Chapter 4 - Blackmail

Author's Note: I'm sorry of I took to long to update, but it's really hard avoiding my parents. But any who, this story contains implied rape and other stuff so enjoy!

 

It was late at night and Riku just entered his home after spending hours at the movie theatre, too tired to ask his dad what he did to Sora.

Riku quickly passed his father's closed door and entered his own room before heading to sleep. He thought he heard moaning, but quickly dismissed it as he was knocked out cold by his sleeping desires.

Sora woke up looking around to remember where he was. “This isn't my room” thought Sora trying to recall what had occurred in the previous night. His memory then came back to him as he saw a sleeping Sephiroth next to him.

He immediately thought of Riku and what he had done with his father. “What have I done?” thought Sora regretting his activities with Sephiroth last night. Upon thinking of that, he saw a waking up Sephiroth stare at him with his hypnotic eyes.

“Morning sleepy head” Sephiroth spoke with evilness in his voice.

Sora then realized that he was naked and struggled to locate his boxers. He found them thrown next to a mirror. He quickly put them on and began to look for his pants.

“Lose something?” Sephiroth spoke with a menacing tone. “Your dignity? Innocence? Virginity…”

Sora stopped suddenly. Sephiroth was right. He had lost to virginity and not to the one he cared about, but to a person he just met last night.

Tears began to form in his eyes before realizing that Riku must be home. “Oh my God! What if he comes in and sees me with his dad!” Sora began to sob quietly not wanting Riku to hear him.

“There's no need to cry Sora” spoke Sephiroth “Riku doesn't have to know…”

Sora looked up at Sephiroth, his tears steadily flowing down his face. He could see the Sephiroth's gentle and seductive appearance fade away.

“I won't tell, if you break up with my son.” Sephiroth spoke with an evil grin on his face.

Sora immediately began to think, I can't do that! No one else will accept me like this, but every time I look at Riku, I would see his father…and the things we did… As Sora continued to debate in his mind on what to do, he saw Sephiroth reach for something in the drawer next to him.

Sora couldn't see what Sephiroth took out, but saw him move over to the television and place something in the VCR he kept in his room.

In that instant, images of last nights sexual activities appeared on the television screen. Sora looked in horror as he was reminded of cheating on his boyfriend.

Sephiroth was smart to mute the television so that Riku would be unable to hear, but the moaning could still be heard in Sora's mind. He can still feel Sephiroth touching him, kissing him, all he wanted to do was forget, but now he couldn't.

“You will break up with Riku or I will show this tape for all to see” threatened Sephiroth.

“You used me…” Sora spoke still sobbing.

“Of course” replied Sephiroth coldly. “I can't let everyone know that I have a gay son, and him having a boyfriend is not helping.”

“But you're gay too!” Sora said angrily

“Not entirely true, I'm bisexual.” corrected Sephiroth. “Just think of what the press could do with information that my son is gay, they would put my company out of a business, and that would put your mother out of a job.”

“You own Valentine Hospital?” asked Sora who didn't want his mom to lose her job.

“Sephiroth Valentine” said Sephiroth clearly speaking his name.

Sora recalled when Riku first introduced himself to the class and didn't think anything of his last name before, but now his mother could lose her job because he didn't take much notice of it.

“So do we have a deal?” Sephiroth spoke knowing what response he would get.

“…yes” Sora couldn't believe he had agreed to Sephiroth's demands, but he had to protect his mother. Sora now realized what Riku said when he went over his house for the first time, I don't know if I can “like” you for your own protection”

Then Sora was overcome with anger as he realized that Riku had sent him to his father knowing what Sephiroth would do to him. Sora began to cry again not caring who heard him. Sephiroth just stared at Sora with a blank expression before speaking.

“You're welcome to stay for as long as you need, but I don't ever want to see you near my son again.” And with that Sephiroth headed out the door to work at Valentine Hospital.

“Why…?” Sora kept repeating to himself “Why would Riku send me here if you knew what his father would do?” Sora continued to sob until he was interrupted by Riku who was mumbling to himself on the other side of the door.

