The man ran down the alley, fearing for his life. He kept running, hearing nothing but the occasional passing of a car. Whoosh! The man turned his head, but saw nothing. He bumped into something. It was a tall and eerie figure. It wore a black robe with white trim, and atop its head was a bamboo hat. The most horrifying thing though, was the mask. The mask was a demonic, stone mask, with curving, protruding fangs, in the style of ancient Japanese demons.

The man slowly backed away, “What the heck are you?!” he exclaimed. No reply. His back then bumped into something else. He turned to see another one, except it wore a white robe with black trim. This one drew its weapon from its sleeve. It was a hand-held scythe on the end of a chain.

“SOMEBODY!!! PLEASE HE…” The man's head rolled along the ground. Blood poured out onto the cement. The one in white put the scythe back in his sleeve. The white one looked at the one in black. They both nodded, before they leaped back into the shadows from whence they came.
