Rana's eyes fluttered open as she felt water run up against her leg. She brought a hand to her head as the thoughts of what happen came to mind. She lay there staring at the dark spotted sky.

"Did I really see him?" she said aloud to herself.

She gripped the doughnut sized charm on her necklace. It was a blue heart with a gray 'R' in the middle. Riku had given it to her on her tenth birthday saying how when he found it, he thought of her.

She stood up and began walking away from the beach.

"Hello!"

She stopped suddenly and turned around to see a huge wooden ship coming onto shore. It slowly made its way and stopped on the sand. A tall man dressed in a red coat and white feathered hat jumped onto shore and walked towards Rana.

"Why, hello there fair lady. I be Captain Hook. Do ye mind if we keep our ship here tonight?"

"Nice to meet you. I am Rana. And I don't think it would serve a problem."

Thank you very much." He took his hat off and bowed to her.

"Mr. Captain Hook? Do you travel to other worlds on that ship?" She was, at the moment, hoping he had seen Riku or Sora.

"Why, yes it does lass. Any reason ye ask?" A small smirk appeared on his face.

"Have ye -I mean you- seen two boys? One about this tall," she put a hand some inches above her head, "with brown hair and blue eyes, and one about this tall, " she put her other hand up higher than the other, "with blue eyes and white hair?"

"Oh, why yes I have. The last I saw they were fighting each other," he said matter-o-factly.

"Fighting? But why?" A pained look flashed over her face. "What for?"

"Sora -that is his name correct?- thought that Riku was doing something terribly wrong. Riku was only trying to get Kairi's heart back. But Sora was very much against it."

'Why wouldn't Sora want Kairi's heart back? Doesn't he…' She looked down gripping her necklace.

"Tomorrow when you leave… where are you going?"

"Just to Hallow Bastion." He then added quickly, "Riku should be there."

She looked up at him quickly, dropping the necklace so that the charm landed on its usual spot above her belly button. "Really? May I… may I come with you?"

He gave a fake disappointed look. "I am not sure. We still have a long way to go meaning you will hardly be getting off the ship. And I don't want any dead weight on my ship."

"Please! I have to find Riku. I'll do anything I can to help," she pleaded greatly.

"Well… alright then. But only if ye promise."

"I promise."

"Good. Now why do you want to find Riku so badly, lass?" She blushed and he smiled. "You can tell me. I won't snitch."

She stood on tip toe and whispered something into his ear. It made a real look of regret and sorrow flash upon his face but he hid it from her.

After saying their good bye's and thank you's, Rana headed to her place. Captain Hook walked back to the ship and said to Mr. Schmey on his way, "All according to plan."

))))((((

His name is Mr. Schmey right? That fat dude in the red hat and blue and white striped shirt? Oh well. Review please.
