Fan Fiction ❯ Warrior of the Sheikah ❯ Green with Envy ( Chapter 2 )
Green with Envy
-2-
"Hello," said Faith, a wicked smile spread across her face. She wore jet black trousers and a black top; on her face she wore black make-up. Faith was a Goth, but unlike a sheikah, she had bright green eyes that pierced into Zelda's mind; she also had silky light brown hair.
Great, thought Zelda, I gotta look after a little Goth girl for three weeks.
"Hello Faith," said Zelda, not really caring, but to be courteous.
"I think I'll like staying in a big castle," she said looking at the castle and then looking back to Zelda and Pirate. "You have a handsome horse, what's his name?"
"Pirate," replied Zelda, "but her doesn't take to strangers very well."
Faith held her hand up to Pirate's nose for him to trust her, and then she stroked his mane and smiled up to Zelda.
"You were saying," she joked.
"He must like you very much," said Zelda dismounting Pirate.
"You two are getting along better that I'd thought," said Impa sounding surprised.
"Impa tells me that you do witchcraft, is this true?" asked Faith, waiting eagerly for an answer.
"Yes, I have been doing it for four years," she smiled at Faith.
"I was wondering if you could teach me some of the basics," said Faith.
"Sure, I would love to," Zelda responded. Zelda grabbed Pirate's reins and led him into the stables then ran back out to return with Impa and Faith.
Zelda linked her arm with Faith and the girls walked into the entrance hall, where Harkinian was standing, waiting.
"Sorry Father, that I am late returning," Zelda explained, smiling sweetly up at her father.
"I don't mind," he replied, "you were with Link and I know that he looks after you and would risk his own life for yours."
Zelda blushed at her father's comment, for what he didn't know was that she was deeply in love with Link and that she had never told anyone.
"Yes Father," said Zelda trying to control her complexion, "he is a very kind boy, and now if you would excuse Faith and I."
"Yes, you go and play with your new friend," Harkinian smiled delighted.
Zelda and Faith scampered up the stairs and along the corridor to Zelda's room.
Back downstairs, Harkinian and Impa stood awestruck.
"They seem to be getting on better than I had first thought," admitted Harkinian.
"Yes, Sire, I never expected them to get along this quickly," agreed Impa, "or even at all as Faith does have a `little' bad reputation."
Meanwhile, upstairs, Zelda was trying to teach Faith some Wiccan spells from her simplest spell book.
Zelda's room was filled with pink; Faith's face went a pale white when she saw this color. The bed had a pink, red and light purple canopy over it and it had corresponding bed sheets and covers. On two walls were all spell books disguised as history books, but Zelda knew what they really were. On the other walls there was nothing, they were bare, plain dark and light grey.
"Right, now repeat this after me," said Zelda placing some potions into her cauldron. "'My heart; my soul; my body; my mind, I wish to become powerful with the power of Wicca. Neither Grey nor black, but only white,'" said Zelda, "now you."
"'My heart; my soul; my body; my mind, I wish to become powerful with the power of Wicca. Neither Grey nor black, but only white,'" repeated Faith, her hand held over the cauldron. A sudden flash of brilliant white light filled the room and the girls were thrown aback against the far end of the room. Faith clenched her chest, she felt a burning sensation against it, and she slowly looked at her chest and saw a small mark of a pentagram. Faith cried softly to herself and Zelda looked at her.
"What ever is the matter?" asked Zelda looking at Faith with apprehension.
"I am suppose to be The Warrior of the Sheikah, look at me, I am not suppose to cry," she said wiping away her few tears that fell from her emerald eyes.
"Everyone has to cry at least once in their lives," Zelda countered trying to comfort Faith; it seemed to be working.
"Thank you Zelda, for being a good friend," said Faith looking at her and then giving her a friendly hug.
"Well, now you are a true Wiccan, just like me, but you need to work on some spells to become a Witch," explained Zelda, "you are only a mage now, but I bet you shall be a very powerful witch at heart and soul."
