The Stealth Avenger

Avenging Angel of the Night

Our story begins on a quiet Monday morning in Sauk Village, Illinois. Most the kids are heading to school, and their parents to work. However there is one high school boy named Hibiki Tokai lazily sleeping in bed. He's a Japanese transfer student from Tokyo, that moved to this country 3 years ago and he very often plays hooky choosing to work on his bike when he should be at school. After about an hour after class starts Hibiki finally wakes up and gets dressed. He sits down to some breakfast and then decides to work on his bike.

It is a warm day as Hibiki sits in front of his apartment complex doing a few tweaks on his motor bike. Having no shirt on he catches the eye of quite a few passing young women, a couple of them even stop and chat with him for a while leaving their phone numbers and addresses when they depart. At 6'4" and 175 lbs. Hibiki is pretty good looking, working out on a regular basis. He takes pride in his fitness making sure to keep in shape. The same goes for his bike keeping it in tiptop running order at all times. After a couple hours of work Hibiki is just finishing up when his favorite police officer decides to pay him a visit. His patrol car pulls up behind Hibiki's bike and he gets out putting his hat on and walking over to Hibiki. Looking down at him he watches and says.

"Lieutenant Krane: Playing hooky again are we Tokai?"

Hibiki looks up raising a, grease covered hand to block the sun, seeing Krane he returns to the job at hand. After he is done Hibiki stands up removing a rag from his pocket saying in response.

"Hibiki Tokai: Why if it isn't my favorite pig, what's the matter Krane couldn't find anyone else to pester? Or any whores to suck your micro prick?"

As the officer looks at Hibiki he starts tapping on his bike with his nightstick. Hibiki sees this and has to restrain him self, from beating the shit out of this pig for even touching his wheels. Lieutenant Krane knows exactly what he is doing and what Hibiki is thinking and grins.

"Lieutenant Krane: that's funny Tokai, real funny, I hate to disappoint you but you're wrong about one thing. That being the whore, I had your mother last night. Oh and she told me to tell you she's is really disappointed in you."

Krane laughs at the look on Hibiki's face after that one. But rather than follow through with what he wants to do, Hibiki simply gets on his bike starting it up. After revving the engine and letting it idle for a bit, Hibiki smokes the tires and takes off leaving a long stretch of rubber on the pavement. Hibiki gets a few miles down the road when he hears a police siren, checking his mirror he sees Lieutenant Krane coming up fast behind him. Rolling his eyes Hibiki speeds up and breaks away from Krane putting several miles distance between him self and Lieutenant Krane. The pig does not give up how ever continuing to give chase.

The chase goes on for hours from one part of Sauk Village to the other. Finally Hibiki grows tired of this and puts on the breaks spinning around and picking up a long length of pipe, he then again burns out speeding towards Krane. From time to time he lets the pipe hit the ground sending a shower of sparks behind him. He then moved the bike in the path of the car starting a game of chicken. Krane sees what Hibiki is doing flooring the accelerator determined that he will not be the chicken here. As the two speeds towards each other, Hibiki raises the pipe preparing to strike, sunlight being reflected off the pipe.

They get closer and closer neither one wavering one bit. Suddenly Hibiki lowers the pipe into the sun reflecting the light into Krane's eyes causing the cop to swerve. Laughing as he speeds by Hibiki drops the pipe and speeds away. When he is sure Krane can't see him he presses a hidden button on his left control and the bike cloaks, making him and the bike invisible, unknown to Hibiki however half a block away at a nearby supermarket. A young man, who is also playing hooky from school, comes out and sees Hibiki and his bike cloak.

Hibiki takes off again heading for the auto parts store. A few days ago he put in an order for some special pars, now he is going to see if they are in, after parking and securing his bike, Hibiki walks in and goes up to the counter. As he stands at the counter a sails clerk names Jim comes out of the store room and smiles.

"Jim: Hey Tokai how's it going?"

"Hibiki Tokai: Pretty good, just had another visit from Lieutenant Pain in the butt Krane. Hay, are those parts I ordered the other day in?"

Jim looks it up in the computer, and after a few minutes he nods.

"Jim: Yup looks like they are all in. Your total, is $2,557.82, are you paying with cash or credit?"

"Hibiki Tokai: Cash always cash my friend."

Hibiki takes out his wallet and puts a huge wad of cash on the counter. Jim takes the cash and counts it out, he then rings it up giving Hibiki a receipt. Then he goes into the back room and comes back two minutes later with a box containing three high performance motorcycle parts, setting them out on the counter. Hibiki looks them over and then has Jim wrap them up and takes them. He thanks Jim and leaves putting the box in the saddlebags on his bile. Getting on the bike, Hibiki starts it up and takes off riding around for a while.

After a few hours of just riding around Hibiki returns to his home, and drops off the parts he purchased. He then grabs a loose fitting t- shirt and leaves again deciding to buy a couple new movies. He heads over to the mall and his favorite store for horror movies; The Slaughterhouse owned and ran by Andy a strange antisocial and quiet man. Hibiki is his best customer always spending lots of money in his store. Hibiki pulls into the mall parking lot and secures his bike. After throwing on the shirt he picked up he enters the mall having to go through the metal detectors that are at each entrance. After passing though he walks around making his way to the shop, a few people passing by and giving him some disgusted looks as he enters the shop. He never understood what people have against Andy's shop but he just shrugs it off and proceeds to brows around.

"Andy: Hey Tokai, how's my best customer doing?"

Andy waves as he greets Hibiki and watches him browsing around the shop. He then points to a display that's near the counter.

