The doctors at the emergency room of the hospital raced in and out of the room of Michael Sven, a female doctor pulled aside one of her colleagues. “Any word on the patient yet?” The other doctor shook his head. “No, we can't seem to fine the problem we're doing blood tests to confirm the problem the others think it may be a reaction to some kind of radioactivity.” the female doctor thought for a second then spoke again “do we have any background information, like where he worked or his occupation?” “We're looking into that right now.” The female doctor nodded “okay then.” she went back into the room taken by Michael Sven. She stared at him as he lay there, he had changed drastically since he reached the hospital five minutes ago his eyelids were a pale purple and his face a ghostly white. She had never seen anything like this in her whole entire career, she walked over to his bedside and felt his forehead, and she drew back her hand quickly, surprised at how low his body temperature was, she went to the end of the bed and picked up his chart reading. She re-hung it over the railing of the bed and headed out of the room turning the lights off. Before she went past the doorway, the same doctor walked over to her with a frightened expression on his face. He glanced over at Michael Sven and the looked at the doctor.  “We've found what's wrong with him…” he leaned in closer and muttered everything he had learned from the reading in the main room.  “This could be a national crisis…” The female doctor stared at him shocked, “are-are you sure maybe there's something wrong with the machine or something,” the male doctor shook his head. “No, we did the analysis several times over all the results came out the same. It is also said that the same thing is happening globally and all patients who check into a hospital anywhere with such conditions must report to the MAIN SCIENCE FACILITY in Australia.” The female doctor looked back at Michael Sven “I guess we'll have to deport him immediately then, poor guy he looks only to be a kid and I here that not the nicest things happen in that facility.” The Male doctor shrugged “there's nothing we can do, it's the governments decision.”

12:01 Am.

the crowd cheered excitedly at the new revelation the new millennium had arrived, the mayor of stepped onto the stage in the middle of the auditorium surrounded by milestone citizens.  He cleared his throat and the crowd quieted down, “fellow milestone citizens, at this wonderful event we are not only gathered to celebrate the new millennium, we are also here to commemorate the past millenniums and honor our ancestors who have helped to bring us to the point we're at today as the human race…” Trisha stuffed her hands into her coat pockets as she tried to concentrate on the words spoken by the mayor. She noticed her father sitting to the far left of the mayor, he saw her and waved her mother and brother waved back, Trisha looked away ignoring him.  Her mother looked down at her with a scolding look on her face and Trisha loosened her frown and whispered “what? My hands are cold.” Her mother shushed her and went back to listening to the mayor.

Within 20 minutes, the mayor had finished his speech, and they had seen all the special presentations honoring the new millennium.  On their walk back to the transportation system, Jacob lay on his mothers back sleeping and exhausted from the later hours and activities.  “So did you enjoy that sweet heart?” Trisha shrugged, her mother sighed “Trisha what's happened? You never seem to want to talk nowadays before you used to be a little chatterbox…” her mother looked at her.  “Trisha is there something wrong, is there anything you want to talk about? School?  How is school?  How are your friends/ you never invite them over anymore and what about that boy Jake- “Mom, everything's okay! There's nothing to worry about.”  Trisha sped up as the bus pulled in.  For the rest of the night, no one spoke.

Chapter 3
January 1st 3800
Michael Sven awoke with a start; he opened his eyes and noticed he was in a confined space that was completely dark, he also noticed that he was tied down to stretcher he tried to wriggle out of the position but the restraints wouldn't budge.  Suddenly a light bulb hanging over him went on, he squinted his eyes at the bright and sudden light.  A man and woman clad in white came up beside, the man cleared his throat and Spoke.  “Mr. Sven, tell why don't you tell us about yourself.”  Michael stared at the man and expression of fear on his face, “what do you mean about me? I'm I in some kind of trouble or something?”  The woman crossed her arms and leaned in mustering the most comforting smile she could then she spoke “I assure you Mr. Sven you have nothing to worry about if you answer our questions and follow any requests given.”  She leaned back to her previous position and the man spoke again “here why don't we make this a little easier, what form of occupation do you have?”  Michael blinked “I'm as university student preparing to go into robotic programming, but before you go on could you please tell me what's happening?”  The man nodded but ignored Michael plea “You're a student which would make you how old then?”  Michael sighed then reluctantly answered the question “18.”  The man nodded again then scribbled something into the notepad he held.  “What are you writing?” Michael asked.  The man ignored him and asked another question, “Do you live with any relatives?”  Michael nodded “My mom and younger sister.”  How old is your sister?”  “12 years old”  “and you mother?”  Michael thought for a second.  “I'm not sure last time I checked she was around 39 years old.”  The man looked at him,  “How long ago was that?” “Don't know…”Michael answered.   The doctor closed up his notepad after scribbling I his last notes. “Thank you Mr. Sven you've been very helpful.” Michael Sven sighed “well can you at least get me out of this? It's kind of uncomfortable.” The two doctors headed back out and the female doctor turned, “you'll be sent to a different location soon Mr. Sven just be patient.” Before Michael could say more the lights went out and all was dark again.

AN:///Phew well glad that chapter's done with, I'm also doing this to hand into my business class, so that's kinda why I'm being pushed to do as much as I can. Of course I can't finish everything before tomorrow I only plan to write as much as I can and hand it in (so far that about ten pages worth of ink but it's the school's ink so I don't really care all that much) anyways…so yeah ciao!: D