"Thank you Zelda," smiled Faith, "I'll never be as good as you though, no matter how hard I try."
Zelda smiled at Faith; maybe she wasn't as bad as she had thought. Suddenly, there was a loud knock on the huge mahogany door that led out into the corridor.
"Come in!" Zelda shouted.
Impa entered and smiled at the two girls who were still sitting up against the stone wall.
"Sorry Faith but it is now time for bed," said Impa caringly, "you too, Zelda. Do you want me to wake you up early so you can practice, or go out somewhere?"
"Please," chorused Faith and Zelda together.
"Goodnight Zelda," said Faith, getting up and running over to her Auntie Impa, "see you in the morning."
"Goodnight Faith, back to you," said Zelda slowly lifting herself from the floor, putting all of her weight onto her arms.
"I'll be back in now, ok," said Impa leading Faith from Zelda's room. Faith was led one door from Zelda's room. Impa pushed open the mahogany door and Faith entered delightedly and looked around. The walls were exactly the same as Zelda's but they were worn and Faith looked happily at the interior of the decoration on the table. She smiled as she saw a beautiful red rose that lay upon the dressing table. The curtains were a pale pink and the sheets matched, but by this time, Faith couldn't care less if it were decorated with white.
"I have unpacked your things," said Impa, "they're in the wardrobe, and Hun, don't try to sneak out into Zelda's room."
Faith laughed and so did Impa.
"I know Auntie," she smiled, "thank you for your trouble in doing this for me. Please could you thank the King for letting me stay inside his magnificent castle?"
"I will," said Impa, placing a night-shirt in Faith's pale hands.
"Thank you again Auntie," said Faith pulling the black night-shirt over her head and pulling it down. She placed her top back into her suitcase for the laundry and her trousers, she would wear tomorrow.
"Goodnight sweetie," said Impa, tucking Faith into her bed and giving her a light kiss on her forehead.
"Goodnight, Auntie," said Faith waving to Impa before she left the room.
Impa walked the short distance back into Zelda's room. When she got there Zelda was already in her bed.
"Goodnight Zelda," said Impa kissing Zelda on her forehead, "hope you have nice dreams."
"Goodnight, to you too Impa," said Zelda hugging her and then letting go.
Impa tucked her into her bed and then shut the door quietly behind her as she left the room. She slowly walked down the stairs and turned into the symposium. There she saw King Harkinian and his associate, Meredith Malcolm, who sat there drinking a cup of coffee.
"Beautiful night isn't it," she mused.
"Yes tis beautiful," agreed Impa.
Impa sat next to the King and looked at the bottle in his hand and exhaled deeply.
"What have I told you before?" said Impa to Harkinian.
"I know, but a little bit of lager once in a while will not do any harm," he retorted handing a small bottle to Impa, "you need to loosen up and calm down."
Impa took the bottle and took a swig from it. She seemed to be contented with it and by the smile on her face, she defiantly needed it.
"You want any Meredith?" asked Harkinian lifting up another bottle and smiling at her. Meredith was a sophisticated woman and never disobeyed any of her orders. She had shoulder length strawberry blonde hair and pale green eyes; she wore glasses, shaped as half moons.
"No thank you, Sire," she retorted in a proper manner, "it is getting very late and at this hour, one should be in bed. I am retiring to my quarters. Goodnight Harkinian and goodnight Impa."
"Night Mer," replied Impa.
"Yes a very goodnight to you Meredith," said the King, his voice slurred with his drunkenness.
Meredith tried not to stick her nose up at them and walked up the stone staircase and along to her room. Impa stood up from her chair and helped the King up as well, luckily, she was still sober. She led him over to his room and pushed him gently through the door, he flopped down over onto the bed and Impa giggled slightly to herself and shut the door quietly. Impa trudged up the stairs and along the long corridor and retired to her own room. She kicked off her boots and slipped off her armory; picked up a silk night-shirt and tugged it over her head and brushed her silvery hair.
