A Blissful Conclusion

Geese Howard's eyes were enflamed with rage and longing. They had escaped him for the moment, but their deaths were soon at hand. He felt the rush of power boil up in him and a twisted smiled formed on his face. Soon he would have all the power of the Godamus girl and have Terry Bogard bleeding beneath him with his heart in Geese's hand. The fantasy brought forth a chuckle from Geese as the dark shadow of the power he had awakened wrapped around him and fed off his hate, a hate that emanated from the scar on his chest.

The power around him began to grow steadily, flooding the area around him and tainting every person it touched. Before long, Geese's entire mansion was glowing with the dark aura, a throbbing heartbeat of evil incarnate. The mist was alive with hate and lust and it consumed all light within the mansion. There was only darkness, and the slow beat of life within the evil.

Soon. He would have them both. Soon.

Sulia suddenly awoke to a chill that stole through her. Her eyes filled with dread as they darted back and forth, staring into the shadows for any sign of life…or of evil. Her breathing had quickened with that moment of panic, but after sensing that no shadow would attack, she took a deep breath to calm her racing heart. She didn't want to disturb Terry.

She turned to look at the man sleeping beside her and she smiled. She watched his easy breathing and her heart clenched in her chest. She gazed at him lovingly as her hand moved some of his blonde hair out of his face. Her eyes traced over his features making sure they would be engraved in her memory forever.

Sulia then looked up to the window and gazed at the moon that was showering its light. She knew what had awakened her. Geese had fully merged with the evil. It was out there and it was waiting.

She turned back to Terry tears glistening in her eyes. She would not let Geese have Terry. She would destroy Geese and the monster with the Armor of Mars and she would make sure none of her friends got involved. Last time they had almost been killed because of her. She will not put their lives in danger again.

She slowly got up from the warm bed she had shared with Terry and gazed at his sleeping form. She just hoped he didn't notice her missing. She quickly got dressed, but before she headed toward the window, she looked at him one final time. She gave the moonlight a small smile and bent over Terry for a last fleeting kiss. She then quickly hurried to the window and made her escape hoping she would have enough time to defeat Geese before Terry and the others noticed she was missing.

The moment she landed on the ground and ran off into the night, Terry Bogard's blue eyes opened as he gazed into the darkness. Foolish angel.

Did she actually think he was going to let her defeat Geese by herself? Did she actually think he wouldn't notice her heat missing beside him?

He sat up and slowly got out of bed, his eyes determined.

He was not going to loose her again.

Sulia gazed at the enormous double doors before her, her golden eyes shimmering with determination. This was it. Even if it killed her a second time, she was going to destroy the threat to Terry. She took in a deep breath and began to gather her newly awakened power. Geese had been so obsessed with eliminating Terry that he had given up his humanity. This man had always been evil. He had killed Terry and Andy's father, their master and Lily. And now he wanted to annihilate Terry because he defeated him once. Sulia shook her head. She would not allow it. For the sake of the world and for the man she loved, she would defeat Geese!

The doors before her suddenly burst open and the stench of evil wafted toward her. She steeled herself against it and continued gathering her power, her skin beginning to glow as she entered the room.

The room was completely shrouded in black. The cold mist taunted her skin, sliding itself around her as she moved further into the room. She never looked around, only straight ahead as she found Geese with her powers. Nothing would stand in her way and she wouldn't let herself become distracted.

But nothing could have prevented her gasp when she finally saw Geese.

He wasn't even human anymore.

The scar on his chest glowed with evil power and two red eyes had opened on his chest on either side of the scar. His eyes were completely black, shadowed with the dark mist and he was floating in the air high above her. How tall was this room? Was she even in the mansion anymore? The thought hit her fiercely. What if she wasn't even in this plane any longer but in the lair of the evil spirit? She shook her head and maintained her resolve. She would not let her doubts cloud her mind. Her skin began to shimmer once more, her eyes glittering. She would destroy this creature once and for all.

"Where are your friends, little goddess? " Geese asked, but it really was no longer Geese, but his evil merged with the evil of the darkness he had called upon. Sulia only gazed up in determination, her eyes firm and her fists clenched as her power continued to build.

"Did you plan to fight me alone?" The cackle that came from the creature then echoed throughout the empty space. Sulia said nothing. "You are a foolish child. Once I have consumed you and your power, nothing will be able to stop me from overwhelming with world in darkness. But only after I have destroyed Terry Bogard."