"Andy: Hey have you seen the new Punisher movie? It's on DVD now and I just got it in today if you're interested."

Hibiki looks at the display and thinks then shakes his head

"Hibiki: No I haven't but I heard it was pretty good."

Hibiki then looks around finding several movies that he likes, then comes to the one section of Andy's shop that makes him shudder and he usualy shies away from it. This time how ever he looks around at a couple of the videos doing his best to control his urge to take out a hidden dagger that he has, as he reads the descriptions of the movies that contain children being beaten and/or killed by abusive parents. Andy watches him and then remembers of another series he just got in.

"Andy: Hey Tokai, I don't know if you would be interested in this series but I also got a new reality-based series in called Traces of Death. It seems to be pretty popular if you want to take a look."

Hibiki puts the video back that he was looking at and walks over to the counter to check out this new series Andy just mentioned. He looks at the back of the back of the first volume trying to decide weather he should give it a try. He then looks up at Andy as he puts down the box.

"Hibiki: Does it contain any children being beaten or killed; if it does then I don't think I will be getting it. You know I'm not into that kind of stuff."

"Andy: I believe the volume II does, and yes I know you don't like this stuff I can't say I'm too fond of it either but apparently there are a few people out there that like it. All I can say is I will stock it while it brings in the profit."

Hibiki looks at him through silted eyes, several things he could say going through his mind. He then mumbles under his breath

"Hibiki: If I had it my way people that like that stuff would get theirs I can guarantee!"

Andy looks at him hearing what he just said; he then remembers the morning news regarding The Stealth Avenger.

"Andy: Excuse me Tokai, but I didn't quite catch that what did you just say?"

"Hibiki: It was nothing just saying how I think all the people that like that kind of sick stuff should be thrown in jail, and how this trash should be burned."

Andy keeps an eye on Hibiki as he continues to shop around looking at some of the Child's Play movies he hasn't seen yet. Then taking something out from behind the counter he offers a product that he knows Hibiki has been watching for.

"Andy: Hey Tokai, the Friday the 13th box set just came in today. Should I ring it up for you while you look around?"

"Hibiki: Yea thanks, I have been wondering when that would hit the market."

Andy nods and rings it up and after a few minutes Hibiki brings a couple of other choice movies to be ringed up as well. When he sees the total Hibiki gives the money to Andy and after getting his things he leaves the shop. As Hibiki leaves the shop at the last minute Andy sees something on the back of his neck just below the hairline. What he sees is a small Japanese symbol, the symbol of a very well known Ninja Training school. The same school that he him self trained at a few years back when he was in Japan. He says nothing thou as Hibiki leaves the shop and the mall. Time passes quickly and eventually closing time arrives. After Andy gets his shop closed up tight he goes into the back where he calls home and takes on is alter-ego of an ace ninja assassin. He sits down at a small table he has set up with several news paper clippings and hand written notes he has taken down from the various news reports and things he has heard over the police band from his scanner and starts researching all the past victims of The Stealth Avenger, trying to figure out if there is a set pattern to The Stealth Avengers attacks or if they are just at random.

After several hours of research Andrew finds a very well hidden set pattern in The Stealth Avengers movements and plans accordingly. He leaves the mall later that night to start his first night of stalking his prey following the stealth avenger as he silently curses around keeping tabs on all his past victims. Using his ability to detect the Stealth Avenger's aura he quickly finds him coasting around in a near by neighborhood around the area where his first victim is located. He catches up with the Stealth Avenger as he is sitting outside the house of the first victim just sitting there on his bike watching the house. He isn't doing anything but watching for now and after a few minutes he moves on to the next location. Andrew continues to follow him around to each location memorizing the rout and how long the Stealth Avenger stays at each location.

At the end of the night he follows the Stealth Avenger to what would he his base of operation. Keeping out of site he watches the Avenger enter and then moments later Tokai exits making sure no one saw him as he leaves. This confirms what Andrew thought when Tokai was at his shop during the day. Andrew goes back home with this new information and makes plans for the following nights to come. The next day it's slow as always as Andy's Slaughterhouse. Time creeps along till it gets to around noon; Andy decides to close up early and once again taking up his assassin alter-ego he heads out in search of Hibiki Tokai. After searching every hang out he can think of, finally finds him in school of all places. It's one of the rare days that he chose to attend class not that he pays attention. Andy sits quietly in a tree behind a batch of leaves on the limb, watching Tokai though a window sitting there in the back of the class room making out with a girl that Andy can only guess is his girlfriend. As he sits there with his arms around her and one hand under her skirt, it's easy to see that these two are pretty deeply in love with each other. She would kind of smack his hand away from time to time as he tried to slide it into her panties, despite Tokai's short comings like playing hooky from school all the time, and playing Mr. Tough guy trying to intimidate everyone that looks at him or her the wrong way, this girl appears to be totally in love with him.

Andy sits there watching and a small grin appears on his face as he believes he has found a weakness in the Stealth Avengers impregnable armor. He makes a plan to kidnap this girl if he has to and use her eventually to get the Stealth Avenger to drop his guard. After School lets out for the day Tokai and his girlfriend both get on his bike putting on their helmets and take off heading for who knows where. Andy follows for a short while in the tree tops till Tokai gets on the highway and then he heads back to his shop/home to further plan his actions. Knowing Tokai has a girlfriend opens some new doors to possibilities for him to exploit and take advantage of several possible weaknesses. Andy laughs as he plots his actions for later that night when he will start killing each of the Stealth Avengers past victims and try to get the police on his trail.