"Must get up early in the morning," she said to herself almost in a whisper. She laid her head onto her pillow and drifted off into a deep sleep.
Finally morning broke, the songbirds sung their beautiful morning song and it woke Impa up. She reluctantly sat up and wiped her eyes and ran through into Zelda's room. To her very surprise, Faith and Zelda were already up and dressed, clean and washed. Impa smiled and looked at them both. Zelda wore a pretty white top with a Celtic symbol meaning love on it and baggy camouflage trousers that Faith had lent her. Faith on the other hand wore black make-up, a black mesh top through which you could see her bra and the trousers she had worn the day before; black trousers.
"I am going to take Faith to meet Link," said Zelda happily. Impa smiled at both the girls and walked up to them.
"I shall tell your father that you went out just before he woke up," she laughed, "so it should be in about four hours or so."
"Thank you!" shouted both girls in unison running down the stairs. Zelda led Faith to the Royal Stables and the farmhand was there cleaning Pirate's stall out. His name was Dylan. He was a handsome young man, with innocent blue baby eyes and a medium build for his own age, he wore a beige tunic with the symbol of the Royal bird holding the Triforce on the back of it. Dylan had sandy colored hair that was kept tidy, but the weird thing was he was not a peasant but a knight and served in the Royal army of Hyrule. He looked at Zelda and smiled, he liked her, but would never admit it; he looked deep into her beautiful eyes.
"Lovely morning My Lady," he smiled.
"Yes Dylan, beautiful," she replied giving him a hug and a kiss on the cheek. "Thank you for cleaning Pirate up for me, he looks as handsome as ever!"
"No, thank you My Lady," said Dylan bowing before her. Zelda jerked him from off his knee and hugged him again.
"Dylan!" she laughed, "but why ever do you do this?" Dylan just shrugged his shoulders. "Do you have a spare horse for my friend please?"
"Why of course Princess," Dylan smiled, "it shall have to be Andromeda today."
"No problem," she said getting both Pirate and Andromeda ready, "but please call me Zelda and nothing else, but maybe abbreviate my name though."
"Yes My La….Zelda," Dylan smiled. "Tis my sixteenth birthday tomorrow and I can not wait."
"Oh, I bet you can't," said Faith in a seductive voice. She sidled by his side and glided her hand across his chest, Dylan's muscles tensed up as she smiled and did this. Zelda looked curiously at her and Dylan. Faith caressed his cheek and winked at him; his muscles became less tensed and he relaxed. Dylan watched Faith as she put her arms around his neck and rested her nose on his own.
"I'll need to give you a special gift, won't I," Faith whispered at him. She leant her head to the right and placed her lips onto Dylan's and tried to slip her tongue into his mouth; but Dylan broke it off quickly.
"What's the matter?" she smirked. Dylan did nothing but scowl at her in anger. "Well I guess Zelda and I shall be off." Faith smiled at Dylan and he turned his head in shame.
Zelda and Faith mounted atop their high horses and galloped toward the Kokiri Forest. As they rode Faith looked over at Zelda; she had a look of somewhat sadness in her eyes and upon her face.
"Hey, what's wrong?" she asked, "Dylan isn't your boyfriend is he?"
"No," she said wondering about Link. What if she tries to kiss Link, Zelda though a tear in her eyes.
"Ok, but you look like you're gonna cry," Faith said sounding concerned.
"No, I'm fine," she reassured her, "really." Faith shrugged her shoulders and ignored everything around her.
At last they came to a halt outside the entrance to the Kokiri Forest. Zelda led them both through and onto the bridge. Once they were finally inside the actual forest Zelda ran to Link who was practicing his sword techniques. She made a throat clear and he sheathed his sword and turned to see Zelda and her friend.
"Hi Link," said Zelda, "this is Faith, Impa's niece."
"Hello Faith," said Link sending her a wink.
"Hey Link," she said in her cutest tone.
