Chap 4.The sad angel

My real name is Kairi, but the gods named me the Sad angel, because of this…

The first years of my life were wonderful, I loved my parents dearly and I couldn't wish anything more; until a horrible day, which I will always remember.

Dawn goes to night

A windy, gloomy day, when all of the kids are home watching TV or playing, I was running trying to catch up with my Dad who was running from the rain. ”Papa, slow down please” I remember saying but he wouldn't listen. “Dad I don't feel well” I yelled

I'm screaming,why I'm ignored?

And suddenly I started coughing a lot and feeling so weak, then I notice that crimson drops had stain my shirt “Dad” I gasped and then everything went black.

What has happened to me?

The next thing I knew, I was in a white room surrounded by people in white robes “what's going on?” I whispered, and I felt really bad just saying this…

I'm hurt, other me

I felt as if they put fire in my lungs, I groaned in pain, then a doctor came closer to me and said “ My child, you have a disease” he said to me sadly

“And I will be ok soon right?” I asked him naively

“I'm afraid not; this disease is really strange and highly contagious, and there is no cure for it… I'm so sorry… My child” and then he leaved

I feel so empty

The next year was miserable… doctors came in and out my room, doing blood test, needles and more needles, I was sick and tired, I couldn't stand it anymore.

Feeling all wrong

Then the coughing got worse… then one day I felled asleep; forever.

Night goes to dawn

Then I woke up again but this time I was in a totally black room and a spotlight was over me “where I am?” I yelled. And a tender voice answered me “you're in heaven”

Is this my fate?

“Heaven? But this doesn't look like heaven?” I started crying “well, I have to test you first… you my child have become the Sad Angel” suddenly I saw two wings appear from my back and a white robe covered my small body.

What have I become?

“And now you should go and find your partners that will go with you to heaven once you are all together as The Sad Angels”

You smile at what he said

And that is how I started my journey and I meet my partners,

Suzaku, the fire angel

Ohkami, the revenge angel

Seryiuu, the death angel

And we all live happily in the middle world; this is the name of the black room I was when I died…

your love still alive

here we hear all the gods' stories and actually I got what I always wanted… love, I got two brothers and a sister; and a lot of parents in this world so I couldn't be happier.

I already got used to my brothers attitude,

Suzaku is a really cherish person and whenever I'm sad she can tell a funny joke and make you laugh no matter what.

Ohkami is a bit more serious but he is really kind and timid and he likes to play with me hide and seek, but he always finds me.

Seryiuu is the most shy and silent of all, he talks softly and makes you think of whatever he says, he is mostly teaching us a lesson and he meditates a lot, even so I like him a lot.

I think I'm the only one that can make him smile, since one time he was all sad and I came closer and hug him and said to him “ whenever you're sad, nobody in the world can be really happy” and he smiled.

So my angels are really different from each other, but either way I love them dearly because they have become my family. Suddenly the gods called us

Shining bright

“The Ashes Angel, is your next and last partner, but be careful, because this angel is refusing to die… and is a unique person… so be careful, my Sad Angels” they warned us, and so then we did our journey to meet her, our final partner.
