“Welcome back my Lord,” Celine said weakly, blood trailing down her lips.
The other generals and even Scion looked petrified as Alex effortlessly sent Zanatos flying. He looked at each one of them, before looking into the eyes of all of his friends. To them, he smiled and nodded gratefully. “Thank you. Thank you for all you have done. I couldn’t have done this without you.”
“Just shut up and go see your woman,” Baou yelled with a chuckle.
“It’s about time,” Rire added, throwing back his hair and shaking his head.
“Don’t forget about us, Mister. Actually, now I can call you my Lord again. Tell your wife hello from me,” Cherish said with a heartwarming grin.
“Of course I will. Once again, all of you, thank you,” Alex said softly, truly meaning what he said. He lowered his head so that his hair would cover the tears that fell from his eyes. Finally, finally he realized that they didn’t hate him or hold him responsible for what he did. While he still felt responsible for their deaths, he no longer had that weight on his heart anymore. Now he could do what he came here to do.
“Brittany,” Alex said softly. He then looked up as an energy began to pulsate around him. “I’m coming.”
The energy that swirled around him, exploded in a flash of light. It dispersed the images of the dead, all of which were smiling with happiness at his success. All, except for a certain group, that is. Alex watched as the white area he was in, began to fade away, and he was again standing before the gates of the Celestial Realm.

Lucia stood before the council. Once again he had come to present his case before them and plead for its cause. “If he does pass, and he does do everything that we ask, will you not consider it?”
“No,” Zemnas plainly stated.
“I still can’t believe you have already turned her into a doll,” Lucia said, shaking his head in disbelief. He was about to say something else when a tremendous surge of power shook the building they were in.
“What in the Hell was that?” Tristan asked, grasping tightly onto his staff.
Lucia’s eyes widened in shock and disbelief as he realized what it was. “How many days has it been since I put Alex before the test?”
“It’s been only seven days,” Shimera said softly.
Lucia smirked and laughed as he turned toward the door. “You’ve got to be kidding me. He did it! That man actually did it!”

“Hey, open up these damn gates!” Alex said as he stood before the gates to the Celestial Realm. He smirked as the gates opened up to allow him entrance. He looked forward, already envisioning Brittany waiting for him. “Brittany, I’m coming for you.”