Faith looked deeply into Link's powerful eyes and he stared back. Zelda really loved Link but she would not admit it but deep down she knew that he loved her and she wanted so much to tell him that. She was so stubborn and wouldn't ever give in, but if Faith was going to make a move, which she probably would, she would need to act fast but she couldn't. Faith sidled up to Link and circled him while looking at his muscles.
"Were you a vulture in another life or something?" Link joked. Faith giggled and smiled at him.
"I know," said Link in an excited voice, "why don't we go over to the temple?"
"Sure," said Zelda. Faith nodded at Link.
All three of them raced off into the Sacred Forest Meadow and Link ran ahead into the main place. Zelda and Faith both followed Link and were amazed that he had already set up a picnic basket and a blanket for everyone to sit on.
"I'm going to get some berries ok," suggested Zelda picking up a big bowl from the basket and exhaled profoundly as she walked off into the depths of the woods.
"So...," said Faith, "you're the magnificent Link that I've heard so much about."
"I guess so," he countered taking a bite out of an apple. Faith caressed Link's hands and slid her hands up to his neck and wrapped her arms around him; Link's apple rolled out of his hand. She nudged her nose against his cheek and smiled beautifully at him. Link looked at her, Faith sat on Link's lap and put one leg each side of his waist. She removed her arms from his neck and put them against his chest and untied the top of his tunic, slid it down his shoulders and off from his body, his shirt was still left. Faith smiled again and took his shirt off also. Faith removed her mesh top leaving only her bra to cover her breasts. She placed herself closer to Link's torso until her breasts rested on his bare flesh. They looked deeply into each others eyes and Link placed his arms around Faith's body, she flinched at his cold hands touching her bare skin and she wrapped her arms around Link's neck.
"I love you," she whispered in his ear, it sent a chill down his entire spinal column. He had never experienced anything like this in his entire life and now he would enjoy it.
Link stared into Faith's luminous green eyes. He glanced at her chest and saw the mark of a pentagram and he knew that she was a mage, although he did not care. Faith lowered her head until she met contact with Link's neck. She slowly started to kiss it and lifted her head with a small smile on her face.
"Now you'll have something to remember me by," she said in a whisper.
Link peered at his neck and saw what she had done; she had left on his neck a mark, a love bite.
"I must give you one," Link smiled going to kiss her collar bone. He slowly stopped and saw the same mark.
"Perfect," she said starting to kiss him normally up his neck. "But it would be a shame if Zelda caught us," she whispered into his ear, "but that's what makes it sexier than it already is."
Faith gave Link a long, hard, passionate kiss on his lips. He closed his eyes slowly and so did Faith. While they kissed, often their tongues would slide into each others mouth, Link slowly took Faith's bra off her back and her bare flesh touched his muscular chest and both teen's breathing began to quicken. Faith gave a moan of pleasure as they kissed and so did Link. The fact that Zelda would walk by on them didn't mater now, but made it sexy. Link rubbed his hands over Faith's back and down her shoulders and back up to her back. Both of them just stayed like this for a good half hour.
Meanwhile, Zelda now had a smile across her face and now decided to walk back to the picnic spot. She skipped all the way back there and looked up. She dropped the bowl in horror as she lifted her hand up to her mouth. Tears came to her eyes and she ran out of the forest and out to Hyrule field. She mounted Pirate and dragged Andromeda behind her.
"That fucking bitch," cried Zelda, "if she thinks she's having this fucking horse back to the castle she has another fucking thing coming." Zelda never usually cursed, but now she was in a blind rage with her new so-called-friend Faith. As she rode toward the castle, tears fell rapidly from her soft blue eyes.
Link looked at Faith; he smiled and kissed Faith on the forehead.
"Do you want to go back to my house so we can have a little more privacy?" he asked.
"Yeah, I would hate someone walking in on us out here," she giggled as she put her bra and mesh top back on, Link stayed as he was. Only his chest up was shown so it would not matter anyhow. Both teenagers ran all the way to Link's house and climbed the ladder as fast as they could. Both out of breath; Link pinned Faith to the wall and started to kiss her deeply.
