I live in the town of Garfield. My name is Jasmine Lockhart and I go to Garfield High. This is my story. I hope that this will be the last time I have to explain. I hope that when you read this you'll understand why I made the choices that I did…

"Hey Jasmine, hurry up or we'll be late on our first day." That's Kira, my best friend. We've been best friends since kindergarten. "I'm coming." We ran to school and got in before the first bell. We walked into homeroom and sat down in the back.

"Jasmine it's just like you to be late on the first day." That's Jeffery, he moved here in the 5th grade.

"So has any one heard from Sierra?" That's 'Yo-tan' also know as Yohji, he's my boyfriend.

"Yeah, she's at Muir part time like us." This is Steven; he's the resident animator and Sierra's on off boyfriend.

"Didn't she stay in her room all summer?" This is Matt; he's an 11th grader and my mentor.

"Yeah and I had to live with her!" This is Omi, Sierra's older brother and one of my best friends.

"So, Jasmine, what classes are you taking?" That's Aaron; he's Kira's boyfriend and Matt's best friend.

"Umm…lets see I've got Geometry, AP World History, Chem. English, drama, violin and journalism." I said with a smile.

"That's cool, well the teacher should be here soon." This is Monica she's with Matt.

Just at that moment the teacher walked in. "My name is Crawford and I'm your teacher for the year."
