Well, I, Ayame-chan, decided to rewrite this fic. Celestial Senshi's chapters are still here, but since she hasn't given me back the notebook, I'm kinda going to go on my own from here ^^. Anyhoo, this is a new and rewritten version of Threads of Fate and hope you enjoy!

There was a time when the world was at chaos: Hyne's Heaven against Morcadia's Hell.

The evil and legendary Orion was sealed away through Hyne's powers, but...

Orion had to be kept sealed.

So two amulets were made, once whole, to keep the evil away.

But one has been captured,

and one girl is put in charge to stop Orion from rising again and saving her captured angel.

If only things were that easy....

DISCLAIMERS: You are NOT allowed to use these characters without permission! We made them up, so they're ours! There will be some hints to Final Fantasy (since it's just awesome as it is...), so you have been warned. Oh yeah, the title is not ours: it's from a Squaresoft game called Threads of Fate, but this title matched our idea perfectly!

MAIN CHARACTERS:

Rydia ~ The heroine of the story; she's a sorceress/summoner

Magic: High levels in all fields, but main specialty is fire

Age: 16

Weapon: Daggers

Sakana ~ A sky faerie who has lived alone ever since she was born. Meets Rydia on her way and joins her

Magic: advanced Sky (similar to lightning)

Age: 22

Weapon: None

Kentarou ~ A skilled bandit who runs into Rydia during a stealing spree.

Magic: basic Earth and advanced Sky

Age: 21

Weapon: 2 Katanas

Shion ~ Kentarou's best friend who supposedly died a long time ago.

Magic: limited in water

Age: 21

Weapon: Kodaichi

Phoenix ~ A martial artist runaway with a past she dares not to remember.

Magic: None

Age: 19

Weapon: Fists

Daisuke ~ A child genius/inventor.

Magic: limited in Mind

Age: 12

Weapon: Magic Gun (shoots magic out instead of bullets)

Ayla ~ A famous singing mermaid who knows the entrance to Leviathan's cave.

Magic: advanced in Water

Age: supposedly 23, but looks younger

Weapon: Harp

Schala ~ An angel who was kidnapped by the evil forces because of being an owner of a mystical amulet.

Magic: Highly advanced in all fields, her specialty being White magic

Age: 625 (but looks like she's 20 or so)

Weapon: Chain Whip

Raiden ~ A fallen angel who teams up with the forces of Morcadia (hell). He is in search for revenge of his wife.

Magic: Advanced in Fire, Sky, and Holy magic

Age: 630 (but looks around mid to late 20s)

Weapon: Fists (or rather, claws ^^)

Yoshimitsu ~ A heartless dampire (half vampire, half human) whose eyes can freeze any demon's blood cold.

Magic: Highly advanced in Mind magic, slightly advanced in all other fields

Age: ???

Weapon: Murasame (a bloodsword)

Aiko ~ One of the remaining summoners in the entire world of Gaia. She looks up to Rydia as a second mother.

Magic: intermediate in all fields, highly advanced in Mind magic

Age: 6

Weapon: Flute

Ayame-chan: Those are just some of the major characters that appear in this fic.

Celestial Senshi: We don't want to give too much away soo....
