Author note: Another of my Alice poems that you love so much.I decided to try a very dark one. Well, Halloween is on its way so I figured it won't hurt. I've got one about the Vile of Tears in the works, too. :)

Fic is/contains: Alice's POV. Some blood, hauntings and violence.

Time To Die!

I listen to the walls creak with moans, soft and deep.
My head spins as the days, months, years go by.
My body seems numb as I sit here, feeling usually hollow.
I gazed out the window and uttered a long sigh.

Why? Why does this have to happen to me? Everything?
My parents and Wonderland both had to go...
I feel as if I'm loosing every little bit of my remaining sanity.
Leaving me with no answers as to why, maybe I'll never know.

I flash back and forth through my two lands.
Not knowing if I exist at all.
I feel my hands beginning to tremble with worry.
I'm ready again, through the rabbit hole I quickly fall.

I greet Cheshire Cat and Rabbit once more.
My friends who stuck by me against the Queen's rage.
They tell me of a Fortress that houses many doors to open.
That I must go there in order to turn time's page.

As I move on my journey, other friends come near.
They offer me advise, help and courage to win.
I face others, too, that hurt me to see and frightful of.
With Blunderbuss at my side, I shoot flames of sin.

Evil falls before me, bowing to their queen Alice?
How respectful of them to show such gratefulness.
I fire again and another goes down on the floor.
I seem so sweet but yet I kill them, pulling away a bit of my kindness.

This is it, I've become wretched.
Yet, I must kill them or I shall surely fall.
Wonderland needs me now more than ever.
That does it, I shall save them and restore all.

So, I fight the cards and those who were once my friends.
On the wings of steam, I take to the skies and fly.
I approach the evil queen even though she'll break me down.
"Vorpal Blade, stay by me! It's time to die!"
