Mayu placed her hands on her knees as she bent down to catch her breath. Kyofu had stopped to admire the old houses. "I can't believe we found this!" Kyofu said as smile appeared across his face.

"Why are you so happy about finding a old abandoned village?" Mayu asked walking up to her brother

"This is the same village we're talking about in school! I'm doing a report on it and I'm gonna take notes about this! I'm sure to get an A+ on this!" Kyofu explained

"If this place is abandoned then who is that?" Mayu asked pointing to someone walking into one of the houses.

"Hmmm… might be a person who lives close by here and walks around in this place just for the hell of it!" Kyofu replied. A smile then came to his face, "Maybe they might know a bit about this place!" He said walking in to the village.

Mayu looked at Kyofu. "FINE YOU DO THAT!! I'LL STAND RIGHT HERE AND WAIT FOR YOU!!" She shouted as she stomped her foot. Mayu looked around herself and shouted. "I STILL THINK THIS IS JUST LIKE IN THOSE HORROR MOVIES WHEN THE MALE DOES SOMETHING VERY STUPID!!!" As soon as she finished her sentence, she ran down the small hill to her brother.

Kyofu stopped and took Mayu's hand. "Come on." He said

Kyofu and Mayu walked down into the village in total silence. "She went into this house!" Kyofu said pointing to the house.

Mayu hid behind Kyofu as he opened the door. CREEEEAAAKKKK! Went the door as it opened.

Kyofu looked around the house. "HELLOO!" He shouted, "Anyone here?" He asked

Silence.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!"

The scream broke the silence. Mayu jumped and grabbed Kyofu. "What was that?" She asked

"I don't know!" Kyofu said looking around the room rapidly.

"NOOOO!! STAY AWAY! AHHHHHHHHHHH!!"

Mayu was panicked struck. Silence… Mayu and Kyofu looked around the room. "Kyofu… I'm scared." Mayu whispered

"Shh…" Kyofu replied

Mayu tightened her grip on Kyofu's hand. "I wanna go home now!" She said

"Good idea!" Kyofu said as he took Mayu's hand and lead her to the door.

Kyofu grabbed the small panel that would open the door, he struggled to open the door, and he shook the panel as hard as he could, but nothing happened! "Come on you damn thing… open!!" He shouted

"Stop scaring me!" Mayu said in a broken voice.

"I'm not doing this on purpose Mayu!!" Kyofu said as he dropped his hands.

Mayu watched Kyou back up then ram himself into the door opening it. Mayu and Kyofu gaped in horror. It was nighttime already outside.

"What the hell?!?!" Kyofu said walking out into the village.

Kyofu was in horror. It was morning one minute ago then it was nighttime! What the hell is going on here? He thought

"NO! STAY AWAY!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!" Came a scream

Kyofu turned around to she a girl in white kimono with butterflies on it run by. A man was chasing the girl with a spear in his hand. Kyofu watched in horror as the man threw the spear at the girl, only for her to duck and have the point of the spear fly over her. Then they vanished…

"What was that Kyofu?" Mayu asked walking up to Kyofu

"I don't know." He said

"THIS WAY I HEARD VOICES!!" Came a shout

Kyofu panicked. "In the house get in there now!" He said shoving Mayu in the house then running and then closing the door. The sound of sandals running by the door echoed in the house. Silence filled the house again.

"Kyofu look!" Mayu said pointing to a girl.

Kyofu watched the girl walk into the hallway, open a door, and walk into it. Kyofu stood up. "Maybe she can help us!" He said walking up to the door and opening it. No one was in there. Kyofu then spotted an old desk with papers scattered across the desk. Kyofu walked up to the desk. "Time for some research!" He said
