Taranee could not believe what she was seeing! She even took her glasses off and cleaned them just to make sure she wasn't seeing things.
No longer did the students see Mr. Collins, but instead a tall and evil, lizard-like creature. It was Cedric in his Metamoorian form!
Courtney and Bess screamed in harmony, and Mrs. Nelson made an "O" with her mouth.
Suddenly, the real Mr. Collins had walked in with a cup of coffee. He had one for Mrs. Nelson and one for himself. When he saw Cedric, he dropped the two cups, and coffee spilled all over the floor, along with tons of broken glass.
How could this be? Taranee thought. The Oracle had locked up him and Phobos in the Tower of Mists!
Will would have gone to the Heart of Candracar for help, but then their identity would be revealed, and that would not be a good thing.
"He can never have enough of us, can he?" Taranee overheard Irma whisper to Hay Lin, smirking.
"L-l-leave these ch-ch-children alone!" Mr. Collins managed to say in a loud, deep voice.
"Who's going to stop me? A puny little human like yourself?" Cedric hissed back. Mrs. Nelson had fainted by now, and so did half of the eighth grade girls. But, not the members of W.I.T.C.H. They were still staring coldly at Cedric, ready for a fight!

"What are we going to do?" Taranee asked Will, shuddering. "I'll tell you when I know," Will replied in a hoarse whisper.
A long silence passed and then suddenly Will said "I got a plan," She ran up to Cedric with a smirk on her face. The four other guardians followed with surprised faces. What's she up to? Taranee thought.
"You want to "capture" us?" Will laughed. "Go ahead!" Then she opened the door and ran into the hallway. Cedric went after her, with the four girls trailing behind.
"What's wrong with her?" Cornelia asked. "Her plans may seem crazy, but remember, Cornelia, they always end up working," Hay Lin pointed out with a wink. Cornelia smirked and kept of running.
They caught up with Will as they all reached the Gym door. Will opened it and ran in, Cedric and the guardians following.
"Ready?" Will asked her friends. "Ready!" They answered. Taranee sighed. I'm not sure if I'm ready, she thought.
"Irma! Water!" Will screamed. "Fire, Earth, Air!"
The five girls were transformed. They were no longer schoolgirls, but the Guardians of the Veil. They all had on turquoise and purple outfits on, and each had their own pair of wings. But, of course, Hay Lin is the only one who can fly, Taranee thought, smiling.
"Want a piece of us?" Irma joked, smirking at Cedric.

Taranee threw a huge fireball right at Cedric's head. A direct hit, she thought with a smile. "Taranee!" Someone called.
Taranee looked around, but none of the other girls could have said anything. Will was busy throwing pink energy blasts, Irma was shooting him with water from the water fountain, Cornelia was making a vine come out of the floor and grab Cedric, and Hay Lin was flying up by the ceiling, trying to force Cedric down to the ground with the huge gusts of wind.
Who was it? She thought. "Taranee!" Taranee suddenly remembered the voice. It was Elyon! Duh, telepathy! Taranee thought.
"Elyon, what's wrong?!" Taranee thought, as she walked over to a corner and sat down. "Phobos is at the castle!" Elyon thought back.
She sounds desperate, Taranee thought to herself. "Don't worry, Elyon, we'll be there!" She thought.
She got up and ran to Will. "Elyon needs our help, we need to cross through the portal!" Taranee told her. "Right." Will said, and leaned over and whispered to Irma and Cornelia, "Go back to the class, tell them that the monster took us, and remember, try to stop anyone from going into the gym, especially Bess and Courtney,"
"Got it!" Irma and Cornelia said together. They turned into their normal selves, and quickly ran out of the gym.

Taranee looked as Cornelia and Irma left. Great, now there are only three of us! She thought with a sigh.
"Follow me," Will said to Hay Lin and Taranee. She ran and jumped through the portal at the end of the gym. Hay Lin followed with Taranee at the end. Of course, Cedric went through, too, trying to catch them.
Great, we're playing tag! Taranee thought, chuckling.
Taranee through fire at the ground as she ran so Cedric would have to slow down because of the hot ground. Hay Lin flew higher and started to gather speed.
Taranee noticed that Metamoor has became brighter than their last visit.
The houses were fixed, flowers were blooming, and the bright sun and blue sky was out. But, although it looked better, the town was in chaos. And, this was because of one reason: Phobos was back.
Taranee couldn't help but admire the city; even it was big ugly monsters that inhabited it. She noticed the rebellion, including Vathek.
Looks like their job isn't over yet, Taranee thought. The Metamoorians gasped with the sight of Cedric, but then cheered with the sight of the Guardians. Looks like we're pretty popular here, she thought, smiling.

Taranee looked hard at Cedric. Bring it on, loser! She thought with a smirk.
"Hay Lin, go see if Elyon is still at the castle!" Will said. "Sure thing!" Hay Lin said, winking. Then, she flew off towards the direction of the Queen's tower.
"Taranee, take care of Cedric," Will told her. "My pleasure." Taranee said, smiling. She conjured of a huge fireball and threw it at her target. The target was hit and Cedric bent down, gasping for breath. Yes! She thought.
Will, meanwhile, walked up to Vathek and the other Metamoorians. "What's exactly happened?" She asked. "We're not sure...Phobos just popped out of nowhere!" A creature said. Not very helpful, Taranee thought as she walked over, after forcing Cedric to the ground.
Suddenly, a shadow fell upon Will. Then, she disappeared, and Cedric was gone, too!
