"Now, the dragon commanded, "Place your hand on my head and repeat what I say."
Ian dare not disobey. This dragon was certainly intimidating. Its jet-black scales sparkled slighly in the dim light and seemed to radiate a mysterious glow of their own, causing the walls to shimmer. Its indigo eyes glinted with a furiocity that Ian had never experienced before. Sharp spikes ran down the dragon's neck and back, then went down the tail, gradually getting smaller. Huge wings protuded from near the shoulders, and were twice as wide as the dragon itself was long.
"Need I repeat myself?" The dragon questioned. "For I would like to get this over with."
"No. I am ready." Ian touched the dragon's head and immediately knew what it wanted him to say. "Majitara, cando spottar nansa sharpin lampeer. Shokken bamir fliot boxon shintuga ontir woton casir." Saying it in the elven language should prove most satisfactory for the dragon. For it is nearly impossible to lie in the ancient elven language.
"You have proven that you are most trustworthy, master elf. You may ride on my back to reach the stone."
Ian climbed onto the dragon's back, and they took off. When they reached the stone, it began to glow.
"Young elf, you are the true master of the stones. It is my duty to accompany you on your quest to gather the stones. Together, we must gather all of the stones of Laharia, or you are all doomed. During this journey, you must find your friends and gather the stones or you will become a premanent part of the game. If you perish in battle, you will never get back to your homes. All the pain you experience in this 'game' is real. Your friends are depending on you. And all of Laharia. Do not fail us all."
"I won't fail them. I can't." Ian grabbed the stone and felt the immense power of the stone of Ice-Fire surging through him. His whole self was freezing and burning all at once. "Let's go! I have to find Erin and Jaymie!"

Sorry, short chapter. I'll update soon! This chapter holds the first words of my own language. They merely mean "Dragon, I will not harm you. Aid me on my quest to find my friends."
