The night's shadow hides it,
A mysterious figure,
A child's scream echoes,
Echoes.
A woman's sobs ring out
A man's whimpers slither beneath a closed door
A child's heartbeat is no more
No more
The rain pelts down
A casket is lowered.
Still the night covers him
The mysterious figure.