Sulia shook her head and then closed her eyes, her heart beating rapidly in her chest. She would not allow this thing to win. She would use up all of her power, even her life energy if it was necessary, to defeat the creature. Power from her love and the Godamus armor gathered in her hands as her eyes shot open, the golden eyes blazing. "I will send you back to darkness."

"SULIA!"

She quickly turned around, the power in her hands fading. There, just ahead of where she was looking, approaching her quickly, were all her friends. Andy and Mai, Joe and Laela, and Terry among them. How had they known she was here? Why had they followed her? She turned completely toward them, only to be caught up in Terry's arms once he had reached her.

"Are you insane?! Did you think I wouldn't notice you missing? I knew exactly where you would go! You cannot do this alone, Sulia, and I won't let you." Terry released her and then gripped her shoulders as he gazed down into her eyes. "I won't loose you again, damn it. We defeat this thing together."

Sulia turned to the others and their eyes were bright with agreement. This wasn't just her fight. It was their fight. They would protect each other and everyone else in the world if need be. They were joined by friendship. They wouldn't loose.

All six then turned to face Geese and the creature he had merged with. Its evil cackle sounded through the space around them, but they paid it no heed. The challenge had been issued. The battle had begun.

The mix of the monster's evil powers and Geese's skill in martial arts made a deadly combination. The group was having severe trouble getting any hits in and the only things seeming to have some affects were their special moves that took up most of their energy. It was then that they realized that they couldn't defeat Geese the ordinary way. They needed some power that would destroy the creature within him first and then they would be able to defeat Geese.

Sulia was already gathering her energy and her power. With a nod from Terry the other four attacked the creature distracting it away from Sulia and Terry. From what Sulia's uncle had said, the Armor now fed off Sulia and Terry's love for each other. So with their love fueling the Armor the power Sulia could expel from it would be multiplied.

Or so they assumed.

Sulia was in the circle of Terry's arms, their love fueling the power of the Armor, the glowing of her skin becoming so bright that the dark mists around the room began to dissipate. Laela, Joe, Andy and Mai continued to distract Geese, but as Sulia's power began to grow, it was almost impossible to divert its attention.

Abruptly, Sulia let out a scream that even startled Terry. Brilliant wings suddenly burst out of her back and she and Terry shot into the air only to end up floating right before Geese and the being that had possessed him. The other four only stared up at them in shock until just as suddenly they were thrust into the air to float beside them. Sulia's eyes were closed, her arms spread as a ball of light began to gather before her. It was then that they heard Sulia's voice in their minds.

I can't do this alone. I need all of your strength. Your greatest strengths. And your love.

The group smiled at each other and didn't hesitate. They closed their eyes and gathered their strength and their love for each other; for brothers, for sisters, for friends, for lovers. The blaze of power within Sulia's grasp began to grow even more brilliant. The power of the earth burst forth from the ground and reached all the way up to surround Terry. The ability Master Ton had shown him. Even the Earth was lending her power to destroy the evil that threatened her.

And with a cry of battle, the six opened their eyes expelling all of their strength and all that made them human into Sulia's blast of light.

No matter where Geese moved, he could not have escaped the explosion of power that had erupted from them and had completely consumed the evil and the mansion.

When the group slowly awoke from unconsciousness they were outside Geese's mansion…or what was left of Geese's mansion. Only smoke and ashes seemed to be present and those seemed to be coming from the earth in a silent thanks. They all grinned at each other, exhausted but pleased.

"We did it," Sulia whispered as she held onto Terry. She had protected him and they had protected the world from Geese's threat. They were all safe now.

Mai let out a whoop and bounced up. "I say this calls for a victory celebration! I have never been so happy in my life!" She rushed toward Sulia and Laela pulling them up into an exuberant hug. Their laughter echoed across the silent land. Joe and Andy grinned as Terry got up and looked off into the distance.

He was sure that there were probably going to be plenty more battles, plenty of challenges. But as long as they had each other there was nothing to worry about. He turned to the women and Sulia threw herself into his arms with a cry of joy. Terry laughed and lifted her high into the air.

Terry Bogard finally had something more to live for. He looked at his grinning, happy friends; Laela and Joe tossing insults, Mai and Andy kissing. Terry looked at the woman glowing in his arms, her skin glistening with his love for her and hers for him. He now had a future.
