The Truth About Nova-chan and Kimi-san!!

The point : When people see Kimi-san and Nova-chan in fics of all types they think that Kimi-san is the more powerful and smart one..... I'm here to clear the earlier misconceptions and show the other side to everything!!

My name is Kimi. Kimi Suki specifically. No middle name. And my partner now forever.... calls me Kimi-san-chan or whatnot.. the blonde..

I am a Ta-jin.. I had left Ta-sei such a long time ago and boarded this training ship.. had heard no word from Ta-sei........... I suspected.... that I may very well be the last of the Ta-jin. I eventually played myself into believing this.

I was training to be a trainer. All my students were a bore. No challenge for their teacher and all of them I found ways to dump on other trainers.

It was one night (as it always is night in space) that I was watching my own reflection in the portal that my master called for me. My chestnut flat hair hit the portal as I turned swiftly to him. "You have a new student."

With slumped shoulders I walked into the waiting room for trainees. When I opened the solid steel door, before me appeared a short (5'2.. short compared to me) girl with a body a bit more petite than my own and golden hair only an inch above her shoulders. I only remember now the sudden flash of her big blue eyes as she ran into the door I had propped open and sent me tumbling head first on the steel floor.

I awoke in the nurse's quarters. ... That BLONDE. "Oh, Kimi-san I'm so sorry!! There was this SPIDER! And.. the wall.. the LEGS!! So many LEGS!! It was horrifying.. GOMEN KIMI-SAN!!"

Surprising myself I coughed up a little blood. "I'd prefer mistress Kimi...."

My master appeared beside HER. "Actually.. you'll be calling her Nova-sama and she can call you whatever she likes. She's a princess."

"Lemme see if I understand you.. SHE is princess of the Ta-jin and I have to call her Nova-SAMA?" I shook my head as he nodded his.

I looked over at the blonde angrily..She was COUNTING the stars outside the portal. According to the master trainer, she was indeed a princess of my own race and had wondered off somehow on her own without any bodyguard. She also spoke Japanese as a second language and had become rather accustomed to it. Every now and when she spoke I'd have to get her to repeat herself in ENGLISH!

"You will be her new trainer/bodyguard from now on until a replacement is found from your home planet." the last words I ever wanted to hear.......

"Nova-SAMA.. this is the training room." I gave her a moment to "oo" and "ah" which she didn't do but instead looked at me blankly.

I growled. "First we'll stretch, okay?"

"If you like Kimi-san.. you can call me Nova-chan.." Big stars entered her eyes. "It suits me so much better.. no WAIT!! Nova-chan-sama!!"

"Nova-chan... Just STRETCH YOUR LEGS!!" I heard something slip from her mouth.. something like "spaz." Doesn't matter..

Well everything was going okay so far.. she was stretching but then came the complaining. "Kimi-san I'm hungry! Isn't there any chicken or something or chocolate or .. something sweet? My legs hurt.. I don't like strecthing, Kimi-san it's boring!"

"Grrrrr...no food!! And no more stretching..!" I hit her lightly upside the head before she could think and she burst into tears. "Kimi-san.. that was awfully mean" she whimpered..

"Hmph.. okay.. maybe it was mean.... I'll let you have a free shot at me then.." I told her keeping back a snicker. She regained her composure like nothing ever phased her and shot a blast of her own energy at me.

I dodged it right before it hit me.. so ..... fast.. I turned in time to see the blast go through the steel of the ship then through three more doors and finally out the back of the ship! I grabbed her shoulder screaming and led her into the other room and closed it before the vacuum got me.

"SET THE AUTOMATIC RELEASE FOR ROOMS 403 THROUGH 409 NOW!!" I screamed to the nearest person. They immediately took my orders and I turned back to the blonde.

"Ow.. you sure scream loud.." Nova said rubbing her ears.

"What was THAT?" I yelped at her.

"Nani?" She looked at me rather dazed. I didn't understand her but I couldn't help but stomp off any way. It didn't matter what it was. It was a small amount of her strength .. and I certainly wasn't the strongest onboard any more.

Nova-chan, as I would grow to know her, was sharing my quarters for the present time. It wouldn't have been that way had she not blown up half of the ship. "You better be glad no one goes back there until night time!"

"Gomen, Kimi-san.. I didn't TRY to do it..... You know.. you're sure uptight.. anything ELSE wrong?"

I shook my head slowly. "Nothing a ditz could help.." I pointed to a sheet of paper in front of me. "Unlike you I still have schooling.. and this..... THING about polarity is insane.."

She walked over and laughed. "Oh silly Kimi-san!" The blonde took my pencil and erased a few marks and redrew one straight line through the middle of some waves. "At the bottom of the ocean polarity never reverses. The one line was once misinterpreted and humans thought it meant it did.. but you see...... it doesn't!! At least NOT in the ocean."

Dumbfounded I stared at the paper for what seemed hours. "How did you...?" I looked up to see her gone. "I guess... she needed to go to the restroom....."

"She's eaten half our supply of food! Four years worth of it!! FOUR YEARS!!" I heard people shouting outside in the halls.

I had fallen asleep working on some science equation. The blonde was no where in the room.

I ran outside my quarters and ran straight to the mess hall. . . . Literally.. a mess hall..