“Shit,” Riku cursed, “I'm gonna be late again. I hope Sora isn't waiting up for me or he might be late to… I hope Sora's okay…”

Sora could hear Riku's concern for him as he left for school. Sora stayed in Sephiroth's room until he was sure that Riku had left. Once he heard a door slam, he stood up and began to look for his pants and shirt. He found his pants thrown over a chair and he quickly put them on.

He then began his search for his shirt. Sora grew irritated when he couldn't find it until he remembered that Sephiroth removed it from him in the kitchen the night before.

Just the thought of Sephiroth filled Sora with anger and regret. How could I let him do that to me? And there's nothing I can do about it except break up with Riku before he finds out…

Sora began to run downstairs so he could retrieve his shirt, but stopped when he felt a pain in his behind. Sora quickly slowed down his speed hoping that the pain would fade, but it soon returned with each step he took down the stairs.

Once Sora reached the kitchen he sighed with relief when he found his shirt. He quickly put it on and started looking for a phone.

He needed a phone so that he could call his mom and explain why he didn't return home last night. He found the phone in the living room and quickly punched in his phone number.

“Hello?” greeted Sora's mother.

“Hi mom” Sora greeted trying to sound as cheerful as he possibly could.

“Where have you been?! I've been so worried about you!” yelled Sora's mom.

“I'm sorry I worried you, but it got really late and they didn't want me going home alone in the dark, and their parents had to leave because of an emergency, so they couldn't take me home.” Sora lied.

“I see, well I'm glad you're safe, but if you couldn't come home, then why didn't you at least call last night?”

Sora thought quickly of a reply, but couldn't think of any, so he said the first thing that popped into his head.

“Uh, they don't own any phones…” Sora lied knowing that his lie would be hard to believe.

“They don't own any phones? How come?”

“Because they believe that phones give you brain cancer and can kill you in a matter of minutes…”

“… Well okay son, but where are you calling from?”

“I'm calling from a payphone at school”

“Okay then, have a great day at school, goodbye.”

“Wait!” shouted Sora, “A friend of mine asked if I could sleep over their house today, and I said if it was okay with you, so can I?”

“Um, okay. I have to work late at the hospital anyway, have a great time.”

“I will, thanks mom, I better goes before I'm late, bye!”

“Bye Son”

Sora couldn't believe how gullible his mom was, but lied to her nonetheless because he didn't want to face her with his new devirgined aura. He just hoped Sephiroth would let him stay for one more night, just to clear his head.

Sora thought that he should reconsider where he should stay, but knew that Riku's home would be the only place where he could think without being pounded into the ground with questions of why he didn't come to school.

At least it's better tan being with Kairi… Sora wobbled to the kitchen and made his breakfast, tears mixing with his food.

 

Riku was worried when he didn't see Sora at school. He hoped that he wasn't hurt and didn't hate him for whatever Sephiroth did to him.

Riku still didn't know what his father had done to all his boyfriends to make them break up with him, and he didn't want the same thing to happen to Sora. Riku finally decided to visit him after school to find out why he didn't show up today.

Riku came out of his thoughts when he heard the bell ring. The class immediately began to leave, but Yuna called Riku before he left.

“Riku” called Yuna.

“Yes Yuna?” Riku answered heading towards her desk.

“Can I have a word with you after school?” Yuna asked with a menacing grin.

“I don't know if I can, I have to meet someone later” Riku answered too preoccupied with thinking about Sora to notice Yuna's evil smirk.

“This can't wait, come back here after school.”

“Okay” Riku gave in even though he wanted to see Sora.

“Hey Riku! Over here!” shouted a hyper Tidus.

Riku paid for his lunch and walked over to Tidus and Wakka who were snuggling really close to one another. He took his seat and greeted his new friends.

“Hey” Riku said, still disappointed that Sora didn't show up for school.

“Hey Riku, do you know where Sora is?” asked Tidus.

“No I haven't seen him since yesterday afternoon. I invited him over for dinner with my dad, but I couldn't be there with them.”

“Why weren't you there?” asked Wakka.

“I had tutoring, I can't have looks and brains you know” Riku said playfully.

“He must have caught something since then, you should visit him after school.” Tidus told Riku.

