A single day passed and there was no sign of Kyle or Terra, who was supposed to be released today. The big hole in the tower remained there still. Nobody bothered trying to fix it, they were to busy waiting for Terra to arrive at the tower.
"If he does not keep his end of the deal, I'll find him." Said Robin balled his hand into a fist. Robin had been very tense for the past month. Kyle was a villain that they could not take out in a week. They had yet to get him and that is what put Robin on edge. Starfire was partolling the city when she saw Kyle standing infront of the very shop he had first killed in. Starfire dropped down to him. Beast Boy had been there already, acting as a crow. Kyle smirked as he held Terra's body on his shoulder. He had knocked her out before he came to the spot. Soon enough Raven, Robin, and Cyborg arrived.
"Nice of all of you to show up! Now you all remember your little friend Tri-Gon? Raven's father? Well lets just say...I'm the second portal!" Laughed Kyle as he threw Terra over to Robin, who caught her. "I'm going to activate the portal, tonight!" Kyle laughed wildy as Cyborg and Starfire attacked Kyle. He took the hit and went flying back into the shop. It crumbled and Kyle busted out of the rubble.
"I was going to make that a special monument! GRR...." He growled and sent a white beam of light out of his sword and into the titans. He smirked as he leaped into the air and kicked Robin backwards. He then kicked Cyborg in the side of the head. Raven charged at Kyle but he held out a detonator. Raven looked behind her on a building and there was a bomb attatched on it. Raven tried to flee but Kyle quickly pushed the button on the detonator and it blew up, sending Raven crashing through buildings. He looked over to Starfire as she recovered from his sword beam attack. He quickly went behind her and threw her backwards into the ground. Beast Boy transformed into a t-rex and tried to attack Kyle but the attack was blocked with Kyle's sword. Kyle grinned as he sent another beam sword attack into Beast Boy. The t-rex turned back into regular Beast Boy as he hit the ground.
"Hahaha! Didn't you notice I was lying about the portal thing?! Your to gullible! Your-" Kyle was hit by a giant rock and sent into the air where thirty regular rocks pelted him, making him bleed from the face and his hands. The bulletproof vest slightly protected him but it was torn. He fell to the ground and held his hands which were bleeding rapidly but he still held onto his sword.Terra stood there twirling a few rocks in the air with her powers.
"I..will not..give up!!" Yelled Kyle as he jumped up at Terra but she sent another giant rock into him, breaking his ribs. He hit the ground and was stunned. He couldn't move or he would feel much pain. He sat there as Terra walked over to him and laughed at him.
"You snuck up on me when you captured me but now who's down on the ground now, huh?" Said Terra. Kyle winced as he tried to kept up but a foot slammed him down. It was Robin's foot and he looked angry. Robin couldn't hold his anger in anymore. He quickly kicked Kyle sideways in the chest. Cyborg got up and picked Kyle up. He then slammed Kyle into a building. A barrier came and pulled Cyborg back. Raven had created that barrier.
"Your going to kill him! Stop it!" Yelled Raven.
"He killed to many innocent people to stay alive!" Yelled Cyborg but he couldn't break Raven's barrier.
"But he is still a living person and we don't kill people, we save them." Said Robin wiping dust off of himself. Kyle fell forward out of the side of the building that Cyborg had slammed him through and hit the ground on his ribs. He groaned as his broken ribs hit the ground. He winced and continued to wince. Starfire got up and walked over to Kyle.
"What shall we do with this villain?" Asked Starfire.
"What we always do. Send him to a special jail." Said Robin. Kyle slowly started to push himself up.
"No....I ....will.....not go to a jail!" Yelled Kyle as he got enough strength and stood up. He wobbled and fell to a knee. His sword sat on the ground beside him. He reached for it but Terra kicked his hand away. Tears started to fall from his eyes as he continued to reach for the sword but continually got kicked by Terra.
"Let me die with some honor." Said Kyle plainly, keeping his head down.
"No! We won't kill anyone!" Yelled Robin as he kicked Kyle in the chest, sending him back into the building wall. "He can't go to jail anyways, he has too many wounds, they would eat him alive in there. He needs emergency medical attention. We'll bring him to the medical bay in the tower." Robin reached in and pulled Kyle out. Raven used her barrier ability to bring everybody back to the tower where Robin put Kyle in the medical bay. On the medical bay computer, it had Kyle's pulse on it. Tubes ran down his throat to help him breath. Kyle was thinking in his mind about the battle and kept replaying it in his mind.
The Teen Titans celebrated that night with cake and pop and Starfire's special glorg food. All was well. Or was it?
Of course not! The title says "The New Teen Titan" And there has been no new teen titan yet! Find out who is the new teen titan in chapter 3!
