This is a preview chapter on a possible future fic by ryushi, I got the idea after beating kingdom hearts and watching the special movie at the end so some things may look familiar, hope you enjoy this following preview.

The rain poured down in buckets in the city, the road seemed to be nothing but one shallow pool save for occasional rise of black cobblestone. The city itself was a wash of neon lights and a large screen which currently showed only the snowy wall of static. A lone figure walked the streets tonight lightning flashed occasionally giving partial glimpse of part of the figure's face dispite the black hooded jacket he was wearing, The figures face looked slightly pale, his eyes blocked by shadow and long blond bangs. He reaches the center square of the city and freezes mid-step turning slightly to his right as a darkness began to creep towards him blocking out the reflection of the puddles.

 

The darkness began to rise and take an almost humanoid shape; these “shadow creatures” were the darkness, creatures born of fear, hate, and greed. They formed in the hundreds surrounding the lone figure and cutting off any possible exit, however figure seemed to almost give them no concern as they began to slowly advance, glowing empty yellow eyes were the only physical characteristics on them showing no sign of hope. Suddenly on the ground around the figure a flame ignited and began to make a shape on the cobblestone ground, the symbol consisted of three triangles, two on the bottom and one on the top, the symbol of affinity.

 

Once the symbol was created suddenly three pillars erupted from the triangles one was a pillar of fire, one of ice and the third of lightning, the three pillars then shot out into the ranks of the darkness tearing apart any that was in their path and soon vanishing once reaching the edge of the square. The creatures however were undaunted by the sudden decimation of their comrades and a few leaped into the air in an attempt to strike from above. The figure's arm movements were a blur as those that hat leaped were suddenly shredded to pieces. When the figure stood still once again two weapons were in his hands, looking as if they had come from nowhere. The pieces of the darkness that were destroyed faded into thin air as more lunged at the now armed figure.

 

The battle scene was a blur of swinging weapons, slashing of claws and shreds of darkness as the figure moved barely touching the ground as he fought against the seemingly endless horde. The screen suddenly had a picture of a woman inside a transparent red crystal, her eyes were closed her hair was up as if she was falling and her arms were crossed over her chest, the figure took a moment to notice this obvious taunt and fought with a renewed speed. He leapt into the air followed by three darkness, cart wheeling in the air he swung his blades and took down all three in one swing landing evenly on the top stoop of a swanky hotel, the creatures giving chase. The figure looks up to see a man with long black hair sneering down at him, his outfit resembling that of an armored knight glistening from the rain, The figure suddenly leaps into the air and runs straight up the side of the building, blades angled backwards as he picked up speed all around him the darkness was forming trying to block his path.

I know I know I cut you off at a good part, but since this is only a preview chapter I had to make it short, your probably asking who is the cloaked figure?, the woman sealed in the crystal? Who is the guy in armor? and why is this all happening? Well your gonna have to give me your opinions if you want to see what happens next, if I get too many bad ones a chapter will not be created well please send me your reviews and happy reading!.