“I can't. Yuna wants to talk to me after school for some reason, so I might just call him when I get home.”

“Okay, well tell him to get better for us ya” Wakka said concerned for their friend Sora.

“No problem.” Riku said feeling better about the situation.

The three friends enjoyed their meal until lunch was over and they had to return to their studies.

 

Riku entered Yuna's room and saw grading papers on her desk. He sat in his seat until she called him. Yuna not realizing that Riku had entered was surprised to see him waiting at his seat when she was finished grading papers.

She gestured for Riku to sit in the seat in front of her desk. Riku got up and sat where she told him to.

“Riku I see that you are now a couple with Sora, am I not correct?” asked Yuna.

“Yeah, is there a problem?” Riku replied wondering if that's why she held him back in school.

“I have to say that he's too good for you” Yuna spoke coldly.

“I don't care what you think” said Riku never losing his calm.

“Yes, but it's not what I think…” Yuna then reached into her purse and pulled out a syringe, “its how you're going to pay!”

Yuna stabbed Riku with the needle and injected him with an unknown substance. Riku immediately removed the needle, but was too late. She had already injected every drop of the substance. Riku began to grow incredibly drowsy and heard Yuna saying, “Revenge is sweet” before losing consciousness.

 

Riku woke up a couple hours later with a terrible headache. He looked at the clock on the wall and saw that it was 9:00. “She must have sedated me…” thought Riku.

Riku stood on his feet and saw that he was entirely naked. His clothes were removed and thrown on the floor so he picked them up and quickly put them on.

A terrible feeling began to occur in his stomach and Riku instinctively ran to the wastebasket beside Yuna's desk.

Before he threw up he could have sworn he saw a condom, but it was immediately covered in vomit. Riku didn't know what to make of what Yuna could have done to him, but whatever proof he had, it was just destroyed.

He just threw up on the condom and she probably got rid of the syringe by now, there was nothing he could do. Riku feeling a little traumatized headed home.

Sora patiently waited in Sephiroth's room as the grandfather clock downstairs struck nine, and a loud ringing could be heard nine times throughout the house. Sora heard the door unlocking downstairs followed by footsteps.

At first Sora thought that it was Riku, but heard that the footsteps were louder and seemed to echo all around the house, so it must have been Sephiroth.

Sora heard the footsteps beginning to climb each step. Sora felt like an eternity was passing by as the footsteps grew nearer to where Sora was. Finally Sora saw the door knob turning as Sephiroth opened the door entering his bedroom.

Sephiroth was surprised to see the young brunette still in his room, right where he left him. Sora opened his mouth as if to speak, but was quickly interrupted by Sephiroth's superior voice.

“What are you still doing here?” Sephiroth asked coldly.

“I-i…uh…need a…p-place to… stay…” Sora stuttered because he feared the silver haired man.

“So…”

“This is the only place I can stay in” Sora managed to say still frightened.

“No” replied Sephiroth calmly.

“What…?” Sora asked shocked at his response.

“I said no, so get out”

“I can't!” Sora yelled

“Did you break up with Riku?”

“No…not yet”

“Well come back when you do” he said sarcastically.

“But where am I supposed to go! I can't face my mom after what you did to me!”

“I didn't do anything to you except give you what you wanted”

“I never asked for anything! You forced that upon me!”

“No I didn't. If memory serves, I believe you told me that you wanted me in you”

“But you took advantage of me!”

“If you want we can watch the tape to see who's right. All I did was give you what you asked for”

“I didn't ask to be blackmailed into dumping your son!”

“Well I didn't ask for a gay son, but life isn't fair so just deal with it or get out.”

At this point Sora was on the brink of tears until he heard a door slam “Riku!” Sora thought and was that Riku would come in and see him.

“Fine I'm leaving” Sora finally said not wanting Sephiroth to show the tape to Riku. “Let me just wait until Riku goes in his room…”

“Fine” Sephiroth said, “but you have until the end of the week to break up with Riku.”

Riku ran straight to his room still traumatized about what Yuna could have done to him. “The condom could have broken and she could be pregnant! Or I could have AIDS!” Riku didn't want to think of what could have happened anymore. He put his thoughts behind him and fell asleep.

