this, Campfire story time, on the many weird places you could have sex?" Karzon asked as he threw a left over stick into the fire. Mika smiled sheepishly then looked over at Link. She was having to much fun with these three.

"Well no I was just finding out the place our Hero had slept with the Princess, saying it was not in a room right Link?" Mika asked and Link gasped as if it was a bad thing. He then laid down on his side as he though about Zelda.

"You had sex with Zelda? And when were you going to tell me?" Malon acted surprised even though she could have cared less about Links sex life. Navi just went back into Links hat not wanting to get into this conversation. She though she just take a early nap.

"Okay you got me! I confess I spelt with Zelda! So shoot me!" Link said as he put his arms up in the air. Malon then pointed her bow at link. "Hey! Not really!"

"I'm not going to shoot you don't worry," Malon said, Before Mika went to sleep herself she had to just get a few more laughs out of this. She was taking advantage of being happy and laughing. She had gone so long with out laugher it was killing her. So even if it was not on the most friendliest topic, she just needed to laugh.

"So do you recommend the Royal type to everyone Link?" Mika asked and Link shrugged his shoulders. He sat back up and took off his hat. He laid it on the ground so he would not brother Navi. He then smiled.

"I guess, I never had sex with anyone else, but you all stay away from Zelda, she's mine got it," Link said and they all started laughing. "What about you guys? What types of people do you recommend?"

"Well see Link, unlike you I've never had sex before, guess I can't get into this topic," Malon said and Mika looked at Malon. Then she looked at Karzon. She could have sworn those tow were a couple. Mika then laid back slightly.

"Strange I though you two had hit the sack together," Mika said and Malon gasped as she looked at Karzon. She then hugged his arm.

"No we do more then have sex Mika!" Malon joked and Karzon blushed. Mika laughed as she fell back all the way on to the grass. Malon then let go of Karzon and hit him lightly on his arm. Though he could not feel it because it was his right arm she had hit.

"Well I think men are the best," Mika said closing her eyes to the only person she had committed herself to. "I simply can't see why men are not all gay! Men are the greatest!" Mika yelled in a laughed, Link and Karzon shook their head no. They did not swing that way. At least one woman enjoyed the company of a man.

"Well if we were all gay Mika then there would be no men left for you, And I can see you must have had great fun with your partner," Karzon said and Mika nodded her head slightly. She sat back up and looked in the fire she sighed.

"He was simply the greatest guy I ever found in my life. He was perfect, believe it if you want but I only slept with him a few times. I loved him so much," Mika said then she smiled a little. Thinking about Jonny made her sink into the whole of depression. "Don't worry I'm not a sex crazed woman, I'm not going to hit on either one of you boys, don't be to surprise if I don't even touch you. And any ways, Karzon you seem to into Malon right there and I would not want to get in the way of the roof top adventures staring Link and Princess Zelda."

"Hey I never had sex on a roof okay! to sacred I'd fall off, or she'd fall off. Gezze, you seamed to love this, mystery man of your a lot Mika," Link said and hoped Mika still had contact with who ever she was talking about. Because Link was feeling like she was feeling now, he was scared and worried, though he joked around about sex, he loved Zelda. and like he told her, he would never take advantage of her. They, just wanted to try it out and he wound up getting her pregnant.

"He was...the perfect guy I ever met...we were going to have a baby together-" Mika stopped and covered her mouth. She had said to much, why did she have to bring that up at a time like this. She could not laugh anymore. All she wanted to do was cry. Jonny's image flashed threw her mind. She got to her feet and shook her head. "Forgot what I just said!"

"Mika whats the matter?" Link asked and Mika let out a soft yelp before running a few feet away from them. She stood there breathing hard. She could not let them see her cry or attempt to cry. She just took in a deep breath and said.

"Don't question me! Don't ask me questions! I don't want to talk about that! Nor will I ever want to talk about it so stop asking me questions!" Mika yelled before running off towards the shore of the lake. She sat down and looked at her refection hardly seeing it in the dim moon light. Finally after two years of playing tuff and bad girls she finally got the tears out that should have came out years ago. When Jonny left her.

"You guys....Taff said Mika hated the Gerudos, Mika said to us she did not like them. I'm worried about her. When Taff pointed out the scare she seamed horried find about the fact. Then just now she said something about a baby. Do you think...that the reasons why she hates the Gerudos, and has that scare is because...they killed her baby?" Malon asked as she put her hand to her stomach. She felt a little sick right now with worry. Though she had met Mika that day she felt as if she was great friends with her, like she felt towards Karzon.

Link then turned an looked and Mika sitting by the lake. If Malons guess was right, or even a little right and Mika lost her baby. Link took in a deep breath. He would soon feel like here, there was no way he could gather all the pieces of the staff in time to save his baby. And he was going to do as Taff said, he was just getting the staff to save Impa and Zelda. But every time he though about that it made him feel like dirt.

"She's not alone then Malon...." Link said and that comment left Malon and Karzon with a hundred more questions.