Sora thought he heard Riku snoring so he got up and left for the door.

“Remember, you have until the end of the week” Sephiroth reminded.

“I know…” replied Sora.

Sora left Sephiroth's room and tried to be as quiet as he possibly could so that he wouldn't wake Riku. When Sora finally reached the bottom of the stairs he quickly opened the door and slammed it shut. Sora looked at the night sky and saw that there was no moon.

The night glistened with stars that twinkled their hearts out as if they were showing sorrow towards Sora. Sora thought about where could stay, but couldn't think because he was mesmerized by the stars.

Sora immediately began to walk not caring where his legs were taking him. Tears began to fall from his face as the street lights began to turn on, blocking all sight of the heavenly night.

After a couple minutes Sora wiped the tears from his eyes and looked at where he was. Sora saw that he was near Tidus' house, so Sora walked towards there.

The young brunette walked up the doorsteps and knocked on the door hoping that Tidus would answer and let him stay. Sora was disappointed when Tidus' father answered the door.

“Hello Jecht” Sora greeted with a fake smile.

Jecht was a little surprised to see Sora at his doorstep. He had often fantasized doing things to Sora, naughty things… But he didn't want to get arrested for doing a minor so he only fantasized and nothing more, but after today, anything was possible.

“Hi Sora, it's always great to see you, but what are you doing here so late?” asked Jecht unable to look away from Sora's sapphire eyes.

“Um is Tidus home?” Sora asked feeling a bit uncomfortable by the way Jecht was looking at him.

“Oh yeah, let me get him, why don't you make yourself at home” Jecht said before running off to get Tidus.

Tidus was doing his homework after six hours of procrastination.

“Hey Tidus” Jecht called

“Yeah Dad?” Tidus asked looking up from his unfinished homework.

“Sora's here to see you” Jecht told him.

“Um, okay hold on,” Tidus said surprised that Sora was at his house so late, especially since he didn't go to school earlier.

Tidus got up from the desk he was at and headed down the hallway leading to the living room. Sora was sitting on the leather couch with a cup of hot chocolate, courtesy of Jecht. Tidus saw that Sora had a depressed face and thought of ways to cheer him up.

“Hiya Sora!” Tidus greeted warm heartedly.

“Hey…” Sora replied with no emotion.

“So what brings you to my humble abode so late?” Tidus asked.

“Um, nothing. I was just wondering if I could spend the night…”

“I don't see why not, but can't you sleep at home?”

“Not now. I don't really want to see my mom…”

Tidus looked a Sora and saw that something was different about him. Sora's clothes were wrinkled, and there was a strange familiar scent coming from him. Tidus opened his mouth in shock as he figured out what was different about Sora.

“Why do you keep looking at me like that?” Sora said feeling as uncomfortable as when Jecht was staring at him.

“You're not a virgin anymore are you?” Tidus teased.

`What! What makes you say that?” Sora said defensively.

“You know I'm right, so tell me, when did Riku get you!”

“Um…he didn't…”Sora confessed under his breath

“What do you mean? I can tell you're not a virgin anymore, but if Riku didn't take you're virginity then who did?” Tidus asked curiosity taking the best of him.

“No one, so can I stay here or not…” Sora said avoiding the question.

Tidus got Sora's hint and decided not to push Sora's buttons until he was ready.

“Yeah sure, you can take my bed, I'll use a sleeping bag. But does your mom know you're here?

“Yeah…Thanks Tidus”

“Anytime buddy, but can you do me a favor?”

“Sure”

“Can you help me with my homework?”

The two friends headed off to Tidus' room forgetting the awkwardness that had occurred in the previous room.

 

I hope you all enjoyed this chapter! I know there wasn't much action in it, but this set up the plot for the next chapter. I'm sorry if anyone didn't like the implied rape, but it was necessary for Yuna's revenge. And it has a lot to do a lot later on in the story, so don't be all like “Riku got raped, boo hoo” it doesn't matter! Well yeah it does, but review and I might care. Next chapter is “The Hidden Tape”
